The support team is excellent I always receive quick and accurate responses to my inquiries, which is rare these days. Lost My Trust Completely — No Real Support at All
With Skype shutting down, I transferred my long-time company phone number to Microsoft Teams. However, due to limitations in Teams, I decided to switch to another provider. ChatGPT recommended Telnyx, and initially, everything seemed fine.
Unfortunately, my experience quickly turned into a nightmare. Despite completing KYC verification and providing all required business information, I’ve been unable to send SMS messages to my customers because my account hasn’t been upgraded to Level 2. I’ve contacted Telnyx support every single day for the past five days — through email, Slack, and their chatbot — but I keep receiving the same generic response: “Please provide your information to create a Level 2 and 10DLC brand.”
The problem is, I’ve already done that multiple times. No one seems to actually review my case or take ownership of resolving it. To make matters worse, their documentation now suggests I can’t even port my company number out to another service without this Level 2 upgrade.
This has left my business communication completely blocked and caused significant frustration. I simply want my company number — the one I’ve used for years — back from Telnyx.

Excellent technical support from Telnyx engineers
I had a very specific SIP issue with my Asterisk server: inbound calls were being disconnected exactly after 5 minutes, but only during audio recording.
I opened a support ticket and Ilja from Telnyx support took the time to analyze my SIP traces and found that Asterisk wasn’t sending session refreshes during AGI record_file().
He clearly explained the root cause (session timer expiration) and suggested practical solutions — enabling SIP session timers and periodic re-INVITEs.
I really appreciate the competence and patience of the Telnyx team. You can tell they understand the technical side deeply, not just reading from a script.
Highly recommend Telnyx for developers who need a reliable and responsive SIP provider.

We’ve been using Telnyx mainly for SIP connections, and the experience has been excellent. The service is reliable, easy to implement, and scales perfectly for our needs. What really stands out is their customer support , it’s fast, friendly, and genuinely helpful, which makes a huge difference. On top of that, they offer a wide range of phone numbers across many countries, which is critical for us as we expand internationally. Instead of juggling multiple providers, we can rely on Telnyx as a single partner that makes growth simple and stress-free.
Telnyx has no meaningful support
Telnyx has no meaningful support. I set up a Telnyx account for several reasons, including SMS messaging, IOT SIM Card usage, and SIP singnalling. While the SIP and IOT SIM cards worked well, I cannot use SMS messaging until my account is "Level 2 verified". I put in all the information necessary for Level 2 verification, and verification has been denied. The only recourse is to "contact support", so that is what I tried. There is a customer support phone number, which is excellent if you are interested in listening to on-hold music, being told that "your call is very important to us", before being dumped into a voicemail mailbox after 15 minutes, where you leave a voicemail, where you explain your issue and request a call back, which will never happen. I tried to get support for over a week, left 3 voicemails, and filled out the support request form on their website, and have still not, a week later, received any contact from Telnyx regarding my issues. If this is how they support people trying to implement their product and give them money, I am afraid to think what support would look like if there was a serious product issue or security vulnerabillity.

I’ve been using Telnyx for just over two years for my business telephony, and my experience remains very positive. I ported all my French landline numbers with no hassle—the switchover on the day was clean, with no noticeable downtime. The SIP trunk with unlimited channels really makes a difference: even at peak times, there’s never a busy signal or congestion.
On costs, my bills have dropped significantly compared to my previous provider. Call quality is clean and consistent, and service availability has been solid over time. The dashboard is clear for managing routing and monitoring activity, and the API integration was straightforward.
I’ve opened a few support tickets: fast, helpful replies, and you can tell they genuinely aim to fix the issue. In short, after more than two years, Telnyx delivers on the essentials: reliability, quality, fair pricing, and responsive support. I recommend it.
Horrible experience with customer support
Horrible experience and 2 days wasted. 24/7 customer service. Haha; their support is just the worst. I'm running a legit company, and they won't verify my account because at first, their "AI BOT" didn't approve my details, and the only thing they can do is delete my account so I can create a second one and maybe, just maybe, the "AI BOT" will verify me. What a sick joke. On the second try, after providing my details, my account got suspended. I've never been more disgusted at a company. Seriously, I would recommend not to use their services. Ohh, and their 24/7 customer service takes 2-3 days, just to reply and it hasn't been helpful even once.

Unprofessional & Inconsistent – Avoid at All Costs
I spent two weeks in conversations with Telnyx about using them as the backbone for a new CRM I’m building. My development team had already started integrating their platform, and we were close to finalizing a contract. Out of nowhere, they denied my use case, citing “concerns” about outbound calling.
That explanation doesn’t hold up. I know of a company they just signed that is running outbound calling (to cold data bases not opt'd in) at a far larger scale than anything I proposed. The only difference? That company is worth a much bigger monthly bill to Telnyx.
In my experience, they don’t operate with fairness or transparency. They wasted my team’s time, stalled my launch plans, and showed me they care more about chasing bigger clients than honoring agreements or treating all customers equally.
I would never recommend them. If you’re looking for a reliable partner to build with, look elsewhere.

The worst experience ever. Two weeks back and forth with the customer support and still havent got my number setup why? First there was a technical issue and now questions over questions without knowing anything about specific country compliance. Don't recommend to anyone.
