Avoid! Are useless.

Booked 48 hours before to take to a hospital appointment. 45 minutes after pick up time until a driver was assigned then would be another 15 minutes. I would never use them again. Phoned after waiting 20 minutes and they didn't care. Not interested in helping at all.

DO NOT USE!

DO NOT USE!
This taxi service was booked for me by a seperate company. They misquoted my fare as £78 which was supposed to be £50 and did not correct this until I contacted them myself weeks later. The driver was driving unsafely, swerving in the road and going under 30mph on a dual carriageway. The staff I contacted were extremely rude and dismissive and did not whatsoever take my experience seriously. They offered a refund for the incorrect fee but refused to acknowledge the drivers behaviour which was extremely dangerous. Incompetent, uninformed about trading laws, and generally awful service. Avoid at all costs.

POOR AND UNREASONABLE SERVICE.

Hi All whom reads reviews, blessings.
My experience thus far with Take Me Taxi Company is funfermentally shocking and appalling.

To be fare. The driver last night when booked through a place of separate business was excellent and indeed the service was to a high standard. However they failed to provide the £5. Discount for first-time customers as they advertise on thier websight and other media...

Tonight. I contacted Take Me Taxi's and the initial receptionist on the board or switchboard was excellent with a high standard of communication skills, appearing highly supportive during the booking over the telephone.

Then the Driver rang me within the booking time frame, but was rude, aggressive, and confrontational.
He was also profoundly misleading, saying he was parked up waiting, but when I looked for his cab, he was not at the requested area of pick up. I simply asked him to pull up at the requested area. However, this is when he became larrey and confrontational, expressing directed and de-humanizing attitude and abuse.
I simply expressed as any straight talking innocent person would drop your attitude and pull up qt tge area requested throughout the booking process please.

However. He contact's me back around three minutes after and again was profoundly misleading and again not parked in the designated and requested area of pick up.

When he does stop his vehicle where I can see his cab, I ask him to give me a moment to collect my belongings. He then screams at me, "I am blocking the traffic and you need to hurry."
Again. I suggested, "drop your attitude bro'."

He then continues being profoundly disrespectful and confrontational. I then managed to get to him within two minutes of the telephone call.

The driver continues with his verbal abuse and undertones of being a devalued customer. I repeated on several occasions, " Either drop your attitude or get me another driver.

At this stage several people started to become aggressive on the street. One offers to get into his cab. I say no, ate you even plated and licensed to provide a taxi service? Readers if you are not sure about the legitimacy of a driver or Licenced cab , my advice is do not place yourself in any vehicle as you are not insured for accidents, or potential violence, or other dangers.

This driver caused a scene. I was victimised and verbally abused by passers by potentially leading to further confrontations...

When the driver then commenced the 4.3 mile journey. He did not comply with the speed limits. He was doing 40 and above in built up areas and I feared fir my safety as he took me on a white knuckle ride doing slarlom with other traffic and parked vehicles, speeding through traffic lights on RED...

When we arrived at destination. He refused to drop me off where I politely requested...

He also charged me extra for using a Card Teading device at 60p above the fare of the night before.
I asked for a receipt which initially he refused. He then became even more difficult because I asked on several occasions for his Badge number to be included with pick up point and drop off.
I observed the Licence Plate Number and made note in case I decide to take matters further by reporting my experiences with the company or/and the Local Licencing Authorities...

So far. Yes quite a mixed review, but a Comprehensive one. Two years ago, as a Vinerable, disabled man this same company, trading under a separate name, one of their drivers physically assaulted me after pulling from his vehicle and punching me down on the floor. A person with mobility issues and at that time using crutches whilst this driver throws my belongings out of his cab. As a person whom works in Care and Support of Vunerable disabled persons, we are consistently hearing shocking stories and experiences of similar type...

The relevance of all this is to make rhe vulnerable aware of how some drivers of many different Service Providers feel entitled and grandious believing Vunerable adults are fair game to abuse and victimisation. However. There are a minority of drivers whom are so curious and respectful meeting individual needs...

Most drivers in this area have their Cabs plated through numerous local councils whom they feel avoid the high standards set by Birmingham Council so they can get away with thier misdeeds..

If Take Me Directors advertise their policies and objectives on thier websight, they also need to be aware that a change of company name and change of Directors dies not change their drivers attitude or how they provide a service. I appeal to the authorities all cabs and drivers should be liced for Private Hire within their own local regions and nit Licenced in one region but work in another or pick up in another region. Thank you readers for your patience. I implore you all to be safe, respcted and valued.

Don't expect a timely service

If you have to get somewhere for an important appointment do not use TakeMe as every time you book in advance for a specific time they're always late and you'll end up late for your appointment. Just recently I booked in advance for 1030 to get me to the hospital in time for 1100 and the driver didn't turn up until 1045 and I missed my appointment. Surely if you book for a certain time they should turn up for that time not almost 15 minutes late.
