Absolutely awful service

Absolutely awful service. As soon as they took my money for the deposit, they would not reply to a single email I sent them. I needed a second fob to enter the premises, that I was told I could easily get. I sent over 10 emails about it and did not receive anything in return. Furthermore, when I moved out of the property they said I would received my deposit back within 4 weeks. I waited 5 months to get it back and that was only after i went through the deposit protection scheme, they gave it back on the very last day before legal proceedings were going to be started through the scheme. This was all after I went into the office 5+ times to ask them where my deposit was and they consistently said that it wasn't them who dealt with the deposit and there was nothing they could do, even though when I paid it I did so on a credit card machine at their offices.

They consistently lie to their customers, they also said a cleaner would come to the house every two weeks, but one only arrived the day before new people moved in. We only saw the cleaner twice in 4 months.

Their customer service is awful and unfortunately they are just another estate agents that prey on desperate people they know need a place to stay and once they have your money they don't care about you at all. Absolute scammers do not rent a room from these people!

How are you still operating?

How is it even legal that you still operate? You people shoudl be ashamed of yourselves. How do you sleep at night knowingly screwing people over in a global crisis like this? T*ssers.

Terrible agency

Terrible agency. Experienced just like other people did here. My annual contract has been renewed automatically for another three months without any heads up. So I can't leave if I don't want to break the contract.
Don't trust what agent has promised you. They said all bills included -that means landlord pay some of the bills only, you will find out your deposit has been deducted for 'overspend' when you're moving out.
They let some rooms for short term staying. ( I don't believe they charge them overspent bill btw) People staying short period take all the advantage from us who stay long. And the agency won't do anything to compensate.
Cleaning service is just a joke. They said it's just a nice gesture that they provide it, so there's no promise. However, our landlord said the agency do charge them for this.
There are more stories about how terrible is this agency, and I do hope there won't be more people experience it. Is there any way we can volume up and report it to some authorities?

Never, ever use them! Ultimate scammers! Transferred a bill under my name after I moved out!

If only I can put 0 stars! The worst possible agency ever! Once you sign the contract - forget about them - they disappear! We lived in their property for more than 3 years and oh my god .. I've seen it all! We have been left without hot water, gas, electricity due to engineering problems which they didn't bother to solve until someone went to their office to blow a massive scandal in front of other potential victims or simply because - yes you guessed it right - they didn`t pay the bills!

But tip of the iceberg, we moved out 1 year ago and they ...TRANSFERED THE WATER BILL UNDER MY NAME! Now I received a bill under my name for unpaid water for a property I am no longer living in. Of course I am not paying it and I can easily take the claim down but the audacity ...Even when we were living in the property we were bills included, which I have a written contract of as a proof so no bills were under mine or the other person I lived with names`.

They basically decided that they will stop paying the bills again and simply transfer it to someone else .. Oh how bad of them - now they will pay the interest as well :)

In conclusion, never ever use this agency! We have ( thank God) received our deposit back but I know of people who haven't; you will get no support if there are problems in the property you are living in ( and there will be because they don't look after them); they will overcrowd rooms and flat that are legally supposed to be with way less people; and finally they might even transfer a bill under your name ... What am I to be expecting next - the mortgage is under my name too... haha Absolute jokers and scammers!

Don't trust them

Very unreliable agency. As soon as you sign the contract and leave your deposit, you will never hear from them again. So if there is anything to fix in the house, they will ignore you. We didn't have any heating or hot water in our house for two weeks in the middle of January when it was freezing. Plus they don't return your deposit and any money that they owe you. My advice, stay away from them.

Awful company

Awful company. Dismissive and rude staff who broke the law by entering tenant bedrooms with zero notice. Allowed the property to fall into complete disrepair, no attempt made at repairs. Landlord would routinely barge his way into the house with no notice. On leaving the shared house, this company began renting out rooms on Airbnb (without communicating this) so we'd find random strangers in our kitchen eating our food and using our appliances.

These people have been convicted multiple times for breaking the law, it's foreign-owned and I have my personal suspicions that it's a front for money laundering.

Avoid at all costs!!

Honestly cannot say avoid this company enough!!
At first, the agent was so nice in finding me a room. Once I have paid the deposit, she stopped replying to any of my messages. I was given the key but told not to go to the property yet as the cleaner is doing her job. After 3 days from when I was supposed to move in, I finally went there to check, as none was answering my calls to tell me if it's safe to. I met the cleaner and she said she was not told anyone was moving in and was surprised to find me there with a key. The room only had one plug behind the bed and did not even bother to put at least a lightbulb in for the ammount of money they ask for rent.
Throughout my stay there, everytime I tried to contact them, noone would answer my emails or calls it would have to be me calling them even 3 times in a row for someone to answer. And when the finally answered, the agents were rude.
I was told that we would have cleaners every week, however when I brought this up I was told it is only to their discretion if they send someone or not.
I have lived there for quite a while, however when I asked for a new bed as the original one was so poor quality, they have asked for £150 plus transport for them to bring the same bad quality bed.
If someone new was coming in another room, I was never announced, I would just bump into strange people into the flat who claimed they just moved in.
The brought people to do works in my room while I was on holiday, and they did not bother to clean the mess they made around the room.
When I left, I had asked them to provide some sort of help with the key handling, as I was leaving straight to the airport and did not want to waste time to go to them. I have asked that as I have health issues and during this pandemic I wanted to avoid as much human confrontation as possible unless really needed. The rude agent I talked to on the phone recommended to take the underground and after I mentioned again that I do not wish to risk that, he rudely said that "if you have a mask you can take the tube". I put in a complaint but to this day they did not apologise for that, moreover they closed the claim.
They are only looking for the money and once the contract is signed, they start ignoring you and cannot wait for something to happen so they can get even more money from you.
When leaving, I recommend you to pressure the into using the deposit as last month's rent, as I see from previous reviews that deposits are never returned.
Wish I saw the Joe Lycett video before signing with them.
