Founded in 1919 by Sam Plesser, one of America’s oldest appliance stores is still going strong, while scores of competitors have gone out of business. Advertised a range and then when I paid for it, they tell me it is not in stock. Talk to another person and it turns out they lied about being out of stock said they mis-priced it and would not sell it to me for what I paid, made me pay an additional $500 to get the stove. Very deceptive selling practices at this place.
Adam was very helpful. Price was better than local big box stores.

Awful! Purchased a 6K range with PRO install. Range was delivered and delivery personnel had no idea about the install. After trying to call customer support (no answer in business hours) and the delivery people calling the manger ... they changed their position and offered install. However ... they were not "Licensed" to install gas appliances. What a risk??!? I finally contacted customer services who was RUDE and hateful and offered to remove $400 install fee for me to keep the range. WHAT? NO way. Finally customer service HUNG up after yelling "I am coordinating with the delivery company and I Will call you back" CLICK (Hung up). A bit later they packed up the range on the truck and drove off. NO communication since. Nothing ... crickets. I have no idea what the state of the order is currently. I have disputed the charge with the bank.

If I had known what kind of nightmare the delivery would be, I would never have purchased from Plessers.
My sales associate, Adam Bayram, was fantastic—knowledgeable, helpful, and a big reason why I committed to the purchase. I’m very happy with my Thermador range and drawer microwave.
Throughout the process, I received updates, and the day before delivery, I was told to expect the delivery sometime in the morning. Then, around 6 p.m. that same day, I got a call saying they now wanted to deliver that night. I agreed, as long as they could be quick and quiet since I have a newborn.
Around 9 p.m., a truck shows up. The delivery team clearly lacked experience—especially for handling a $10,000 appliance. I asked if they could bring the range around back since that would be easier for in-home delivery. They responded, “Give us a few minutes while we set up.”
At 9:30 p.m., I get a knock on the door. They tell me they’re going to leave the range at my front door or inside the garage. I told them I paid extra for Gold Insured & Inspected Delivery. They immediately got defensive, started arguing with me, and accused me of trying to get free white glove service.
I showed them my receipt—$332.98 for the Gold Insured Delivery—and read directly from the Plessers website:
“Most customers choose our Gold Insured Inside Uncrated & Inspected delivery because it includes a 2-man team unpacking your products, bringing them into your home, and placing them in the room of your choice.”
When I told them I wanted the range placed in the kitchen, they sighed and got on the phone with their supervisor. After a 20-minute hold, the supervisor confirmed what I had already paid for: full in-home delivery with uncrating and placement. As you’d expect for a range, that means the kitchen.
The delivery crew then spent the next 30 minutes uncrating the unit with a visible attitude, grumbling the entire time. I watched them closely to ensure no damage. They finally placed the range in the kitchen—but left a trail of packing debris from the kitchen to the driveway.
As I escorted them out, one of the guys turned and asked if I was going to tip them. Despite their behavior, I handed each of them $20—only because my wife whispered that we don’t want these guys coming back angry or causing problems.
That was the delivery experience for my $10,000 Thermador range and microwave. Never again

We were fortunate and worked with Plessers for all appliances for a new home. They were excellent in guiding us on what would be best for our preferences, price range, etc. Rob was great to work with. Appliances were delivered with care. Great team, efficient. All around have been quite pleased with the selection and service from buying to install.

The two installers arrive on time. Harold and Chris were both pleasant and professional. Removing the prior fridge was not trivial due to surrounding cabinetry, but they dealt with that methodically and carefully and solved the problem. Because of the cabinet the installation of the SubZero also had issues, belt again they were solved beautifully.

They couldn’t deliver the dishwasher on time, so I had to cancel the order. Now, they’re trying to charge me $1000 in fees, even though the product cost $1500. Daniel from customer service was especially unhelpful and impatient.
Delivery person very helpful. Microwave installed without issue. Maytag microwave came with sticker on door which is requiring a lot of goo gone to get off. Didn’t think real stickers were used anymore. Still working on removing sticker & hope it doesn’t leave mark on door.
