I bought some personalised items thru not on the high street for a 21st birthday gift but despite contacting them it has still not been received and the tracking information just goes to RM page and says update as soon as.
They have my money and no goods. Wouldn’t trust or use again

Terrible delivery delays

They use Evri,which explains why my product has not arrived nine days after placing the order. UK address to UK Address and it's still getting sorted in the 'senders local depot' according to the parcel tracking. The item was for a special occasion. No use at all, pigeon post would be quicker. Oakdene should not make promises for delivery that they know Evri can't fulfil.

Do not sell your car to this company.

I just sold my C43 this morning to this dealership. After successfully winning my car at auction on Motorway.co.uk.

They haggled me down £3,000 on the agreed price due to stone chip damage.

This is something they are not allowed to do according to the auction rules.

I was told that if I try to sell it anywhere else they will now have evidence of the stone chip damage, so I will struggle to sell using other platforms.

They know all the tricks in the book. Auctions being one of them.

The driver told me they only collect 40% of vehicles they win at auction.

This means they can simply rinse and repeat the same process.

Oakdene have successfully turned a transparent and honest buying process into a system that exploits vulnerable customers.

I would not recommend selling or doing any business with this company again.

STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS POOR COMPANY

If I could give zero stars I would

This company is really poor ordered an anniversary gift for the 25th may this was ordered on 17th may with express delivery paid for with a promise of 3/4 days delivery.

I emailed on the 24th may and they didn’t email back until the 27th may saying sorry the email went to their spam email.

Promised next day delivery with a 10% refund it’s now the 29th may and I still haven’t received the gift or my refund.

Stay well clear of this company they ruin guests occasions

Unreliable Company

This company is the definition of why the motor trade has such a poor name. Sold my car to Oakdene via an auction site. I had to chase multiple times for a pick up time, in the end got passed off to the collection company (who incidently were very nice..of course not related to Oakdene). Anyway due to a clear case of buyers remorse, Oakdene proceeded to reduce the agreed auction price of my car by £4500 based on the tinest of blemishes on a car that is 7 years old.
An unreliable company one to avoid.

If I could give zero stars

If I could give zero stars, I certainly would. Initially, I was impressed by their professional setup and sleek headquarters, but it soon became clear that their primary focus was on earning commissions. This included aggressive upselling of products like the 'best of the best' warranty and ceramic polish.

When I picked up my car, I noticed a few issues and brought them up immediately. I was reassured that I could have the repairs done independently and they would cover the costs. However, after I got the repairs done, they completely ignored me. They are never available for a phone conversation, they rarely respond to emails, and in the end, I was left to pay the bill myself. I cannot recommend this company at all. Their customer service is terrible, their post-sale support is horrendous, and their communication is shockingly poor.

Professional Response to Problem

Ordered three items intended as Christmas presents ( dog treat tins) and only two arrived.
I contacted Oakdene immediately and was initially a little concerned at the time it took for them to reply.
However, when they did respond to my message their customer service was excellent.
Missing tin was printed and dispatched immediately and I received it today.
I feel that they dealt with the mistake very professionally.
Clearly other reviewers have a different perspective, but my experience was ultimately a positive one.

I ordered a T-Shirt last week for my nephew for Christmas and paid a ridiculous £6.95 for Express Saturday delivery - as I was taking presents 80miles to my family on the Sunday (last weekend).
The item did not arrive by 1pm on the Saturday *as stipulated for Express Saturday delivery. It is now Tues and I still do not have the item. I have emailed Oakdene asking for a refund for the Saturday Express delivery and they have not yet replied.
They even emailed me the Royal Mail tracking number- stating the item was delivered and after checking the tracking status myself. Royal Mail clearly states not delivered!
A company should not charge £6.95 for a delivery service they cannot provide. Now I will have to post the item to my nephew at further cost to myself.

I have never given a review before but the guitar tree decoration is very disappointing. The font is not as advertised. It's far too small and for £9.99 I would expect better quality. I opened mine and on threading the provided piece of string the top of the guitar snapped off. I would not recommend and can't give feedback on their website or find contact details... Sorry guys this is really poor

Big scam

Big scam, all reviews on etsy fake, ordered decorations and they just sent a photo, gave a bad review (i waited 3 days after messaging) and all of a sudden loads of 5 star reviews pushed mine down the bottom...suspicious. Opened a case with etsy and all of a sudden responded offering me a refund.
Hopefully i will get money back.
Don't trust!

They sent me a personalised item with two GLARING typos on. Showing a complete disregard for quality control. The printed invoice it arrived with showed how it should be printed but they seeming decided to ignore instructions (and the English language). I have emailed them to ask for a corrected item asap since it’s a Christmas present but the response is so slow that I decided to call instead on Friday last week. Only to be told by their voicemail that they open 2pm Til 4pm four days a week. Laughable. It wouldn’t even let me leave a message! So I tried again today between their opening hours of 2 and 4 (lol) on 3 separate occasions and although it now rings, it still plonks you into a voicemail. I have left one and expect to hear back on the twelfth of never!

Appalling service and company

This company would get 0 stars if that was possible! Absolutely shocking customer service and extortionate prices. I ordered two dog Christmas decorations. They did not have the correct colour for one of them so I emailed and I was told to put the order through as custom. I looked at this but it was £12 PLUS £22. How does this even make sense? The standard ones pictured on their website are £12. How can adding £22 on top of this be justified? I was not asking for anything 'bespoke'. I was simply asking for a different colour of a breed they already had. I would not recommend buying from this company. I cannot get a refund as it is personalised so I am out of pocket of £24. I cannot give one without the other. Steer clear of this company. Absolutely awful!!!

Horrendous attitude and customer service

I placed an order last month (one full priced item and some sale items) which said it would arrive between 6th and 8th so in time for valentines day.
8th came and still no parcel. I emailed and after two days finally had a response. They said there must have been an error with the pricing so I have to pay over a hundred pounds to receive my order!
I said considering; I paid the listed prices, I had email confirmation, noone had contacted me to tell me otherwise, and according to the consumer rights act a contract is formed when a seller offers a price and the buyer agrees and pays so really they need to send me the items I paid for.
They said to pay or they will cancel and give a refund or they would just send me the full priced items.
I explained again I would like my full order.
They then cancelled my order so left me without anything!

Absolutely horrendous customer service. They then offered to let me order again! I'd never order from this company and would encourage others not to

I bought a personalised dog tree topper and its fab, It arrived on the delivery date, it's good quality and i'm really happy with the price too. I now have my English bull terrier on top of my tree. I luv it.

Unprofessional and terrible customer service

I recently purchased a personalised T shirt through Oakdene using Not on the High Street which was my first mistake, because when the shirt arrived they had made a very obvious error with the printing. As they had printed the shirt I contacted Oakdene directly but unfortunately the very unhelpful individual I spoke to insisted that rather than rectify their mistake and offer good customer service, I would need to photograph their mistake, email it to NOTHS, then wait for them to respond ( this was a birthday gift originally ordered in good time). Upon hearing/receiving no shirt or communication I contacted Oakdene again, and unfortunately spoke to the same jobsworth who said as they had not received anything from NOTHS I should now waste even more of my time and phone them and then NOTHS would contact them to tell them to rectify their mistake!!! The customer service advisor at NOTHS was very helpful, but agreed with me that as this was an error on Oakdene Design’s part, it should have been acted upon by themselves, instead of 2 emails containing 3 photos and 6 phone calls to amend a mistake that wasn’t mine. Would never recommend this unprofessional company to anyone.
