Terrible Customer Service

After a missed delivery, i got an email from APC saying I could reschedule using the link which i attempted to do on the website but I got a message 'not eligible' and was given am email address to contact. I did this and was contacted by Nichols of M&H couriers to confirm a new delivery date. Great. On the new schedule deliver day, Friday, i got an email from APC with a deliver window of 3pm -5pm that day however at 11am I noticed a missed called and then an email stating another missed delivery. I contacted M&H straight away where I was told the delivery window isn't set by them and they aren't made aware of it so deliver when it suits them. I was also told that because I'd had 2 missed deliveries I would have to collect from the depot within 3 working days, which wouldn't have been possible for me. The person on the phone was very unhelpful, almost rude. I requested to speak to a supervisor and was told I'd get a call back. On the Monday, I had an email from APC saying again, they were going to deliver between 3pm -5pm. I emailed M&H about this, stating I wouldn't be home etc and asked if it could be left with a neighbour and stated about the conflicting information I'd already recieved. The responses I got were blunt and in no way friendly or offering any sort of customer service. They basically took no responsibility of the delivery window and seemed to be oblivious to the fact that from a customers perspective we are dealing with APC so delivery windows etc are set and are going to be adhered to. I again raised the point that I was expecting to hear from a supervisor and now a week on from the first conversation ...I'm still waiting!
To end on a positive note, the driver called me when he attempted to deliver on the Monday I wasn't at home and really tried to help me out so that the parcel wouldn't go back to the depot. He managed to ensure I got my item that day. He's the reason they get 2 stars.

If i could leave zero stars i would. Last parcel i received was delivered 13 days after the date it was supposed to have been delivered on, tracking on website stopped working, no contact from M & H. I'm currently waiting on another parcel which should have been delivered on the 7th October, it's now the 15th!!! I've spoken the them directly this time and was told it was out for delivery on Monday, it didn't come, i was then told it would definitely be out on Tuesday, it didn't come and by the afternoon tracking was updated to Wednesday (today), i've just checked tracking (8.30am) and it now says Thursday!!! They have not responded to my last email. I've wasted around 8 days of my time in total waiting at home for deliveries that never come. The worst delivery company ever, even worse than Evri and that's saying something!!! It's the same experience every single time M & H are involved.

1* is too generous. How this lot, the Aberdeen depot in particular, are still in business is beggars belief.
This is the 3rd time, not through choice, I’ve had to deal with M&H and 3 times I’ve waited in like a mug. I’m not even going to chase this time. Assume same excuse of “no drivers to deliver” will be used. Awful company….avoid!

Missing parcels,no contact from company

Up till now we've had no bother with this company. However parcel missing for 14days. Tracking says it's in Inverness depot,they can't find it, 'must have been misrouted' ? Don't see how that works with tracking ? No contact ,still waiting. Absolutely appalling service.

Fast and efficient with courtesy

Fast, helpful and courteous are the only words needed. Our item was picked up and delivered within 24 hours. Office staff, (Nicky) couldn’t have been any more helpful in processing the paperwork, we were kept up to date at every stage. The driver who delivered was courteous and helpful and went out of his way to ensure the fridge freezer was delivered safely, a credit to the company!

Poor experience

We arranged a very urgent collection and delivery through this company and the experience was extremely poor. Despite asking twice, no delivery date or time was ever confirmed. On the scheduled day, the collection did not happen because no driver was available — and we were not informed. Only after chasing did we learn that delivery would take five more days, as they do not deliver over weekends. We had no choice but to cancel and ended up incurring over £100 in extra costs to arrange alternative transport. A very frustrating and unprofessional service.

Thanks Kenny the Glasgow depot manager …

Kenny the Glasgow depot manager tried to help me with a DHL failed delivery, he even went across to their depot to enquire about my parcel, now 1 week late, so although it had nothing to do with M&H, ( I was told wrongly by Argos it was) they still tried to help, can't ask for more than that 🤷..thanks

One Star is Too Generous – Avoid M&H Carriers at All Costs

Absolutely shocking service from M&H Carriers in Inverness. I genuinely don’t understand how this company is still allowed to trade – Trading Standards should take a serious look at them. They are unprofessional, dishonest, and downright rude.

There is no customer service – trying to contact them is a nightmare, and when you do get through, you’re met with rudeness and arrogance. They behave like amateurs with no interest in helping customers or delivering parcels properly.

The worst part is that major companies like UPS and others continue to use them for Highlands deliveries simply because they don’t have depots here. It’s a disgrace. I now refuse to give any business to companies that use M&H, Evri, or DPD, and I always leave feedback explaining why.

M&H Carriers is a disgrace of a delivery company. If enough people speak up and refuse to accept this kind of service, maybe companies will finally stop using them – and M&H will go out of business. That’s what they deserve.

Do not use UPS, DPD, or M&H Carriers if you're in the Highlands – they’re unreliable and disrespectful.

Very poor service.

Very poor service.

The most unreliable delivery service out there.

Hands down the most unreliable delivery service I've ever experienced. First the driver showed up at my door and said that my order was on his device but not in the van. He promised me that it would be here that day or the next day. You would think a carpet and underlay is quite difficult to lose!

The next day, a different driver arrived with 1 out of my 5 packages and was very confused about where the other 4 were. What's more, he asked me at 6 months pregnant to help him carry the heavy carpet into the house... if the package is too heavy for one person to carry then why have you not got a two person delivery service assigned to it??

I phoned the office to find out where the rest of my order was and was told it had been split across 2 vans and the rest would definitely be with me that day. It was not. This was a Friday so I then had to wait over the weekend for the rest of my order to finally show up on Monday morning.

The whole time I was told that I would recieve a 2 hour delivery window on the morning of delivery which I did not. So I essentially had to sit in my house for 2 and a half days waiting for a delivery that may or may not show up. Every driver that arrived just blamed the previous driver, stating "oh yeah, he's a bit useless, not sure what he was doing". Would not buy from a company that uses this service again.

Great delivery company

Great delivery company! Deliverd my parcel before expected, I was given upto date tracking and a 2 hour delivery slot which the parcel was delivered within. I also left a not for Driver to leave in my safe place iv had difficulty with a couple of other companies leaving my parcel but M&H done exactly as I asked. Great service.

5 Star Service

Used M&H Carriers a couple times now all over the UK for my business deliveries to customers via pallet. Quotes are always quick, both customers delighted with the communication and drivers! A price that works for my business and a service that I can depend on has massively assisted us! Thank you.

Great service!

Just moved to Moray and M&H are the carriers other big companies use for the last leg of delivery.

Had a furniture order being delivered by DHL and had to reschedule through M&H. Simple call to real people and job done. There delivery guys even waited at our address as I was late back from appointment.

Their team were great to deal with and driver went over and above, delivering with great service.

My order supposed to be delivered on 23rd of April. Tracking system isn't helpful at all. Shows from 18th of April it was scanned in Inverness depot, when I called them they said not sure why was send to them and their redirect it to Aberdeen depot as it is their zone. Contacted Aberdeen depot unpleasant and not helpful man just said they don't have it and don't know where it is and brushed me of to contact seller. New update showed up on tracking (POD exempt and POD cleared) no parcel delivered and don't know where it is. It's big and heavy item is not like you can easily misplace it. Probably one of the worse delivery company I have to deal with. No communication between depots, delivering to wrong depot at first place. Not knowing where the parcel is or who exactly have it.
