I've been incredibly impressed with this swim school! The program is well-structured, making it easy for kids to learn essential skills in a fun, supportive environment. The teacher-to-student ratio is perfect—small enough that my son gets the attention he needs but large enough to keep the energy high and social.

One feature that really stands out is their online portal, which allows me to track my son's progress after each class. Seeing his achievements and areas for improvement laid out clearly keeps me engaged as a parent and helps my son stay motivated. He’s always excited to work toward his next badge or reward, and it’s been amazing to see his confidence grow with each milestone.

Great experience and swimming instructor Jose is well prepared and experienced.

My daughter spent almost 3 years with them. It was outstanding experience especially when she had a lesson with Jose. I highly recommend them

Sasha is amazing, incredibly friendly, and has a unique ability to connect with his students. His positive attitude and enthusiasm create a fun and encouraging learning environment that my kids absolutely love.
Sasha is not only skilled and knowledgeable but also very patient and attentive. He tailors his teaching methods to suit each child’s individual needs, ensuring they feel confident and supported in the water. My children have made remarkable progress under his guidance and look forward to their swimming lessons every week.

I highly recommend Sasha to anyone looking for a fantastic swimming instructor. He truly goes above and beyond to make every lesson enjoyable and productive.

We love Love To Swim!
Our child has improved his swimming skills and not just water safe, but swims better than many adults. Haha!

Our 3 children attended the swimming classes at Crown Plaza with Jose for more then 4 years now and they love every minute of their lesson. Jose is an amazing teacher, kind, caring, professional and fun all at the same time. The children love him, respect him and are always happy to go to his classes. As parents we are grateful for this swimming school as it offers amazing teachers/instructors, always flexible and understanding with our needs. Lesley and Emma, are always available to answer any question and accommodate any needs if it is in their power. We have always had a great relationship with both instructors and management staff and we would highly recommend them.

Love to Swim is a fraudulent company, which cancels half of their classes, reschedules those without their customers’ consent, and refuses to pay any refund legally owned to its customers.

It was and is a nightmare to deal with Emma and the rest of the Love to Swim team. Emma is now discriminating against my daughter (who is 7 years old!) and revoked her access to their platform (which they advertise as part of the package), as a revenge to my refund query (see below for more details).

In the end, Love to Swim paid the refund, and I would encourage anyone who has been scammed by them to insist on such refunds. As mentioned above, as a revenge, Emma deleted all data that included my daughter’s swimming progress made based on the lessons that we paid for (and, for once, were not cancelled).

I would be careful in entrusting children with any service offered by Love to Swim, as clearly they are only concerned about getting money and, at no point, about the wellbeing of the children whose parents made the mistake of booking Love to Swim classes.

We enrolled our daughter to Love to Swim’s programme at Goodluck Hope, out of convenience as we live nearby. The instructor is decent, and our daughter made some progress.
However, LTS’ management, led by Emma, is extremely poor and deprives children of their swimming lessons (and their parents of their money). We booked the last block of classes in June 2024 and since, 50% of the classes that we booked were cancelled due to staff shortage (i.e., the instructor didn’t come to work). That alone is ridiculous, however, LTS are not refunding us for the cancelled classes. Hiding behind their obscure terms & conditions, Emma insists that we are not eligible for a refund (they rescheduled the cancelled classes on a rolling basis, which we didn’t accept as there were calendar conflicts). This is obviously illegal (in the UK, customers have a statutory right of refund in case services are not provided as paid for at the time of payment), so now we have to go through the small claims court to claim back £26(!) for the two cancelled classes. If we had known that Emma and the rest of the management are illegally withholding money, and generally that they are more interested in scamming customers, rather than providing swimming classes for children, then we would have obviously not entrusted our daughter to any of Love to Swim’s services

Further to Love to Swim's reply below, I would like to reiterate what I mentioned in my review - Love to Swim's T&C's are obscure and the terms for cancellations/ refund are not clearly visible at the time of booking. Additionally, just because something is stated in a company's T&C's, does not make it legal (even if the customer "ticked a box"). Indeed, refusing a refund for cancelled services is illegal in the UK and can be prosecuted (thus my decision to go through the courts, asking also for damage compensation).
Also, Love to Swim mentioned in their reply to my review that my daughter still has two lessons left on account and that we can conclude the booking as scheduled - this is a pure lie and Love to Swim are trying to mislead prospective customers who are reading this. The two lessons still on account are two lessons that were cancelled by Love to Swim (see above) and unilaterally rescheduled by them to dates that do not work for our daughter, without our approval, i.e., we cannot "conclude the booking as scheduled", as the classes that we scheduled and paid for were cancelled by Love to Swim. This practice is not only unfair to existing customers (who need to attend classes that they had never scheduled, or just forfeit them and lose their money), but also to prospective ones as slots are blocked and remain unused (but with Love to Swim still keeping the money they are illegally withholding).
And lastly, to comment on the entire reply from Love to Swim, as, again, their answers are misleading readers, the e-mail request that I had and "was turned down", was a request to reschedule a class that was cancelled by Love to Swim, and rescheduled by them to a date that didn't work for our daughter, to a date that did work for her, which they refused (after which we asked for a refund, which again Love to Swim illegally refused to pay). This originated the discussion above, after which it became clear that Love to Swim are scamming their customers, where they can.

To show once more Love to Swim's misconduct, they just paid for the last positive review they had to be shown on top of all reviews (as advertisment), even if it is older than the negative reviews they received. Instead of refunding customers for classes that Love to Swim cancelled, they use customer money to bump up old positive reviews over negative ones and continue with misldeading current and prospective customers.

Awesome experience. Within 6 weeks with José I was confident in the water as an adult that has never swam and very scared of water. Jose is such a patient and amazing teacher. Jane also taught us on my session when José was off and she was very cool, I like her techniques. Unique coaches and approaches. Even with the kids lessons. I am now a confident swimmer months down the line and keep coming because I enjoy it and I am learning every week. Thank you so much. Ameenat (aka Ife )

José was a superb teacher. Consistent, encouraging, clear in his teaching. My daughter has attended his lessons for the past 4 years. Lesley from love to swim has been available to answer questions. It's been a pleasure and would happily recommend the team

Although I could swim a bit, I had never had swimming lessons, and didn't like putting my face under water. After a family holiday in 2023, I wanted to feel more confident, learn how to breathe underwater and master a proper stroke. I am so pleased I went to Crowne Plaza! José was my teacher. He not only taught me strokes, breathing and confidence, he has helped me fall in love with swimming. He is a wonderful teacher, encouraging and attentive. Slowly building confidence and techniques and introducing all strokes. I have completed my Improvers Class and now looking forward to this year's family holiday. Thank you José.

The teaching was good quality but the venue was unreliable and often lessons were cancelled and at little/no notice.

After a year and a half at another leisure center, my child struggled to progress past stage 1 in swimming and remained apprehensive about diving and submerging head in the water. I began to doubt if my child had the ability to learn swimming quickly. However, a friend recommended Jose from LoveToSwim, and what a difference he made! Jose's brilliant teaching style, discipline, and endless patience transformed my child's relationship with water. Within just three months, my child not only overcame fear but also advanced to stage 2 and now thoroughly enjoys swimming classes. I'm incredibly grateful to Jose for being such an exceptional teacher. We've found the perfect instructor for my child!

Love to Swim is an amazing place to learn to swim. My 6 year old daughter was very hesitant in the water to now filled with confidence. The instructor Debbie is fantastic, not only is she kind and caring but also incredibly professional, helpful, supportive, friendly and provides great guidance.

I had two lessons for 1:1 swimming where I learnt what I wanted to achieve. The swimming teacher was really helpful with teaching me to swim at my pace. I was anxious at first to swim but the teacher reassured me she would be by my side if needed. I would recommend non swimmers to try this swimming lesson as you learn a lot.

Swimming Teacher is absolutely brilliant. My son has learned from Love to Swim, and now my younger daughter is attending too. Very polite, helpful staff. The website is very easy to use too. Overall top-class swimming lessons.

Fantastic swim school, both my children are being taught by different teachers at the moment and are so comfortable and progressing really well. Lessons are well constructed and great communication. Thank you so happy our friends recommended you

Unprofessional waste of time

Pretty much the same experience as the other recent review posted here; paid in advance and they won't honour what I paid for; misinformation when booking on a very poor website, attended a class in July which stated during booking was the start of a block hence paying in advance rather than a single lesson but after attending the class was told it was actually the end class in that block before a break for holidays, after a long break for something I had already paid out for when I didn't have to, no classes when returning in September, emailed to ask what's going on and now apparently you can't do the lessons you've paid for and you don't get your money back. Disgusting! Basically, thieves, I would avoid this is not a good company.

Extremely fantastic teacher who helped me become more confident in swimming and learn techniques as a beginner - thank you Jose!
