Terrible, terrible service! I was waiting for having my order dispatched for 17 days, after contacting the company they cancelled my order without asking me what kind of compensation would be satisfactory. I am shocked.
Low quality customer service
I am a dedicated Kiehls customer for many years.
Every year on my birthday I get an email notifying me of a birthday gift when I make a purchase. Today I was going to make a purchase, when I put the purchases in my cart, I didn't see that the birthday gift had been added. I called customer service. Unfortunately, I got an agent who spoke very little English. I'm not sure if the agent understood my question, as he was unable to help me in any way other than escalating my request further. I also noticed that the agent was not polite enough.
Kiehls, you are a premium brand and your customer service should also be premium. I am not happy with my experience today, very upset and to cheer myself up I made a purchase of another brand

Kiehl’s POOR
Kiehl’s has POOR, POOR, POOR organisational setup. You cannot trust that an item on their website is in stock even when you place the order (ridiculous). I ordered the Kiehl’s creme de corps 500ml after a recommendation. At the time of ordering, I was given the option to select two sample sachets. The order was placed the payment taken and the confirmation received. Two days after placing the order, I received an email stating that part of my order was not available. I checked the Kiehl’s website for an alternative size, only to find the size I wanted was still available (ridiculous). A huge parcel then arrived from Kiehl’s, I initially thought it must be a mistake and when I opened the first packaging box there was another huge box inside. I opened it to find two small sachets (ridiculous). This is totally unethical and unacceptable. I called Kiehl’s customer services team to get an explanation and was told the inconsistences in the stock levels online was common and the huge box was sent because the packers in the warehouse were unaware of the stock levels until the parcel was due to be sent out (ridiculous). This is easy to fix; it’s 2025 after all. I was also advised to go head and leave a negative review. In short this is poor, poor, poor and such a waste of time of MY time. I will not order from them again.

Terrible delivery service
Love the products, but the delivery service is terrible. Waiting 2 weeks now for delivery. There shouldn’t be any reason for this when most other companies can deliver within a couple of days. When I contacted them after 12 days they refused to look into it and said they would only escalate after 14 days. Contacted them today after 14 days to no reply. Over 2 weeks for delivery with no update is extremely poor service and has put me off buying the product again in the future.
Edit: As of today, my order has been cancelled and refunded with no explanation - 15 days after it was placed. So I now have to find alternative solution as I will not use Kiehl’s products again after this experience.

Issue resolved
I received what eventually turned out to be a fraudulent email supposedly from this company regarding a declined payment for their products. After some correspondence, the matter has quickly been resolved. Whilst I can't comment on this company's products, their support and customer services were prompt and first rate in dealing with this issue.

Scammed
They sent me an offer that gives £20 off when spending £60 or more. I buy two products, one for £55 and another for £75. Order goes through fine. Next day i get an email saying they have run out of stock of the £75 item, which means i no longer get the £20 discount which is only reason i decided to shop on their site. Very convenient for Kiehl’s to alter the purchase agreement after the sale, less so for me.

Website awful, service meh
Products are great, but customer experience is dire. Website is awful, throws errors without telling the user why (so basic), and address matching is useless - they’re sending the product to my billing address, not the address I selected despite being clear on this. Customer service was mediocre too; raised this with them, completely overlooked it. Really disappointing. No point in having good products if people can’t get them properly.

Get samples of EVERYTHING before you pay out for a full size product
Bought an £80 moisturiser on a recommendation that it would be good for my skin type. It made it worse after a few uses and after a month I gave up. Messaged customer service as I have barely used 1/5th of the jar (usually something I find wonderful with Kiehl's - products last a long time). They won't do anything, not even offer any kind of voucher or credit considering I have spent hundreds on the ranges over the years and cannot use this really expensive item. They just don't care, reported as saying they value their customers and skin care, obviously not that much or they would care that lots of people are saying the same thing about this particular product. Usually their range is good and works well with my skin, is good value for.the amount and longevity..but this has put me off for good

Don't trust Kiehl's and Loreal with your data
I just spoke to Rob and Leo in your 'customer service' group. I have bought Kiehl’s products for the last c20 years and never ever have I thought about leaving as a customer. Today is the day. Not because of your products but because of your horrendous ethics in dealing with issues when you fall over. Not only does it appear as you have mishandled and compromised my data thorugh your non-functioning (dis)loyalty scheme but you have the indecency to gaslight me.
I would recommend everyone to make sure they do not trust Kiehl’s and their owners, Loreal with the data and if they must buy the products they should be them through a third party.

my first and last experience with kiehl's
I was recommend and went on to their website to see both a promotion and a few useful products. I order to the amount I qualify for the the promotion,
received, half my order. no promotion package extras.
messaging their support I'm told the products were out of stock and I wasn't charge.... this was true I wasn't but no notification, no option to change my order, the website stated in stock...…..
I spent 48euro on one product and feel its a waste. it feels if you want to order from this website its litrally a gamble if you will receive your items let alone qualify for any running promotion. there is no guarantee you will receive the items you order so why bother.
Just dont. not satisfactory support, if you need the product. i wont gamble with these

Products on their site aren't always in stock / available
Recently made an order via the Kiels UK website; one item wasn't sent because it was out of stock - I received no communication on this, nor offered a similar product (the product I ordered as a ltd edition packaging version of their regular product).
Sent an email to state the lack of communication on the product that was available to order, but out of stock.
This was in addition to other products I ordered, but ultimately I would not have made the order had I known part would not be delivered.
It took seven days to get a generic response (via L'Oreal UK customer support), which which basically stated, yes it was their fault, they are sorry and look to improve their systems - BUT - nothing to help, no offer of an alternative product etc. What is the point of 'Customer Care' if no solution can be offered for the customer? I total waste of time.
For context, I've been using Kiehl's for 20+ years after first discovering them in NYC, before they were widely available in the UK.
Experience and product has always been excellent, but based on this experience and feedback I won't be making an order from the site again - instead I will go to their stores where you are able to see what is in stock.

Order never came and no customer service response
Order KIEA203941shipped on 25 March, last update on Royal Mail website was 27 March as “in transit”, and parcel never came. I was asked to wait for the 14-day delivery timeline to pass, so I waited until 8 April. Sent Contact Form to customer service to ask for a refund to be processed, no response at all. What standard of service is this? At this day and age of e-commerce.
Update: no email response still until 15 April. I have provided additional info requested by Kiehl’s per their response below (on 15 April). Let’s see when my refund can be processed.

Missing parcel worth £110
I ordered on a Friday before midday and paid £9.95 for next day Saturday delivery. I got an email later in the evening saying it had been shipped. I also got a notification from DPD to say they were expecting my parcel. It’s now Monday evening and nothing…
I checked the DPD app and it says they’re expecting the parcel but haven’t received it yet. I emailed Keihls to ask where it is and request a refund of my postage and heard nothing. I’m not impressed. I’m a regular Keihls customer and their customer service is awful. I think it’s time to switch brands

I used to use Kiehls all the time, even though it's not particularly cheap but now they've closed most of thier shops, I have to rely on their terrible website. The last 3 orders have either turned up very late or not at all. I then have to chase them to get my money back.
