The worst experience I ever had with any warranty claim

DYSON CZECH REPUBLIC - BUT I CAN SEE ITS A GLOBAL ISSUE .The worst experience I ever had with any warranty claim . Customer service is outsourced and for 6 months now they are telling me that they ordering system is not working . All I need is my brush to be replaced. I end up being on probably 10+ chats with them in last 6 months. They are either lying that part will be shipped within 48h or faking that they system just stopped working. NEVER BUYING dyson AGAIN . @Dyson case 37924168 or 38200089 //

Bad quality and worst service ever

I bought a Dyson airwrap i.d. In March 2025. After a couple of months I noticed that the Conical barrel wasn’t working properly (weak hair strand wrapping in one direction), so I went to a Dyson store for proving its inefficiency and with the help of the customer service a new barrel was ordered under warranty in the middle of June. Unfortunately, I had to wait until August 26th for its arrival, just to realize that they sent me a 20mm airwrap barrel in a different color instead.
For the amouth I spent and a product under warranty I would have expected a better service and quality. Never again would I buy it again.

Premetto che ho 4 prodotti Dyson. Soddisfatto in generale. Ma per nulla soddisfatto riguardo al Purificatore umidificatore Dyson Purifier Humidify+Cool™ Formaldehyde.
Mandato in assistenza per la sostituzione della pompa. Ritornato con un grave danno per cui l'oscillatore era bloccato. A forza di insistere è stato sostituito. Ma ancora non funziona l'umidificatore. Con quello che costa....

Prodotti costosi ma fragili, assistenza fuori garanzia deludente

ITALIAN:
Abbiamo diversi prodotti Dyson:
Dyson V15 Detect Absolute,
Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde e
Dyson Airwrap.

L’unico prodotto che funziona costantemente bene è il Purifier (almeno così crediamo).

Tuttavia, abbiamo riscontrato problemi sia con l’Airwrap che con il V15 Detect. Entrambi hanno avuto problemi di aspirazione e si spegnevano dopo pochi secondi. L’Airwrap è stato sostituito una volta e da allora non ha più dato problemi.

Il V15 Detect, invece, è stato sostituito ben tre volte in garanzia per un problema simile e costante: dopo pochi secondi si spegneva. Durante il periodo di garanzia, il prodotto è stato sostituito senza problemi. Tuttavia, fuori garanzia, si è ripresentato lo stesso (o simile) problema e l’unica soluzione proposta è stata: o pagare 125 euro per la riparazione, oppure 198 euro per ricevere un nuovo motore. Entrambe le opzioni sono totalmente inaccettabili e non in linea con il Codice del Consumo italiano e le normative europee sulla durata attesa dei prodotti. Diciamolo chiaramente: un prodotto da quasi 900 euro dovrebbe durare più di circa mezzo anno, considerando che anche l’ultima sostituzione in garanzia è durata pochissimo.

Anche se i loro prodotti, quando funzionano, offrono buone prestazioni, non consiglio l’acquisto. Sono troppo fragili e la loro durata non è all’altezza del prezzo che si paga.

We have multiple Dyson products:
Dyson v15 detect absolute
Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde
Dyson Airwrap

The only constant good working product is the Purifier (at least we think) However we have had our issues with the Airwrap and the V15 Detect. Both had issues with the suction and switched off after few seconds. The Airwrap was replaced once and since no issues The V15 Detect however has been replaced during warranty 3 times with an issue that was constant similar. After a few seconds it turned off. Without any issues during warranty the item was replaced.

However outside warranty a similar or the same issue occurred again their solution either pay 125 euro they will repair it, or a 198 euro and they would sent a new engine. Both totally unacceptable and not inline with the Italian Consumer Code and the EU regulations on expected product lifespan. Let's face it a product of nearly 900 euro should have a life span of more then +-1/2 year considering the last replacement under warranty.

Even tho their products when they work are doing a great job I don't recommend their products as they are very fragile and their lifespan isn't what you should expect for the price you pay for the products.

NO PATIENCE LEFT - SURREAL ABSENCE OF ACTUAL CUSTOMER SERVICE

I do not know what to do. I purchased a Dyson from an online store which was delivered on March 6th. I used it twice (2 times!) and it died. I reached out to customer service online and spoke to a certain "Lovepreet" who - after 40 minutes on chat - told me (through an automated/innacurate language translator) that she would arrange for a repair and that she would send me a UPS label and I just had to drop it off. Instead of receiving a UPS label I was informed by UPS that they would be coming to my house to pick it up. Had I known this I never would agreed because I work full time and am never at home. UPS tries to pick up, of course no one is home. I reach out to Dyson customer service again and speak to a Mahit who tells me, after 40 minutes, that he will generate a UPS label for me which I will receive in 24 hours. I do not receive any such label. UPS tries to pick up again and of course I am not home. Dyson emails me to say get in touch with customer service. I get in touch with customer service AGAIN who once again tells me they will issue me a UPS label which will arrive in 24 hours. It does not. I receive another email from Dyson telling me to get in touch with their customer service. At this point it is an absolute JOKE. I have spent more time texting your south east asian chat center than I did using the hairdryer and neither was able to do the job. So please tell me HOW DO I GET OUT OF THIS LOOP AND GET THIS HAIRDRYER REPAIRED?!?? Is there someone who can actually help me instead of working off a script???

Dyson customer service is wonderful

Dyson customer service is wonderful. I had a Dyson before in Turkey and due to the wonderful experience with the products and the customer service i bought a new one in Italy (not knowing if the experience would also be good in Italy or not) when i moved here and i must say it's the same perfect customer experience when you have a problem. They solve everything super quickly and Dyson will be love brand for me for the rest of my life due to their wonderful problem handling. I love Dyson!

Broken Dyson not being repaired

My dyson airwrap began to stop functioning on the 16 Oct , it took me 2 days to convince them to pick it up and fix it ( as it is still under warranty). They received it last week Tuesday ( 22 Oct), and informed me on the 23 Oct that it had to be replaced due to a factory malfunction, I spoke directly to a lady and confirmed the model to swap mine with, that same day. I Re-contacted them the following days ( 25 Oct & 26 Oct) and they sent me a message saying I would receive my new model within 10 working days. I was happy. Why is it that I re-contacted them today, regarding the fact that I had received a confirmation whatsapp but no email. There response was " The device cannot be fixed. We can offer you a new colour.", HUH! I had already confirmed, and here I lay now sick because it is winter and I can't dry my hair.

I order online, and the currier lost the vacum. No response from dyson, I basically lost all my money and got no product.

I'm really pleased with how effective it is

The ordering system was smooth and easy. The item actually arrived before the scheduled date - a bonus. It's been working every night since it arrived and I'm really pleased with how effective it is in cooling my bedroom. I don't need to use the expensive aircon.

Absolutely disappointed with Dyson as a long time client

This is now my second time reviewing here.

I previously reviewed Dyson explaining my troubles and they provided a scripted response to my review to make it appear as if they are assisting me, however they aren't. I keep receiving the exact same response when I call into their general customer service number/chat.

They have absolutely no idea how long it will take for a part to come in for my vacuum and I have been waiting for a month and a half and am unable to use my vacuum as it's the only floor piece that came with my vacuum and it's what is broken.

When my husband called today we were told that they have no idea when the part will be back in stock and that it could take a month or even a year. This is absolutely unacceptable. I paid so much money for this vacuum and knowing about the warranty as I have been a loyal Dyson client for many years.

The most disturbing part is that Dyson's customer service greatly ranges based on the country that you live in. I lived in Canada for most of my life and for the few times that I needed to contact Dyson for a warranty they were extremely helpful and even offered to replace my vacuum once. Dyson Italy has absolutely ZERO solution for me other than for me to continue waiting despite the fact that they are flat out violating the EU laws when it comes to warranty fulfillment. My next steps will be to reach out to the EU authorities that govern warranties and explain the lack of assistance that I am receiving from Dyson.

To add to this issue, my warranty will soon be expired.

I am extremely frustrated and this has completely changed my view when it comes to purchasing products from Dyson. It's not worth it for the poor service that you will receive and the lack of warranty assistance should your product have a manufacturing defect just like mine did!
