After months of research, delighted with my decision.
I shopped around for months as I was replacing 14 windows, and eventually settled on DX Home Improvements due to the overwhelming positive reviews and the no pressure Sales after Gary visited my house. I have to say, the hours of research proved worthwhile. What an end result, I am over the moon with the overall finish. The team at DX have been top class, keeping me informed at every step of the way and nothing was too much trouble in terms of my various questions and concerns. From initial contact with Garry, from sales, Richard the surveyor, Claire, installations and Jim, the fitter, everything was 1st class and professional. All contact with company personnel was customer focused.
The windows are a quality product and the finish which Jim left was excellent.
I had several quotes and DX Home Improvements was very competitive and I would recommend them that you could place an order with confidence and that you would get value for money.

I can’t fault DX Home Improvements at all. The whole experience was a breeze!
After the final measure, and 10 days later, my new windows were being installed.
The end result being: I’m throughly impressed with the windows, and not forgetting the more than reasonable price!!!
Every one I dealt with, was friendly, helpful, and throughly professional.

Woeful!
Absolutely woeful company and, I would encourage you to consider other options available to you.
I had a full windows and doors installation to my home and from the outset, have (and continue to be) beset with issues. From wrong type of window installed, wrong size and warped ledges, broken glass unit in biggest window (broken pre installation, but installed anyway and tape applied corner to corner along the crack), warped glass in patio doors (granted replaced, but jemmy marks on frame left), front door that can’t be opened when sunny, leaking bedroom window when it rains, patio door that won’t open properly. Brackets sticking out past interior facing (but ‘siliconed’ around). Outrageous condensation. Yellow staining on white frames (difficult to remove). There will be more, but tbh I can’t remember all.
I have been extremely patient and spoken with members of this business from employee to director level - promised a lot in terms of remedy, but in the end have been delivered little; the company have failed to follow through on remedial commitments and now no longer respond to me, leaving me with a raft of problems. (I have a a good volume of emails back and fro with regard to issues, which I can post, should any of this review be disputed).
My next port of call is Trading Standards.
This wasn’t a budget installation and I considered other companies, before going for DX Home Inprovements - oh how I regret this decision! Please think carefully about whether this company (despite their assurances to the contrary), are capable of providing the quality of service you require.

Super happy with my door and windows.
Highly recommend this company and will most definitely use them again.

Not a great experience!
UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO DX'S REPLY (10th Sep 2025):
* Yes i agreed to go ahead with the build as I was assured the difference to the original plans would be minimal - it wasn't! It looked nothing like what I had ordered. More like a garden box than garden room! You also expected me to lift slabs and dig a trench in my garden for the electric cables, after being assured this would all be done for us. Something that the adjudicator agreed was not something a home owner should be asked to do. Note... I was paying you 20K for this project!! Absolutely nobody pays £20K for a small ugly box in their garden!!
* You only refunded my £10K deposit because you were instructed to - after the adjudicator from the Alternative Dispute Resolution ruled in my favour. You had no choice. You actually tried everything in your power to only partially refund me. You even resorted to blackmailing me over my negative reviews at one point!! You held on to my money for over 5 months - all through Christmas too.
* I also noticed a few weeks ago that you attempted to have this review removed from Trust Pilot claiming that it had been posted accidentally under the wrong company??! Very strange that you have now remembered me and replied accordingly.
* You haven't mentioned the damage to my property that was never fixed, or that you lied to Which? Trusted Trader about it saying that we refused you entry to the property!!
* Just an all round awful experience!
UPDATE: After contacting Which? Trusted Trader and taking part in an Alternative Dispute Resolution process, this matter has now been resolved and I have finally been refunded in full! On the plus side, most of the people we dealt with here seemed nice enough, however I think there's a clear lack of communication within the company and too many people dealing with the one project. They don't seem to cope very well when things go wrong.

This company has fantastic reviews, which was the primary reason we chose them but honestly, I have no idea why! Our experience with them has been (and continues to be) absolutely dreadful! Below is a brief summary of the key issues we've encountered...
I was quoted TWICE for a garden room of a specific size (4m x 3m), which they later admitted they do not actually offer, subsequently providing me with "the closest thing to it" without letting me know!!
Upon realising the discrepancy (the evening before the work commenced and after the materials had already ben delivered to our property), they assured me (and also my partner) during a phone call that the room would still measure 12m², just with slightly different dimensions. This was not the case, meaning that I was given false information (lied to) by the company director.
Important to note here: their customer sales brochure contains incorrect and misleading sizing information, which constitutes false advertising and also made it difficult to ascertain which size of room I was actually getting.
Once partially built, it became clear that the Garden Room was not only too small, but also the wrong style!
They caused significant damage to my property and have failed to repair it, despite promising to address the issue. We have now had to pay for another tradesman to come and fix our floorboards and brickwork that they damaged.
During the sales process, they committed to carrying out specific work that they they later admitted they do not actually provide. This resulted in us being asked to lift up concrete slabs and dig a trench in our garden by ourselves - which we were advised by sales would all be done for us. We were promised an "all inclusive job".
They have since offered to correct the style, but would not address the sizing issue and have refused to carry out the groundwork that was initially promised.
The garden room structure has now been removed and I have been left with 18 lovely ground screws sticking out my garden - making it unsafe for my children to play in.
I have paid £10,000 for all of this and have, of course, requested a refund. However, the company seems to be conveniently avoiding any discussion on the matter, and getting a response from them has been extremely difficult. This issue has been ongoing for two months now. I strongly urge you to avoid this company at all costs.

10/10 service from start to finish
Recently just had windows replaced from dx home improvements. The process was really professional, no pushy tactics which we’ve experienced in the past and no on the spot price offers, Ryan who went over everything made it all very clear what was being offered. The office staff kept us up to date with all communications. The fitters on the day were spot on, left the place spotless. Really impressed and will 100% use again.

Poor Aftercare
I wish I could have left a positive review here, but the aftercare provided by DX has been so poor that it has spoiled the entire experience. We had new windows installed on 5th Aug 2024, fitters were excellent and left the place spotless after they have finished.
Having a look at the glass, I could see that 3 panes had scratches on them. Considering the price paid I asked for these to be repaired, I was told they would replace all of these. This is when the problems started.
Once the majority of the bill had been paid, the impetus to do the work vanished and suddenly they weren’t so keen to keep in touch or get things booked in.
It’s now 1st October and the remedial work has still not been completed. 1st time the fitters turned up they could replace 2 panes but didn’t have the right size for the 3rd. 2nd attempt and they cancelled on the morning they were supposed to arrive. 3rd attempt and a fitter turned up out of the blue (no contact to advise they were planning to attend), took one look at the window and said no I don’t have the right size glass.
Whoever is running the office is clearly not doing a particularly good job, they just don’t care after the money has been paid.
I would’ve used this company again for other work but not after this debacle.
