Very positive experience, great products and workforce
Very positive experience. From start to finish the whole team has been excellent and great to deal with. The sales guy, surveyor, joiners, painter and office staff have all been very pleasant. Hard working and tidy in-house tradespeople and quality products. CR Smith is extremely good at keeping you up to date, communication has been brilliant which is where so many companies fall down. Very happy to recommend and what's more it's a Scottish company that does the majority of the product manufacturing in house.

The Joiners made an excellent job of remove the old door and replaced with the new one. They were professional, pleasant and when the job was finished everything was immaculate, we had nothing to do.Well done boys keep up the good work.

Authoritarian, policing, coercive salesman
The problem with this company is that they have sent me a policing, authoritarian salesman who invaded my house (Edinburgh) and was coercing me to buy windows, lying that there is a promotion (all of this nonsense is just a regular price) and coercing me to make an abrupt, under pressure, ad hoc decision on the same day.
I already wanted to buy windows. And I could clearly see they produce good windows. But the experience was so traumatic that I wrote this man I chose another company. Guess what followed?
He yelled at me in the email and tried to force me to chose CR Smith by invoking doubt and intimidation.
Fire men like these or do not send them to foreign female customers. I want to buy windows, not to be exposed to your societal problems.

Two windows were expertly replaced by Kieron and Billy from CR Smith. They are really nice, decent young men who couldn’t do any more to be helpful and did an exceptional job.
We now have two nice sparkling clean new windows and the boys took all the old windows and any mess away with them too. Can’t recommend CR Smith highly enough.

Kieran & Robbie were the window & door joiners. Stevie was the painter. Tam did the plastering. All work was carried out with good communication! The initial works caused a lot of dust due to having to remove the old sash window weight boxes. This was advised in advance! All works were completed to an excellent standard! Thank you CRSmith!! 👏

Replacement Handles.
We were happy with windows we had, but the handles were showing obvious signs of wear. As we had CR Smith replace two handles last year and were happy with the result, we arranged for all our other locking handles and tilt and turn handles to be replaced. Wayne and Connor arrived, replaced all the handles, no fuss, no mess and we are very pleased with the result. Excellent.

Good communication and quality product.
The company is great at communication. Honestly...there were too many calls to check how various parts of the process were going, which is actually quite a nice problem to have :-)
The doors themselves are very well made and the man who came out to assess and measure was clear and patient with us as he talkied through all the options with us.
Fitters were very good and communicated their arrival time well. They completed the job professionally and were polite and personable.
The only problem we had was the arranged date of installation was pushed back by the company early on then, a week before, was brought forward by them and then on the day, they cancelled and this had to be arranged for a week later as the doors were not ready! This was a quite inconvenient - we had made arrangements with our own work and we had scheduled time-off. We then had to do that again the following week.
However, everything went smoothly in the end and we are ultimately, very happy with the quality of the product and the service we received.
