Ordered a phone case and wallet for…
Ordered a phone case and wallet for Christmas, They sent the wallet with the wrong phone case. The phone case they sent was there much cheaper phone case for the wrong phone. Wrong case. Wrong phone. They took their time sending the correct case and it’s been about a month now and I finally got it today and the case is terrible. You can’t press the power button. The wallet doesn’t even fit on the case. Just absolutely terrible. Now I’m seeing that they will only do returns within 30 days and seeing as it’s been about 30 days since we started the process of actually getting the things we ordered, And it’s obviously been longer than 30 days. Now seeing the terrible reviews on here, Coupled with the fact that they don’t have a customer service phone number anywhere on the Internet, Seems like a scam company. $180 this phone case and wallet cost.
Check the return policy- you’re on the hook even if their mistake.
I have spent hundreds of dollars on products over the course of several years with Dango. I have several versions of wallets from them as well as other items. My most recent purchase was a wallet that their description claimed up to 10 cards. When I received the item I was surprised that I could only hold 3 cards per side. That’s a significantly different amount, especially since none of my cards have raised numbers and based on my past experience. After contacting customer service I was told to ship the items back at my expense and they would deduct the cost of shipping from my return. After another response I received an apology, I responded my appeal that I had spent several hundreds of dollars before and I was being penalized for their poor or even worse false advertising and received another response that they were sorry and would look at the product. In this environment with e-commerce there are certain costs I feel you should burden yourself with as a company, especially since I can order items directly from manufacturers in China who offer free returns to China, but even worse won’t burden themselves after hundreds of dollars of past purchases don’t affect your decision.

Non-existent customerservice
I usually never leave reviews, but to be frank this customer service is of outrageous quality, so it felt like my duty to put it out there. Out of my 308$ order. They forgot to ship 2 items summing up to: $100 excluding import tax. Import tax you ask? Yes! They did manage to put it on the item list for import tax, but managed to forget to include it in the actual package.
This seems quite a human mistake, and it can happen. However the true issue at hand is the complete lack of follow-up from customer service on their end as I tried to reach out upto 3 times to get the issue resolved. Following in them not responding whatsoever. What however got me flabbergasted is that I left a bad review on their website, because of the lack of service, and on the item they forgot to ship. It seems however my review is unable to be found. So here it is my review of my experience and the showing their lack of communication and resolving qualities. I must say I do like their aluminum products, however I cannot endorse this company for the complete lack of customer care, and fraudulent practices.

on Dec 15, 2024 but nothing is received (Jan 3). Try to cancel the order but they said they will ship the products. Fedex status: "Label Created" since Dec 20, 2024. Why charge us Fedex Priority International rate when you don't have the products ready?
Update (Jan 7, 2025): Package received.
Received a message from Charlie, the CEO of Dango, about the update on the delivery. The package arrived today. Although it was too late to be a holiday gift, the quality is good. Friendly reminder: About 20% of the total amount was charged for customs fees in Canada and the handling fee from FedEx.

Personally never again.
So i bought wallet for Christmas 2019, the bi fold one and quality of that thing is absolutely shocking. Metal is metal nothing wrong with it but leather is a joke, stitches are mostly ripped and the best part i don't even use it that much once or twice a day if even. I mean that thing costed me more then 100€ and 4 years later i need new one. When i asked about warranty the lifetime labeled one they said no warranty on wear and tear so basically is just scam.
Terrible Customer Service
I ordered a few things in early April this year (order 1341160). I paid extra for the items to arrive in 2-3 days, but they didn't arrive until 12 days later. They were only shipping the items from about a 1.5 hour drive from where I live in California, but they sent them over 2,000 miles away to Florida and then eventually back to me. Toward the end, I tried reaching out to them to cancel the order, but they didn't get back to me for a couple of days. About two hours after my items arrived, they finally reached out to me. Outside of their standard instructions of how to return the items, the only thing they said was "I apologize for the delay." I had to pay to ship the items back to them. Every email they sent me was half-hearted and robotic.

Order 1342272 placed on 04/10/2024. No status update until 04/17 after email sent to support. Received a tracking number from usps 9400111105500598875111 stating item received and acceptance pending. Customer service states it just a pre shipment and wont be shipped until restocked because they sold out. Customer service is either lacking in communication or understanding. Ive bought several items over the years from Dango with only one issue arising from pre order production delay and was resolved quickly. Im not sure what happened with customer service lately but it is severely lacking. If this is their new business model this may be my last purchase and I will advise any other Officers to steer clear.

The absolute best place I’ve ever shopped. I now own 4 different wallets all freaking awesome and unique, they’re absolutely genius belt and buckle. AirTag band and a pens. I love this place and I get so excited when they come out with new awesome stuff. Thanks dango you guys rock!

Have about $200 or so in Dango products... M1, Capsule and various accessories and adapters... VERY cool stuff.

Bad customer service
I ordered an M1 wallet from Europe online, but straight after paying, I realized I forgot to add a tether. I immediately sent a message to hold the order and add a tether with a separate charge to myself.
Instead of receiving any reaction, I received a message that my order would be shipped.
Again, I send Dango a message to hold the order and wait with shipment to add a tether.
Again, no reply and the shipment went through. Now received my wallet, incurring USD 30 FedEX expenses and further EU import duties.
This leaves me with the only possibility to seperately order the tether, again incurring substantial FedEX expenses etc.
Although I'm happy with my wallet, the whole proces leaves me very disappointed in that such an expensive and premium brand as Dango provided such bad customer service.
Hoping that there won't be any quality issues with my wallet in the future, that would be bad news with this level of customer support.
UPDATE: Got in touch with Charlie. He offered me an excellent solution beyond my expectations.

Customer service in awful- Beware do not do Business with Dango Wallets
Customer service in awful. Purchased an A wallet titanium. Dango had trouble manufacturing. I contacted them because I did receive any notice of where my wallet was. They responded manufacturing difficulties and would get it out to me soon. This took around a month. I received my wallet but after trying to use it I found it would not accommodate metal credit cards due to the design. I contacted the company. They responded I can send it back but I needed to pay for the return and they would also deduct the shipping from my refund. This is “their policy”. I wrote back a couple times urging them to make an exception because the wallet doesn’t work with metal credit cards(no where on their site does it say anything about compatibility). The company then stopped answering my emails and ignored me. I finally sent the wallet back at my expense. Now a week later and still haven’t seen my partial refund. I am assuming it will show on my card next month. Warning Do Not Do Business with these guys!!!!! They do not care about their customers. Did I mention I was a repeat customer too….stay away! Ignore Inc your customers is not a winning strategy.
Poor quality
Got a wallet and after 2 months it got already marks and the material peels off. Poor quality product and service. They actually want you to pay the shipping for sending a new one.

Poorly designed
Review of the dapper D01 wallet by a product designer with over 20 years experience:
The website claims the D01 wallet can hold up to 12 cards, in reality the absolute maximum is 6-7 (even less if your cards have embossed numbers) any more than this and the moveable plate and your cards are no longer retained by the aluminium frame and are simply held by the outer band meaning the cards and the plate can float up and down and come out.
Tried to seek a refund due to the item not being as described / not fit for purpose but they will only pay for the cost of the item not the postage. Be extra careful if buying in the UK as outbound postage is excessive at $28 and return postage will cost you around £13 making you £36 worse off.
Overall a product that has a lot of potential but has been poorly executed.
