Avoid This Company - Still No Refund!!
I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this company. I placed an order back in April for a 50th birthday present, only to be told months later, after chasing them many times, that the item (a watch costing me over £1300) was not in stock or even dispatched from Switzerland ( originally told 2 weeks until delivery then 3… then oh not sure what is happening etc etc). Extremely disappointing and my partner had no gift on his special day.
The order was cancelled on 18th June, and I was told a refund would be processed. Weeks later — still nothing. I emailed to chase this, but the company has completely ignored my message. No response, no refund, no accountability. They try and fob you off by saying they are a small company and therefore the refund could take up to 2 weeks. Totally unacceptable and we are now over this time period. Disregarding the CONSUMER RIGHTS ACT!
I’m now having to escalate this through my credit card provider and will be reporting the matter to Trading Standards.
Looking at the positive reviews on here, I can’t help but be sceptical — they seem dubious at best. I only wish I had read the reviews properly before placing my order, as it appears I’m not the only one having these issues.
Terrible experience from start to finish. I’d advise others to stay well clear!!!!

What a fantastic experience
What a fantastic experience. I made an enquiry about a bracelet I had seen online. I wanted to try on to see how it fit. Nothing was too much trouble. Poppy ensured that the bracelet was moved from Whitby to Ashbourne shop overnight for me to try. a follow up call to say it had arrived. Such a lovely experience in the shop. Needless to say I purchased. Customer service was absolutely outstanding from initial phone contact, movement of the item, follow up call and final visit to the shop. Everyone was brilliant. Clearly very well trained and knowledgeable people. I would recommend them without hesitation. Thank you. I am a very happy customer :)

The worst buying experience I’ve had
The worst buying experience I’ve had. I ordered a Garmin Fenix 8 back in mid April and am still waiting almost mid June. Today I asked for a full refund as I could have ordered this elsewhere and received it within 1-3 working days. I foolishly accepted apology and offer of a spare watch strap 3 weeks ago; however, it has only turned out to be a delaying tactic as the watch still hasn’t been dispatched!!
They can stick the watch where the sun don’t shine now as I want a full refund. This family run business along with Jura is a scam; fool if you order anything from them. Avoid at all cost!!
I do not normally write reviews and if I do it’s recognising good service. In this case the service provided by this company is dreadful, and the watch strap was a nice gesture but also a delaying tactic as the days and weeks slipped by. I wasn’t prepared to wait again so I cancelled my order, only to be offered a further £50 off to string it out again; it wasn’t worth the wait and another missed deadline. It’s a shame I had no choice but to award you 1 star as 0 stars is more appropriate. Keep your strap and your £50 and put it toward another watch that the next unfortunate person who didn’t read the reviews, doesn’t receive!

You have to give credit when it’s due and C W Sellors deserve to be credited with fantastic customer service on this occasion. I was looking for a gift, something small because the person the gift was for was emigrating. Hand crafted 9ct gold and moonstone earrings ticked all the boxes and were purchased. They were delivered beautifully boxed the very next day. You really can’t ask for better service. Thank you

My advice to other potential customers is please AVOID AVOID AVOID. I regret not reading reviews here first. Ms B, Sales Manager, stated in an email to me a few weeks ago “your feedback is incredibly valuable to us”. So here it is Ms B, my feedback for your family run business that “take great pride in providing the best possible experience for our customers”. CW Sellors are friendly ONLY at the point of sale. Problems start as soon as you want to return your order for a refund. When I returned my order, I was called a couple of days later by Ms H, a friendly sales person who wanted to make sure that I didn’t want another purchase, she offered a 25% discount on any purchase and asked me to think about it. I emailed back shortly after stating that I wanted my refund and was told this would be processed within 14 WORKING DAYS. Please be warned this is NOT from the point of receipt. It feels like they deliberately delay the returns process with a follow up sales call. Their own returns policy states “We aim to process returns the same working day but please allow up to 7-10 working days for this to be processed.” This is untrue in my experience. They not only break their own rules, but also UK law under The Consumer Contracts Regulations: Section 20 (15) “a refund must be given without undue delay and in any event within 14 days”. (Calendar days). Your right to a refund begins once the trader receives the returned item. When quoting this back to Ms H she replied that she was “honestly very surprised that I felt this way”. She’s surprised I wanted several hundred pounds back in a reasonable timeframe?.… shocking! I raised a formal complaint (never even received an acknowledgement), wrote to the Director, J R Sellors, (I know I’ll never hear back), reported them to Trading Standards and had to contact my credit card company for a chargeback. No customer should be forced into this situation. It’s been an awful experience. “Dear valued customer” - what a joke.

Amazing Customer Service
Ordered a Longines watch in the sale, which was showing as in stock, but unfortunately due to a processing error it was delayed for postage, so the lady I spoke to arranged for it to be hand delivered. Unfortunately, i had to send it back due to a small issue and bracelet resizing , and it was sent back to me within 3 days. I cannot fault the support , service and friendliness of the team. I wasn't given a delivery date and…
I wasn't given a delivery date and after chasing I was told simply "early May". As the watch was for a birthday present I cancelled the order and bought from a shop that held stock. I was told my funds should be returned within 7-10 days (I've no idea how they can take my money same day and yet take 7-10 days to return it) and 15 days on still no funds in my account.

Ordered my watch a Month ago for my…most disappointing
Ordered my watch a Month ago for my 50th wedding anniversary,m still no sight of it.
Despite promises of a call back on at least three occasions, nothing .
Despite Emails being sent , no one replies, promises of a phone call this morning just hasn’t happened.
I talk to them all I get is an apology, but no clear date when the watch will arrive, Emailed the distributor in this country , even worse , the man doesn’t reply to Emails , when I found his phone number , I was told he’d ring me back , so far had no call .
Maybe a visit to both by trading standards is in order .
Going by my experience, avoid like the plague .
I have an update, later in the day of writing this review , I had the importer of the watches phone me saying , he had actually taken over my purchase from the shop and I should have my watch today ( Tuesday ) or tomorrow by the latest , depending if it gets held up at customs.
If the watch turns up today or tomorrow would be great as it’s our wedding anniversary tomorrow, and that’s what the watch was for.
I’ll keep you posted .

Ordered a watch... Kept waiting a whole month for delivery...! Emailed several times for updates and got one response... Used chat room no response!
Still not received, called them to be told it's being sent today! How very convenient! For them!
Obviously I'll never use their services again, and can only hope I finally get the product I paid for over a month ago...
This company just runs a catalogue sales approach for watches. I would advise anyone who wants a watch, especially for a present as mine was to be, but totally missed that date... Just buy direct from the manufacturer online. Had I done that, it'd only have cost an extra £20.
The delivery would have happened in a timely manner, and a birthday promise met. As it was, Sellers ruined a birthday surprise, and have no problems avoiding emails or providing any real customer service.
Disgraceful behaviour.
