Shocking family business
Shocking family business, I would never give my money to them again. Recieved a faulty pair of Messika earrings, they accepted the return then decided not to refund. Currently having to go through disputes process with v25. My first time paying via finance and I would never do it again, you’re not covered or protected enough.
Looks like I have a long battle ahead of me to recieve a refund from this businesses.

Avoid at all costs!
Do not give your card details to this business for any online goods. I purchased an ex display Tag Heuer Carrera on 28th May gave my card details to their sales manager Ellis, promised me DPD next day delivery. When the watch had not arrived the next day as promised I contacted the company and cancelled the order and requested a refund. After two weeks still waiting I raised a dispute via my bank to recover the funds. Mid August and the bank contacted me to tell me that CW Sellors have refused the dispute and don’t have the my money. As I write this review it’s now early September and still no refund. I’ve passed the details to the national fraud crime agency along with the financial ombudsman to attempt to recover my funds. Avoid at all costs.

I did check reviews before purchasing and thought I’d give them the benefit of the doubt. Wish I’d listened to the bad reviews about this company. I purchased a necklace online 500+ stated in stock - delivery few days. I waited, it Didn’t arrive so I rang them to be told it’s not in stock and if I want it they could make it for me in store but they would need to source the gold and it would be an extra £200+ more. In disbelief , I asked why no one got in touch with me firstly if they knew that the day of my purchase instead of leaving me days thinking and waiting for my item which I bought in memory of my late mother. Total disregard to customers. No customer service what so ever. I personally feel like it was in stock and they just lied because I had used a discount code online which apparently was a “human error” made by them for having it on their website??? If it’s human error by yourselves then you should fulfil the order at the price I purchased it at and made my order up instead of forcing my hands to cancel and then having to wait 14 long days for my refund. Personally my gut says they lied to say it wasn’t in stock just so they didn’t sell it at the online price I purchased it at.
Me or my family will never do business with them. And I honestly hope this review helps at least one person I suggest you don’t give them a single penny

[It was a Certina DS+ set which was clearly shown on their website as coming with 2 straps and 3 watch cases]
I called them within 10 minutes of delivery to resolve the issue and the lady on the 'phone asked me to send photos and that they would only be able to begin investigating on Monday.
No apology, just asked me to send photographs so they can investigate.
Because of the poor attitude I have lost confidence in them and raised a complaint via PayPal.
=>update 1: they have emailed me refusing to cover the cost of returning the goods supplied "not as described".
Here is a copy of their response to my communications (feel the empathy):
"Good Morning,
Thank you for your time on the phone earlier.
Thank you for sending this through. As I have said, I am happy to look into this for you and I am trying to assist. These photos will help me locate the missing pieces so I can show our team. As I have advised, our dispatch team is not in until Monday. This means that if we locate the pieces we cannot physically ship them until Monday at least.
If you do not wish to keep the piece, you will need to return it to our address."

Completely fraud
Completely fraud! I ordered the watch case, but they don’t have any inventories. This store ordered to Scatola del Tempo after sales and requested me to wait for 2-3months but this item’s production was stopped after “7months” passed. However, they don’t refund money to me, proposed only color which is not attractive, I answered different color is better, and then stopped their email to me.
At the same time, this item “is” on their website even now!!!

Just want to keep your money as long as possible
I bought a watch (£6k+) that was sadly unsuitable (Panerai’s fault for becoming boring). I returned it and was offered a great deal on ‘anything in stock’. After waiting over 10 days from r a refund I mistakenly took up their offer but the two watches were also no good (one they sent the wrong watch, the other, well IWC have taken their eye off the ball as well it seems). So I hand delivered the watches back to CWSellors and 11 days later I’m still waiting for a refund despite me contacting them by email, live chat and WhatsApp. I’ve had exactly one reply to say ‘due to annual leave we’re a bit thin on the ground’. Simply not good enough. I will be contacting my card issuer tomorrow to do a chargeback- is this the kind of company/service that YOU want to deal with?

Dodgy and dishonest
Ordered and paid for a watch in April.
Informed watch had been ordered from UK importer
Delivery promised in 7-10 days
No watch, no updates
After 1 month - told that there was a delay from the importer
Month 2 - same story
Month 3 - contacted UK importer - they confirmed that no order had been placed, and that many others had made similar complaints - advised me to cancel the order
July 10th - cancelled order, requested refund, refund would be processed in ‘7-14 days’
Refund didn’t arrive, so chased after 19 days
Told that there had been an administrative error, and they would process the refund again
Contacted Trading Standards
Refund arrived August 4th
No explanation about why they had lied about placing the order, but apparently usually the only reason that a UK importer does not supply a dealer is if they have not paid for previous orders.
I wish I had read reviews on this site before ordering. Have compiled a detailed report for Trading Standards.
In short, a dishonest and unreliable retailer - hopefully this and other reviews will help others avoid a similar experience.

Garmin Smart Watches
This review relates to the purchase of 2 Garmin smart watches primarily, however my comments are based on the level and quality of customer service and communications. CW Sellors have previously provided good service, and good value, however based on my recent experience I will never use this jewellers again.
The initial purchase was conducted in the first week of May 2025. The deal was for £1150 and was for 2 Garmin watches. The watches were not in stock, and there were continued excuses as to Garmin having a supply issue and that there was a problem in fulfilling the order. There was initially a bit of goodwill from CW Sellors. However, by July there was no sign of the order being fulfilled, it was next to impossible to get through to any form of support other and communications in person ceased. The vendor simply hid behind Whatsapp.
I had lost all confidence in CW Sellors at this point. Having found another watch company/ Jewellers, I ordered the same watches, at a very similar price (within £50) and they were with me 2 days later.
After requesting a refund from CW Sellors, they kept to the 'up to 14 working days' mantra to return the £1150. From the point of processing, there was then a further week's delay from me getting my payment back. The customer support message was: 'but you can admit this is your only terrible experience and only because of a large back log with Garmin orders'
I could not believe that this was the level of rationale that was being used. This smacks of a lack of empathy and a lack of ability to service demand. My advice is to only order from this provider if something is in stock and there is a guarantee of delivery. I will never be using them again having spent thousands of £GBP with them previously.
Swarovski bracelet…
I purchased a beautiful bracelet from this store which I’m so happy with. The delivery was so prompt and had an email to check everything was ok with my purchase. I would happily purchase from this store again.

So many damning reviews for CE Sellors & its sister company Jura Watches. Massive warning flags are raised when 10% of customers rate them as 1 star.
Any potential customers reviewing via this site best take heed of the negative reviews. My experience was lengthy, distressing & unnecessary. My advice is avoid, look elsewhere - theres a reason why these reviews are here. If you do persist and do purchase from this company, particularly when ordering on line, then do be careful. Have someone with a camera film you opening the parcel & carefully examine the condition of the item. Report immediately any issues if you plan to return the item. I bought a £3500
Bremont Terra Nova watch which I argued was 2nd hand & I spent 5 months trying to prove it. I was lucky as they did send me there pre- despatch photos which clearly showed pre-despatch damage. Passing off damaged or 2nd hand items as new, mailing them in the hope that customers wouldnt complain & if they did then blamed the customer for the damage. Its clear that they have used this tactic before & looking at very recent reviews continue to do so.
They then have the temerity to challenge any honest TrustPilot reviews despite the clear evidence.
Buyer beware.

Order placed in Ashbourne 2 months later no delivery date
Order placed in Ashbourne shop start of May and paid for. Two months later no delivery date appalling communication. Chased by email and phone calls hardly any responses.
Eventually called to get a refund.
Product I had ordered was in stock at manufacturer so cannot understand why not even a delivery date could not be given. Makes me think Sellors owe their supplier money?

I bought a watch for my husband and was told that it was out of stock, but coming soon. I waited weeks, chased and was told delivery imminent. This was a lie.
I cancelled my order and was told my card would be refunded within 10 working days. This was another lie.
I eventually bought the watch directly from the manufacturer. When I asked about supply problems they explained that C W Sellors’ account was on hold due to unpaid invoices.
I’m now pursuing a refund via Barclaycard.
Avoid these rogues!

Ordered a watch for an 18th Birthday present, ordered on the 18th June 25, after multiple calls its now the 21st July and still no watch. When asked why payment is taken with delivery before 1030am offered when they don't have the watch in stock was told "it does say to check with supplier regarding orders" after you order and pay. Delays with orders being delivered from the supplier, an order arrived from the supplier and quote "a few line items were missing from the order" amazingly mine. Finally got hold of the customer care team to request a refund to my card. Will wait and see how long it takes to get my refund. Hopefully not as long as it has taken so far.

Overall appalling service
Overall appalling service, non existent communication - had to cancel the product then promised refund in 10 to 14 days, on day 10 check with them about refund they promise no later than 10am on the 15th day and low and behold no refund. When I call magically they process the refund. The customer care team are a joke and one of them shouts at you if you don agree with her!! delightful. Would give no stars if possible.

I bought and paid for a watch but it never arrived….
I have terminal cancer, nothing can be done but at least it allows me to get my affairs in good order.
Recently I decided to pass on an unused Omega to my son in law, he loves watches and I also decided to pass on a few other Seikos to him and to buy two other Seikos.
One of existing Seikos needed a repair and, although quite old, Seiko UK pulled out all the stops and managed to repair it beautifully, reducing their normal repair time from 4 weeks to 2 days in view of the circumstances, which was really nice of them.
They also managed to get me a “Gene Kranz” watch and send it to me to pass to him in due course. This arrived in quick time, the actual day for its release 1/7/2025 and it came that day. Well done Seiko.
Anyway, I wanted to buy him a new Seiko Pogue watch and saw that Seiko UK had some advertised but before I ordered I checked a few websites and saw the same watch advertised at, my fairly local, CW Sellors jewellers. I often pass one of their stores in Derbyshire and thought they deserve the business and placed an order. It initially didn’t go smoothly and they replied that I hadn’t paid for the order online which was strange given that their email had information which could only have been available if the payment had actually taken place but despite reservations, I made the payment again and my order was accepted.This time I was advised re a fairly long delay in delivery which wouldn’t have been acceptable to me given the circumstances but the order had already been placed so I thought I’d try an stick with CW Sellors. I thought I could trust them. The last date I got which suggested a delivery may be imminent was 14th JULY and so I waited another 18 or so days.
On the 14th, I spoke with rep of Sellors first thing. She said they get their Seiko watches from Japan and not from Seiko UK. I was surprised given the size of Seiko UK but she said she’d check on its whereabouts and call back, which she did. The watch had apparently been ordered by Sellors from Japan and was delayed further. Again, I may not be here to receive the watch and so I suggested cancellation. Their rep said company policy was 10 to 14 working days and I suggested not great in view of my health and could I speak with the owners of CW Sellors to try for an earlier refund but was told they don’t speak with customers.
Rep did send a cancellation email and I said surely, in the circumstances, the person who handles payments at their end could progress an earlier payment given that I may not be around to receive the payment but rep said she would phone them but couldn’t promise any betterment in dates.
When Rep called back the number was shown as allocated to Baltic Amber Bracelets of Ashbourne…..
So I don’t have the watch to pass on to my son in law, I don’t have a refund which I could use to buy from another retailer, I have no confidence that my refund will appear in 10 to 14 working days given that whomsoever I’m speaking with didn’t move to advise to likely delays before my call today.
I also spoke with Seiko UK earlier today, they say they have CW Sellors on their authorised list of retailers and would not expect any such company to deal with Seiko in Japan for their wholesale purchases.
Despite speaking with Rep, I don’t know if I’m dealing with CW Sellors or Amber Bracelets or another company. Remember, I trusted CW Sellors prior to this incident because I’ve seen so many of their Derbyshire shops.
Rep hasn’t yet called me back with a decision on an earlier refund. I might have thought that a fairly small company could simply refund onto the card involved but company policy prevents.
Lastly, my knowledge of CW Sellors shops caused me to trust them online. Nice shops, nice stock and nothing flagging up alarm bells.
Rep thought that the watch might be in short supply but when I spoke with Seiko UK they said they had 6 such watches in stock at their London store.
Oh well, I should have checked out Trustpilot but didn’t think it was necessary given my local knowledge but I should have done. Worryingly, there are several CW Sellors with entries on Trustpilot. Some of the comments and scores are awful, not at all what I would have expected from a clean cut and pleasant Derby/ midlands based company. I’m surprised that the replies from alleged company representatives are allowed to remain, the staff normally seem more pleasant and attentive. For example, some people have reported three month delays and no satisfactory explanations have been forthcoming from staff. It all seems a bit weird that the genuine CW Sellors name is being besmirched and no one is moving to change things to reflect a longstanding decent company.
I cannot fathom why rep would be buying from Seiko Japan when Seiko UK wouldn’t allow that and Seiko UK have some in stock …Nothing further from CWSellors Rep !!!! Sums the situation up really.
Unreliable company
Ordered watch February, not informed there would be a wait, had to chase up regularly (every 2-4 weeks) repeatedly told of distribution error on their part? No elaboration. Although staff were polite & apologetic I was Never given positive replies as to whether watch could be located, just that it would take few more weeks.
The watch cost £760.
The watch is available from other reputable stores so why they couldn’t obtain it who knows?
I chose this company as there was 15% discount offered at the time. Checked site & felt reassured was reputable company & with store not far away.
Wanted the watch for special birthday in may, told no definite news on estimated arrival of watch. At this point spoke to them saying I’d been patient enough & if they couldn’t get my watch within 2 weeks I wanted a refund.
2 weeks later asked for refund, told it would take 14 working days to process (why?????)
Now July, exceeded the 14 days & still no refund!
Basically they have had my money for 5 months with no reassurance of ever getting my watch.
Steer clear if you are wanting to purchase a watch from this store especially if it needs ordering!
* Update to the reply: my refund has finally been received today! July 14th way passed the advised time & definitely not the 10th.
Why the process needs to take 14 working days I really don’t understand apart from the fact they want to hold on to your money longer! It’s a click of a button for goodness sake.
Especially as they’ve taken 5 months ‘trying’ to locate a watch I have ordered from another jewellers today & which has already been despatched & I will receive it tomorrow. Wish I’d cancelled my order sooner to save all this inconvenience & disappointment.
