Got new perfume for my girlfriend
There were a lot of various options, but most of all I liked Coco Mademoiselle. The flavour lasts long, my girlfriend liked it very much. Nonetheless, I’d like to talk about something disappointing. Their in-store service can feel a bit distant, like you have to earn attention. I think they should teach their staff how exactly to serve clients, will check it.

I purchased a Chanel bag, expecting high quality and craftsmanship.
However, after just three months of use, I've noticed that the leather is starting to deteriorate.
I took it to a professional bag repair shop in Monaco and was informed that the leather is likely fake lambskin, which is disappointing for a luxury brand like Chanel.
When I reached out to Chanel for assistance, they refused to help with the issue. It's disheartening to feel like I’ve invested in a product that doesn’t meet the brand's esteemed reputation. Unfortunately, no one seems willing to repair this bag, leaving me feeling frustrated and unsatisfied with my purchase.
Appalling experience
Appalling experience. Ordered a gift for a birthday, received a message to say that it could not be delivered despite someone working at home the whole day. Birthday ruined. Now trying to track the bloody thing to a pick up point!!! The customer service number for Chanel.is inoperative. The website seems to be malfunctioning. Disgusted at having to spend time on, after spending quite a bit of dollar with,Chanel. What is going on? Coco must be spinning in that grave if this is how you are showing up in 2025.
Unprofessional Service at Chanel Battersea Power Station
I have visited the Chanel boutique at Battersea several times, and unfortunately my experience has been consistently disappointing when one particular staff member is present. Instead of offering the level of professionalism, courtesy, and refinement expected from a luxury brand such as Chanel, this staff member often argues with customers, makes dismissive comments, and creates an unwelcoming atmosphere.
On one occasion, I was told I was “not in the database,” which was both inaccurate and unprofessional. Rather than assisting with care and discretion, the approach felt undermining and confrontational. For a brand that represents exclusivity and exceptional service, this behavior is simply unacceptable.
It reflects a lack of proper training, supervision, and customer-care standards. Chanel customers expect – and deserve – a consistently respectful, polished, and helpful experience, not arguments or dismissive treatment.
I truly hope management addresses this issue and ensures staff are properly trained to uphold the standards of the Chanel brand.
What a disappointment
What a disappointment! I called two Chanel numbers, 50 Bloor W Toronto and their 888 number because I needed to talk to person about how best to buy Chanel Blu for my son, who lives in the UK. No response.
I got a call from 581-925-1665, instructing me to write an email. When I called back, I got VM and haven't heard back.
And this is a luxury brand?
Disappointed with Chanel quality
I purchased a Chanel bag from Selfridges in June 2024. After using it only four times (and keeping it in excellent condition), the hardware has already discoloured.
This is unacceptable for a luxury brand at this price point. I expected much higher quality and durability from Chanel. Very disappointing experience. I am trying to contact them and no one is following up.

Stylo ombre et contour
The contour stick breaks immediately in the lower part, and is loose when you utilize it. One fell of in my washing basin. The other two can barely be used, due to the loose parts. Worst thing I gave two away as presents, of course my friends experienced the same. 360 $ spent on cheap fabrications
Huda - customer service above and beyond
Huda at Chanel in Frasers, Buchanan Street, Glasgow went above and beyond in assisting my wife who was experiencing a catastrophic breakdown of the new Dior foundation she had gone out wearing.
Huda kindly removed it and applied fresh Chanel make up, recommending a new foundation and blusher which my wife purchased and is very pleased with

Bought a box of Chanel No 5 mini refills in Oct. Just gone to grab one from the box and it’s empty. Absolutely fuming!
Extremely poor customer service response
Received a meaningless one line template response along the lines of "you chose the right product" in response to my query - incredibly disappointing and frankly lazy from Chanel.
Don't order online - they use DPD who are useless
Delivery of some make up never happened. Chanel use DPD for deliveries. DPD came to my house three times and did not ring the bell to leave the item. I was in all three times. They took a picture of my front door and emailed it to me. Not sure why. They won't leave the parcel anywhere despite it being in a safe place. The parcel could fit through my letter box so not sure why that wasn't tried. Shocking service. Ended up cancelling the order and ordering from a website that can deliver on time and reliably.
Luxury brand with worst customer…
Luxury brand with worst customer “service”! I bought a sunglass online, put it on for 3 seconds and decided to return. I received a delivery confirmation of my returning. After a few weeks I didn’t receive my money. That’s where the shit started. After calling the customer service I found out my package was declined, but they could tell a reason, just that it’s according to their terms. Even I didn’t received my package mysteriously days after my call I received the package retour. The box was dirt and open and not how I have returned it. (I am a e commerce owner myself and I know him important returning is.
After plenty of calls they found a scratch on the glass. The scratch would have been on it already when I received it or someone did it when opening after I returned it. But in the end it’s my problem and what frustrates me the most is they are not even caring about this. It’s not about the €400, it’s about the experience. And that’s why we will never buy anything from Chanel anymore!

Chanel products may remain iconic, but their customer service does not live up to the reputation - because luxury should include not just the product but the entire customer experience.
Very disappointed
Very disappointed. I live in London and I have ordered the foundation 12 days ahead for an event, from their UK site, and there is no way I can get my hands on the parcel.
From the beginning, the delivery had an "Unexpected issue", and DPD is sending this back to Chanel without an attempt for delivery.
I am assuming this is a logistics contract issue.
In the meantime, I have no e-mail address or phone number from the Chanel Customer Service to request another urgent delivery through another company or a cancellation of the order and a refund.
I will never order online from them again.

One star is more than generous for Chanel customer services, they are an absolute joke! For a big brand with big brand prices they are a complete failure.
I purchased a serum in mist, which after a few uses became faulty.
I have to travel to the next biggest city for the Chanel counter, which is 30 minutes drive & an effort.
I assumed that I would just take the faulty product back and they would just give me a replacement. Oh no, it had to be sent back to the company.
At a cost to me, I sent back the product. An email arrived telling me that the product was out of stock & that a credit was put on my account for £72.00.
When I got a chance I drove back to the store to get my replacement product.
Not possible I was told, you need to choose your replacement and call the company to order.
Eventually, with my busy schedule, I was able to order a replacement product with an additional payment of £27.00. I did this by bank transfer as I was told to do. Absolutely nothing back, no email confirmation whatsoever!
I called Chanel yesterday and spoke to an advisor. She told me to send proof, which I immediately emailed, with that she told me she would investigate and call me back. Nothing!
Another day has passed, no call, no confirmation, nothing!
This isn’t the first spray Chanel product that I’ve had issues with. I am sure if it wasn’t ordered through John Lewis (who were excellent) the same issue would have occurred.
Surely with faulty products, the company should rectify immediately, shouldn’t they?
Not Chanel it seems! Maybe they don’t want the custom?
An A list brand with Z list care for their customers… it has certainly given me doubts about future purchases.
Chanel chance Eau SPLENDIDE WOULD NOT RECOMEND

I have purchased Chanel chance EAU SPLENDIDE EAU DE PERFUM and must admit I'm shocked how little it lasts . Its a beautiful scent however it doesn't last at all .I have contacted customer service and there is nothing they can really do . When you pay top price for high end products you should receive the quality in return .

I bought a Chanel lippstick that just fell apart after one week. I do not get a refund (50 euro!) because I threw away the original box it was in.
