One star is more than generous for…

One star is more than generous for Chanel customer services, they are an absolute joke! For a big brand with big brand prices they are a complete failure.
I purchased a serum in mist, which after a few uses became faulty.
I have to travel to the next biggest city for the Chanel counter, which is 30 minutes drive & an effort.
I assumed that I would just take the faulty product back and they would just give me a replacement. Oh no, it had to be sent back to the company.
At a cost to me, I sent back the product. An email arrived telling me that the product was out of stock & that a credit was put on my account for £72.00.
When I got a chance I drove back to the store to get my replacement product.
Not possible I was told, you need to choose your replacement and call the company to order.
Eventually, with my busy schedule, I was able to order a replacement product with an additional payment of £27.00. I did this by bank transfer as I was told to do. Absolutely nothing back, no email confirmation whatsoever!
I called Chanel yesterday and spoke to an advisor. She told me to send proof, which I immediately emailed, with that she told me she would investigate and call me back. Nothing!
Another day has passed, no call, no confirmation, nothing!
This isn’t the first spray Chanel product that I’ve had issues with. I am sure if it wasn’t ordered through John Lewis (who were excellent) the same issue would have occurred.
Surely with faulty products, the company should rectify immediately, shouldn’t they?
Not Chanel it seems! Maybe they don’t want the custom?
An A list brand with Z list care for their customers… it has certainly given me doubts about future purchases.
