SquareTrade are a bunch of inept liars who don't want to honor their word.

Squaretrade/Allstate are are dishonest people who do not want to honor their agreements or plans and told me that my currently active plan is no longer valid and that I was refunded for an eBay item that was never refunded. They cancelled my claim and I've called multiple times to explain that a return request was started on eBay, but it was cancelled and there was no refund. It's in regards to a Lenovo laptop that has malfunctioned, went back to Lenovo under a now expired warranty, and I was looking having the warranty honored through the eBay description, but Squaretrade appears to be horribly incompetent or at the least unwilling to honor the insurance plan for my eBay item. I think these type of dishonest tactics are part and parcel of insurance companies in general. These lying insurance companies want the money for the insurance plans, but they don't actually want to do anything when it comes to something breaking. Don't recommend squaretrade/allstate insurance plans on eBay.

Review of Support Lenovo

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Garbage products, not recommended, find a different laptop manufacturer

Lenovo has plummeted in terms of quality, service, and reliability. I've owned dozens of Lenovo devices and these newer systems are just unreliable garbage. I sent my X1 Nano back for a repair and they replaced a motherboard and the keyboard. It broke less than 6 weeks later and now it has a keyboard that no longer functions, a hard drive that is failing, and a constant beeping noise coming from the speakers meaning something isn't working right. And their "premier support" person (Dennis G.) told me he can't do anything for me now since I'm about a month out of Lenovo's "premier" warranty and it would cost $109 for another support ticket. What a sham and the Lenovo brand just stinks now. I do have a different warranty through an eBay seller, but I intend to remove my data from the system as soon as possible and sell this piece of junk laptop to someone else AS IS. Lenovo's quality is in the gutter and they are no longer a recommended or reliable laptop manufacturer and they also do not stand behind their repairs or products.

Review of ID.me

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Verification process stinks! Horrible customer service

ID.me is awful and their verification is a massive pain. Took me 6 years and about 20 tries to get verified. I gave up multiple times. Customer service is awful. ID.ME couldn't verify my VoIP number at first (which they ended up doing years later even though they say they don't support VoIP lines), or a cell phone number, then they said my ID photo had too much glare, then it was a problem with my web cam and the video chat. Since when did having to take off my glasses, cap, and partake in video chats become a thing to access my tax records? This company is a joke and does nothing to protect people's data. A massive waste of time and completely unfair to people trying to access their records. The government more than likely hired ID.ME intentionally to prohibit access and keep people's records hidden from them as the government continues in it's quest for non-transparency.
