If I could give no stars to leave this review I would.
Sales team are good, promise you the world. Aftercare is diabolical and we were completely mis sold the badly titled “Platinum warranty” with A1 warranties! Advise do not buy the warranty.
Sold a Discovery Sport in Sept 24, by January the air con had packed in, we put this down to it needing re-gassing but as it was winter didn’t bother till May. Took it to be re-gassed , stopped working after an hour, garage ran tests and no leak, cabin smelt of air con every time you turned it on. So rang warranty company.
No garage local to us will work with A1 warranties (says it all! ) rang them and asked them to recommend a garage as local to us as possible who they have worked with before, nearest was 40 mins away! Took it there over a week ago they diagnosed the Compressor / evaporator had mechanically failed. A part covered under our Platinum warranty. Took warranty company 3 days to then say they would only pay £950 of a £1800 repair! This is because they will only pay labour up to £50 a hour, they don’t tell you that when they sell you the £1600 warranty!
Not worth the paper it’s written on that warranty.
Would never buy from Hippo again or use A1 Warranties.

Ordered on 18/04 . Booked delivery for 09/05/2025 only to be told last week that my items weren’t coming as one of those was out of stock. Was told to cancel the out of stock item and then my other items would be despatched. Now nearly a week later I’ve heard nothing , tracked my order still says waiting to be processed!!!!! This is a joke. I was told I would get a message beginning of this week to book delivery heard nothing. I have tried ringing this week on several occasions and after over 30 minutes of waiting I get cut off!
Won’t be ordering from dusk again!

Review of Toshiba
If I could give it 0 stars I would! Worst TV ever. Closes all apps down mid watch. Got on chat to Toshiba greeted by a rude employee that told me it was because we had it connected to WiFi and not Ethernet! What a load of rubbish. Decided to try the Ethernet which is currently hanging from tv as WiFi box is other side of room and apps are still just closing down while watching. Told to send a what’s app with it happening . That was Saturday it’s now Thursday and I still haven’t had any response from them. Would never buy Toshiba again!

Will never order from again. Ordered trainers for my daughter for Christmas. Parcel never arrived , took 8 days of back and forth to get a refund. Re-ordered the trainers to be delivered to store only to check 7 days later where they were again and the order has been cancelled as temporary out of stock despite taking my money, 8 days later still waiting for the pending transaction to go back into my account!

Only getting one star because that’s all I could leave a review with otherwise it would be zero! Carpet fitted, paid over £800. One day later tufts, pulls showed all over the carpet. Spoke to them and sent someone out, even he said it was a mess and he wouldn’t have it in his home, apparently sent report to manufacturer said there wasn’t an issue , I bought the carpet from Wilson’s not the manufacturer and they won’t do anything , I am now left with an absolute mess of a carpet in my living room, would never ever use again!!!!

Appalling customer service! Went into store in May to order our corner sofa, told the sales rep exactly what we wanted and which side it should be on, wanted to go home and double check measurements so he added to our basket with our email, measured and was all fine so we clicked check out stupidly presuming the sales rep had ordered the correct sofa, WE WERE WRONG! They attempted delivery yesterday with it the wrong way, rang Sofology only to be greeted by a rude and patronising advisor who told us it was out fault for not checking, Yes we know that now but you trust the sales advisor don't you! Shouldnt have to do their job for them thats what they are paid for.
The wont do anything without us paying a further £900! We refused delivery. Would never buy from Sofology again! Word to the wise CHECK EVERYTHING!
