This complaint is regarding order #289372

This complaint is regarding order # 289372. I paid $247 USD. I wrote a complaint on this platform that, of the 4 items ordered 2 were wrong size and 1 item never arrived. "Summer" from Soolinen responded on this platform (her response is there on this platform for everyone to see) saying they have a "return for no reason" policy and they would cover the shipping fee for returned merchandise. Its a lie !!!
After my complaint on Trust pilot, team Soolinen responded to my complaint by email saying they can give me 30% value in the form of gift card or I will have to ship the items back at my expense but do not want me shipping back by any reputed,major companies like FedEx,UPS, DHL but to send it back by a cheap shipper and to undervalue the pkg as $10 so they have to pay any duty. They expect me to send it back by the cheapest shipper, which doesnt guarantee it'll reach them, and they also say if it doesnt reach them or they end up paying duty, I dont get my return. I want to expose this company bcos "Summer" who responded on this platform is lying when he/she says they have a "return for no reason" police. UNTRUE ! Summer also said they cover the return shipping fee. Another lie. And they dont offer 100 % refund only 30% back in the form of a gift card. Buyers beware!

The final solution you negotiated with our customer service was to receive a $74 gift card.
We can accept your return and will process the corresponding refund upon receipt.
If we verify that the issue is ours, we will also cover the return shipping costs.

In addition, your last product has arrived at Canadian customs.

My order # 289372

Im updating my complaint bcos i want everyone reading to know even tho Soolinen responded to my complaint below that they "accept return for no reason with free shipping for return items". Thats not true. After my complaint below on Trustpilot, Soolinen reached out to me via email but not willing to give me a full refund even tho my reason was wrong size. So Soolinen team pls stop misleading customers on this platform. U for not give refund for no reason, nor do u give refund for a reason like wrong size.


My order # 289372. I paid $247 USD. My order was received Aug 25, 3025
I ordered 4 items in total. 2 items were wrong size, 1 item missing, 1 item was ok. I wrote to the their customer support, a couple of days ago. No response. I want to return the 2 items that were wrong size sent back with free shipping for a full refund like their policy states but I need them to respond to my email regarding how to send the 2 items back with free shipping and how do I get my full refund. I also want to cancel the item that never arrived. It probably will be the wrong size too so I dont want to bother with it. Buyers beware the sizes are not acc to their measurement chart and none of the pieces come with a size lable.

If you find item received not as described,Wrong color size, fabric or pattern.
Please contact us email: sales@soolinen.com for a return or exchange. We will cover the shipping fee.

Horrible Customer Service

On Oct 27th we placed an order for 3 outdoor wall fixtures. Order # 1484843. After placing the order, I called Residence Supply and requested they not split the order while sending, bcos I do not want to have to pay for the Electrician to come twice. I said I was willing to wait as long as it took but I wanted bother orders to arrive together. The girl said she would make a note of it. But she didn't follow thro. I received the 2 Helios lights by courier but I'm told the Alpine wall light was sent by Canada Post and is stuck in transit. I've been given various delivery dates by "Faith" Nov 27th then Dec 3rd but so far it hasn't been delivered. I called Faith 3 days ago and told her I need to speak to her manager bcos I need to cancel this order as christmas is approaching and we plan to go overseas. I explained when i placed the order I was expecting it to be delivered along with my first order by Courier and not be sent by Canada post knowing there us a strike going on. I'm fed up talking to "Faith" and the "Receptionist" who put me on hold saying they will get me a manager but after 1/2 hr of holding dont even have the courtesy to tell me all their managers are busy. I call back and then they tell me their managers are all busy, 2 days in a row I have called and been put on hold and both days ALL their managers are busy. I'm told I'll get a call back from a manager but that hasn't happened either. Very frustrating customer service. I am someone who us used to only writing good reviews but Faith and your Receptionist has left me no choice. I'm using this platform to get answers. I would suggest anyone ordering from Residence Supply to check and make sure your order is not given to Canada Post knowing their on strike.

To clarify, your order was placed before Canada Post announced their strike, and unfortunately, we had no control over the delays that occurred once the package was in their network. While we do our best to ensure timely delivery, shipping delays due to external factors like strikes are beyond our control. I understand how frustrating this must be, especially with the holidays approaching.

Regarding your request to have all items shipped together, I sincerely apologize if this was not handled properly on our end. I will review this with the team to ensure clearer communication and proper follow-through in the future.

I also want to acknowledge the difficulty you’ve had trying to reach us and the delays in follow-up. This is not the level of service we strive to provide, and I will address this internally to prevent similar issues moving forward.

That said, I’d like to work with you to resolve this matter as quickly as possible. Buyer be aware

I bought a purple asymmetrical shirt. I had the option to choose a size so I chose “extra small”. When I received it, it seemed very big, so I thought they sent me the wrong size, so I checked the collar and to my surprise found no size marked anywhere on the shirt. I’m guessing it’s a “ free size, so why trick us in to believing we can choose a size? Very unfair ! Also the Color is not as vibrant as the website pic. So buyers be aware!
