Customer service....NIL points!

Customer service....NIL points!, asked for a Esim for a new phone a week ago via Tesco chat, while waiting for the Eim -my physical sim functionality has been stopped, contacted Tesco mobile via phone number, said no record of any Esim order, so made a second attempt to order another Esim with customer service advisor- said a QR code will arrive in 3 working days via email, just recieved an update email from Tesco to say my physical sim will arrive in the post soon??? Not sure if the Tesco advisers actually know what there doing. Can somene please advise me how do I get an Esim from Tesco as my physical sim is disconnected. Also Tesco can you please role out some training to your team, as pleasant as they are. Many Thanks

Updated 07/03/2025 Took the afternoon off for a new meter…

Took the afternoon off work for a new electric meter install at EDF request, according to EDF they are switching off the radio read signal on my perfectly functional meter. So will not be able to take remote reads. Any way.
No one turned up to perform the task.
Imagine, receiving repeat text messages to remind you of the appointment, also mentioning that if you're not in for the install, You would be fined £30.

Tried ringing EDF customer service, changed their online listed number. Finally got the latest number to find all of the staff are in training, All of them? You would expect me maybe staggered training to ensure someone can answer the phone.

EDF has given me a good will gesture of £30. Thank you.
I scheduled another meter appointment between 16:00 & 20:00hrs. As they offered £150 to book an appointment. This was installed 2 weeks ago. However it's not commissioned. So it's only reading single day rate, not night rate as my last meter did. This is now costing me alot more per unit. So the meter isn't dual rate and not very smart either. I currently cannot use the Smart hub also missing out on free electricity Sundays as the meter is still not commisioned??

Update 20/03/2025.
Meter engineer attended 19/03/2025 to finally ( what I thought) commision the meter. The engineer did alot of faffing around and left some instructions of how to maually read the "Not so smart meter".Just checked it 24hrs later, Found meter still not recording Rate 2 (Night rate) just Rate 1, also Smart meter still not communicting to smart hub. Looks like I'm back to square one,
I received a text form Edf today ( 20/03/2025) to say sorry for not attending today??

Not sure if or what EDF are going to do, maybe try for another Smart meter?
Update, EDF got in touch and between us we got a functioning smart meter. The customer service team really did make the effort. Thank you

How many final bills??

How many final bills? paid off 3 of them, over a year has past now they comeback wanting another £1000. This is nothing less than theft, now looks like they have taken over £1100 incorrectly too, now they want another £1000. To make matters worse you can only make contact via a chat messenger. Take my advice, do not deal with this dodgy organisation. They will steal from you and deny that it happened, we have bank statements with their reference numbers, not sure what else I can do, do I phone the police or waste my time with smalls claim court. Imagine leaving a supplier in April '23 you get billed a final bill in April '23 (paid), another Final Bill via post August '23 for £538.44 (paid) then another final bill via post in October '23 for £638.29 (paid) Then fast forward to May 2024 we get yet another final bill for £977.59 (estimated usage in April 2023). This situation is absolutely ridiculous, Can anyone help with this ??
I will attempt to sort it with BGlite one more time.

I'd say I've been a good customer, Shame Aliexpress do not treat you as one.

I'd say I've been a good cutomer with Aliexpress, spent a lot of money on their Platform.
In December'23 I purchased a Ulefone 18T Ultra for £366, had it 4 months and it decided not to turn on, contacted Ulefone through Aliexpress messenger and Ulefone told me to send it back to them for a replacement to send back to me. Sent the phone back-postage to China £24 tracked. Heard nothing from Ulefone. So thought i would try Aliexpress customer service, The representative, said not to worry at all as "Aliexpress has got your back" . Aliexpress asked for video of the fault, which I sent.( Luckily I had taken 2 videos one clearly showing the small red light of doom on the phone screen)
I then got an email today from Aliexpress to say
"Thank you for contacting AliExpress regarding order 8181592580173017.

We cannot identify the problem you described from your evidence. So far your request will be closed for now. We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused to you"

So thats Aliexpress Customer care basically washing their hands of the issue.
I have followed Ulefone and Aliexpress instructions and got nowhere, I'm £366 + £24 postage out of pocket, with no phone.
I'm actually more disapointed with Aliexpress as I have spent £1000's with them and they have told me not to worry, when in reality, Aliexpress have not "Got your back" and they do not care at All. I will be putting a complaint in with Paypal. My advice to anyone thinking of using Aliexpress. Do not purchase any item over £50 and do not have any expectations when it comes to any after sales care when you have an issue.
That way you will save any disapointment, more importantly you'll save your hard earned money.
Update July 2024, Chinese customs have rejected the import of the phone back to Ulefone beginning of June and sending it back to me, 6 weeks have past since leaving customs. Still no sign of the faulty phone. couple of things to note. Firstly, the Chinese regeme are happy to flood the world with products, yet will not accept returned imports. secondly, If your out of the 3 month returns window, forget any after care via Aliexpress. In the UK we have laws protecting consumers. The Chinese do not have these consumer protections in place. Best to purchase goods in the UK if you want a longer the 3 month gaurantee, items cost more but at least we have consumer protection.
Update 28/01/25, just received a package in the post, to find it is the origanl packaged Ulefone mobile I sent to Ulefone back in May '24. The phone has not been looked at, still has the same faulty phone????

Very impressed, great service, Great electric pit bike

Smooth transaction, delivered on time, Packed very well.
Straight forward assembly, if your child is tall, go for the 2nd nearer of the fixing point.
On first 100m test run, noticed slight chain/sprocket noise. Lubed the chain with quality chain oil, zero chain noise.
Throttle span responce isn't linear regardless of setting, so just be aware. ( minor observation).
Other than that, powerful, and good quality machine for the price. My lad absolutely loves it.

Set up an account, sign contract. Opus now negates on this.

Set up a Business contract..................or thought so.
Set up a Business contract via Bionic as agent beginning of July 2022, Signed documents, Got confirmation email from Bionic stating contract with Opus all set up ready to start 1st September. Noticed last week no welcome/ introductary email or account details etc from Opus. Contacted Bionic to enquire if all is well. To be told Opus have rejected the contract Friday 19th August as it is a hospitality business? With no notification. Very disapointing service from Opus, Feeble reasoning for rejecting the contract. Opus have basically sat on the rejection-meaning that I have now missed the chance to negotiate an alternate electricity supplier at a more reasonable rate. I would personally avoid this supplier as they are not upstanding, they are a despicable company to deal with.
