Review of Osprey Charging

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Very frustrating!!

The charging point was on the ground floor of a multi-storey car park. There was no phone signal and I had to rush in and out of the building several times to get the charging session done. Very frustrating!!! If it was not for the support of a very helpful parking attendant I would have had to go somewhere else.

Reply from Osprey Charging

Hi Ben,
Sorry for the frustration you experienced. Mobile phone coverage inside multi-storey car parks can vary and, sadly, it’s not something we can control. That said, our chargers should still accept contactless payment (bank card or wallet) even if there’s no signal to use the Osprey app.
If you’d like to discuss further or share any extra details so we can investigate (location, date/time, charger number), please email support@ospreycharging.co.uk and we’ll look into it right away.
Thank you for the feedback. Osprey Team.

Tricked into an online SCAM

I responded to a very legitimate looking offer via email where I had to pay £3 for the delivery of a gift from Tesco. Immediately after, I realised I had been tricked and contacted my credit card company to cancel my card and they sent me a new one. My credit card company blocked 2 requests from them to take money off my account, the second of which was even before I received the new card! They then sent me another new card and blacklisted the previous 2 cards. Since then there were 5 more payments to TURNINTOWEB-SPT.COM DK of £22.50 on the new card. I emailed them and they responded by saying I purchased a 3 day trial membership and as I did not cancel the subscription, they continued to take the payments. They mention a "Welcome email with personal login details" that I never received, neither responded to. They confirmed they cancelled my subscription. I phoned them today on a number on their website to ask for a refund but lost the call. I have obviously been tricked into something I had no interest in and had no intention of signing up for. I have emailed them again today to ask for a refund. It is a horrible reality that we have be on guard all the time as there are very skilled agencies out there constantly trying to con us out of our hard earned money.

Disappointing service and fibre optic connection

There does not seem to be meaningful communication between Sky and Openreach. Despite that the “super fast” fibre optic broadband was eventually connected. Unfortunately now everything is slower than it was. TV and broadband. All Sky could do efficiently is update my bill to higher broadband fees. Within minutes if not seconds!!

Ridiculous increase in cost

Premium increase of almost 60% from previous year. Agent, and therefore Direct Line completely unsympathetic towards enormous price increase.

Incompetent delivery

I received the delivery in good time, but the delivery process was a bit of a joke! The delivery person could not explain to me what "curb-side" delivery means and was unable to deliver on a curb which is less than 3 inches high. Extremely uncooperative and unprofessional.

Good morning Ben,

We're sorry to hear that you had issues with your delivery. Unfortunately the order was delivered with a courier so we can only apologise for the service you have received. As they do deliver with a pallet truck, the delivery is kerbside so it is the nearest point to the delivery address, either on the kerb or next to it. If the driver was unable to get the order onto the kerb due to access or the weight, this was still a kerbside delivery as he would have dropped it as close as possible to the property. We understand that this is inconvenient and we will pass on the feedback to the courier delivery to take a look into this.

Kind Regards,
UK Timber

Nice overall

I like the option to be more specific about leg length and waist size. It is a nice golf rain trouser overall. Not entirely happy with the shape of the legs and getting stuff out of the pockets can be tedious. I have not worn it in the rain yet, which will be the main test. Buying and delivery excellent.

Returns policy self-serving

I bought a new hybrid from Clubhouse golf. I tried it on the driving range and did not get on with it. Even though I have hit less than 10 shots with it and there was not a mark on it, they refused to take it back. Despite having a no quibbles return policy.
Many golf shops will offer a 1/12 trial period, accepting that it is not always a given that you will get on with the club. Especially those where you can't try it out first. Although they are obviously within their rights, It is not good for customer service and I will certainly think twice before buying clubs from them again.

Hi, Ben.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience our terms may cause, but we are unable to accept used goods back for return, unless it is part of a manufacturer "performance guarantee"
