Ordered a footstool to go with my new sofa. Easy to order, price was very good and the quality is fantastic. Kept up to date with delivery and was easily able to change the date to suit. Had a call 30 mins before delivery and they delivered to the lounge. So pleased with my footstool and would definitely buy from here again.

Received email saying I had early access to their sale as a loyal customer. Ordered products which came to £91. Imagine my surprise when I looked a week later and the same products I ordered would have cost me £25 less! Queried this with the company but they just gave me a weak excuse that sometimes products get discounted more. Well what’s the point in giving me early access? And obviously loyal customers aren’t valued when you charge them more.
UPDATE: after sending numerous emails with no response, I persevered and after a number of emails telling me they couldn’t refund the difference I paid they eventually crumbled when I ask them to forward the query to the boss. Got my refund in price difference but so disappointed I wouldn’t recommend.

Email received with future delivery date and time so no problem. Or so I thought! They then changed the date and brought it forward by which time I had already left for work. Assumed they would leave the parcel as I’m living in share accommodation and the BIG sign on the door says to leave parcels in reception. Parcel not left and rescheduled for the next day so I wrote a note addressed to UPS and left it on the door asking for it to be left in reception. Second time, note ignored and still not left. Phoned UPS and told them to leave in reception as my ‘safe place’ but they said it’s at the discretion of the driver. As the person receiving the parcel I am obviously more qualified than the driver to know if my ‘safe place’ is indeed ‘safe’ but again left a BIG note on the door requesting it be left. By pure chance my partner was leaving as the driver arrived and managed to get the parcel on the third attempt. Emailed UPS and they just gave me the usual generic answer. Driver didn’t leave any info notice either time delivery was attempted and couldn’t update my delivery preferences online either, however it appears they ignore your requests anyway. They obviously think people don’t work and can wait at home especially for them to arrive!

Google business support is non existent. They removed a one star review from my business profile that had been written by a competitor as asked and confirmed it violated google policy. A year later they reinstated it and when I questioned it they said they couldn’t remove it as it didn’t violate google policy!! Couldn’t make it up. They don’t read emails, sent generic replies when they feel like responding or don’t bother answering at all. Considering the size of the company they should be ashamed of their terrible business support.

Review of Weatherspoons
I think a lot of the reviews are quite harsh. I love going to Weatherspoons for breakfast and always found the food nice and staff really friendly. Only downside is they sometimes don’t have decaf coffee so I always take my own just in case. My local is in Bridgnorth but I’ve visited the Bexhill one numerous times when visiting family and can’t fault it for the price.

Customer service is non existent when trying to email their dispute team. Had one initial response but when I asked further questions they have ignored every single one of the SEVEN emails I sent. Terrible.
Update 29.5.24 - amazing how Made In China got in touch within a few hours of my review asking for further info but couldn’t manage to respond to my seven emails. I’ll wait and see if they answer my questions this time.
Update 18.10.24 - initially responded to emails but then washed their hands of the issue and stopped answering my questions. Do not use this site.

Review of DAZN
Like everyone else I paid for the Fury fight thinking I would cancel with no issues afterwards. Now told 30 days notice so I’ll be charged pro rata for the extra days. Contacted my bank and advised them not to pay any money to DAZN in the future (this worked so they were unable to charge me extra). Difficult to cancel without phoning or online chat in which they badger you into staying by lowering the price they offer. Stay away. Would never use again. Bunch of crooks.

After a bad experience with Boots opticians I took the plunge and decided to try buying online as I just wanted a second spare pair of glasses. £30 later and they arrived in under a week. Great quality, look fantastic and couldn’t fault their service. Highly recommend.

Bought two pairs of glasses, same brand and frame. One was merely a spare pair which I had probably worn less than 10 times. The arm on the spare pair snapped without any force when removing them. Although they were 14 months old, given I had only worn them a handful of times, I think they must have been defective to start. Returned to the opticians and was told I’d have to pay for a new frame which was £195 but they’d reduce it to £115 as a gesture of goodwill. I refused as I didn’t think I should have to pay for a defective product, especially when I found I could actually buy the same frame online for £79. I complained to Boots and was told it had been referred to the practice to investigate and contact me. That was over a week ago and I’m still waiting. I guess this shows how much they value their customers. Won’t be using again.
Update at 12 April - emailed their customer relations team on 26 March who advised me they had escalated the case and their Senior Management Team would contact me as soon as they could. Still waiting over 2 weeks later!

The hose on my old spot cleaner broke and I’m trying to find a replacement part. Have sent 3 messages to them via their website and received zero response. Doesn’t give me much faith if they can’t even reply to a simple query.
Update to your patronising reply: I have definitely posted this review to the correct company because I’m actually intelligent and know the difference between companies so please don’t try to pretend it isn’t your company. I still have the 3 automated emails I got from the 3 queries I sent saying you would be in touch (which never happened). I also never said you sold replacement parts, I said I had sent a request asking for advice on getting a replacement.

Second time a parcel was being delivered by this company. As before they didn’t bother delivering to the door. The lazy driver left it outside the apartment block where anyone could pinch it rather than buzzing up and coming to my door. Did an online chat with them but don’t expect anything to change. Lazy drivers.

Easy to order on the website, delivered on the day requested and a fantastic present idea. The second time I’ve used this company to send a present to my parents. My mum loved it so much she asked for another for her birthday! A great alternative to flowers for a loved one.
(Seen a few bad reviews saying parcel was delivered to wrong address or left outside. I had the same issue with DPD not delivering to the door and leaving it outside the apartment block. Obviously this is not the fault of the company but lies with DPD so I think they were unfair)

Sent a surprise present to my elderly parents to cheer them up after my mum had a fall. The driver left the parcel outside their apartment block and never bothered buzzing their number and delivering it to their door. Anyone could have taken it and I had to call my parents to ask them to go collect it from outside. When I send a parcel I expect it to be delivered to the door and not left outside. Plain lazy.

Purchased two steam cleaners in May 2021 with a two year guarantee (one for me and one for a family member). One stopped working after a year and they replaced it with no questions asked. Second one just stopped working and after a slow email process back and forth asking me to check different things they asked me to send it back in the post for repair. Not sure what their procedures are but why did they replace a year old machine straight away and are now asking me to send a much older machine back for repair? Makes no sense whatsoever. I obviously don’t have the original box after so long so they now expect me to find a box big enough to package it in, then I have to wait in for a courier to collect it which is not convenient. On top of this, they advised me they would send the returns label in the post. Never heard of this before as would have expected it to come via email. Further delay of 3-5 days waiting for the label, and to top it all off they sent the label to an old address 40 miles away despite me stating in my email my current address! Very poor customer service, slow to answer, and procedures make no sense at all.
