Googles terrible Pixel support, worst in the industry

We can all execpt that sometimes things can go wrong with a product, and in the case of Googles Pixel 6a it was batteries setting on fire. They ran an update that cannot be skipped and crippled the battery so instead of running all day it now has to be charged 3 to 4 times. Instead of doing a full recall on the affected devices and replacing the phones they went another way. 1) Battery replacement (there are no centres anwhere near me) 2 Roughly £74 in compensation (and yes your phone is still liable to fire) 3 £112 towards another of their store (nowhere near enough to buy a phone). So i contacted their support who in short cannot do anything expect give you the run around, asking you to do things like sending invoices, scripted responses, failing to listen to what you had to say, being damn right rude about it, one support worker did not want to listen she quickly said, tough its in our terms and conditions (ignoring staturity rights) and hung up. Safe to say Google has lost me as a customer, because if anything goes wrong they do not care.

Worst Service and customer support, a disgrace, should be investigated

I sold a PC Graphics card on Vinted which got there in less than 24 hours to the buyer using Inpost, the buyer realised he had no idea how to install it so wanted to send it back, He chose Evri, he chose poorly. The buyer sent us a tracking number and 5 days later the tracking proceeded to do this.

On Jan 8th 2025 Evri sent an email that the item was consider lost! Remember items cannot just dissapear into thin air but they can be stolen. watch the Joe lycett video on youtube where Evri/Hermes steal packages to sell at auction.

Their support does not exist, they have a chat bot and not a human in site. if you ask to escalate it and ask for a phone call, you only get chatbot emails saying the item is a little delayed (they must now that this winds anyone up) dispite saying you only want to communicate by phone.
I like a few others are suspicious of the 5 star reviews on here. I will also guess that if they respond to this review they will supply this number 0330 808 5456 which is an autmated bot number where all you can do is put your ref in and be thrown back out with the same reply as the chatbot. Shame on you Evri.

Salter Uk excellent customer service

Somtimes things go wrong, but when they do it is a measure of how a company responds to that. Salter UK provide a first class warranty and customer support. In my instance it was the little rubber feet that go on a air fyer, mine had one fall off and had lost the pips to stay on, Salter replaced it under warranty without a fuss.

Charging for EU roaming the last straw

Finally leaving Three after five years, what a year it has been with them, first they cancel my contract that was £8 a month to, and in their own words, moved me to a equivalent contract which was £29.99! The reason they wanted my 'legacy' contract gone was that it had Go Roam, the ability to take your mobile phone anywhere in Europe for instance and not pay extra. With the loss of the protection of the EU rule on capping roaming charges gone Three decided it was time to jump on the bandwagon and rinse their customers for every penny they could get. WIth having family in Germany Go Roam was fantastic, but it looks like Three want to take their customers for fools. Customer service is also a VERY frustrating experience, they do not listen, try to talk over you to tell you how GREAT they are, possibly the worst thing you can do when someone is trying to put their point about a problem across. If anyone from Three can give me my free roaming back then I would stay/comeback, but I doubt it.

That isn't what we'd like to hear. We always aim at giving great experience and be transparent with all our dealings. The new charge ensures that customers are clear on what to pay when using our services abroad, only those who roam will pay for the service. If you have any queries about this, please get in touch with us on https://rb.gy/ogcjyz & we'll do all we can to help - Ankita

Click and collect during Covid experience

I needed to replace a faulty Razer gaming mouse and due to gaming being my main source of destraction I needed it quickly, not only did Currys stock it, it was the same price as online stores. The click and collect process is simple, quick and made me feel totally safe, just popped the boot open and the memeber of staff popped it into my boot and even shut the boot. Will only buy my electronic good from here in future.
