Evri stinks new name for Hermes

Evri stinks new name for Hermes, but things are no better. An order despatched by Amazon Prime on the 11.07.2022, has still not been delivered. Here is the excuses. Delivery attempted-front door / Driveway was not accessible.

The driveway does not even have a gate, and the morning in question Tues 19th 2022 time 10.05am.
Nothing recorded entering the drive around that time, fitters that was expected entered at 10.22, MIC entered at 10.37 and Royal Mail at 11.05. Had this more to do with the Amazon last day for Delivery? Just one last point the distance between the front door and the main road is about 30 meters. Maybe Evri drivers are on simmer frames!
Package still not delivered, 2 days after supposed first, I think we can say never happened. This is Amazon Prime service, items under 20 Pounds get delivered by a 3 rate delivery service. I will update the outcome. Delivered today at 9.55 by FedEX Local Courier Two day service.

Only the name has changed.

This is the old renamed Hermes and even worse, started not too bad did not stay that way long, and used by Amazon Prime which you pay Amazon for with delivery times between 7 and 10 days. The best Amazon can offer on a late delivery, is to wait another 7 days for a refund, A forth rate delivery company who seem to get away with it. I do try to avoid this company where ever possible.

Poor customer Service

This is one of the worst spares company’s I have ever used. Haven placed an order and signed up for an account the invoice was created then taken of screen, on trying to log in again it informed me my email and password did not match. Received this message. “Unfortunately we have been unable to locate your order. In order for us to investigate this further please provide the following details that were used on the order:

Name
Order Number
Contact Number
Email Address
Full address including postcode

They seem to max out on one message per day, this was Friday 10.48. 07/01/22. Order was placed 05/01/22 and payment taken. The above Information was provided within 30min of request.
Still no response.
Things did improve the no excess was sorted by a member of the customer services to my account, with two replays in one day my thanks to him. The other plus was the goods had been despatched, and has arrived, and the correct part that was ordered.

Good buying experience

This was a good experience, order did not go quite to plan but sorted very quickly, but this is more impotent than a nice smooth order, still quick despatch, and delivery by DHL this applies to UK Mainland only, offshore delivery will have to be arranged by the buyer at extra cost> This is a good price to start with so should not be a problem. Warning had a very slight acid leak, even though the packing was very good, always be careful unpacking, there is good guidance enclosed. The product is good, this is my second. I have review the first. Would be very happy to use the seller again

Well-made recommended

Well-made recommended, easy to use, I have used a few times now and found it locks and returns with no problems. Only minus is the fitting kit bolts, not good I replaced these with M6 Rawbolts, that makes a good job.
Despatch good, but Hermes Delivery Very Poor, if you need the item a little quicker use Royal Mail.

The DTI should stop this company…

The DTI should stop this company trading, this is the worst delivery in Europe. You cannot contact a human only automated nonsensical rubbish then there is contact seller, they seem to have the same trouble. Not to mention all the lies about parcels placement were, very often at the wrong address.
I would advise buyers to avoid this company if at all possible, unto some legal action is taken. It will not be a cheap delivery by the time you get your parcel, if at all. The off UK mainland delivery’s can take up to 9 working days.
Update.The overdue parcel arrived 19.32 today, but was handed over at the door, and not thrown on the door steep without even ringing the door bell, now I call that a steep in the right direction. One star to three

This would have been a 5 star, it the off the UK Mainland Delivery had been better, Delivery made to my UK address, where onward shipping was done for half the price. The whole shipping time involving two carriers, only took 36 hours. This does not apply to UK mainland buyers. Product good. I would use this seller again.

Spares Orders

Ordered spares from Rug Doctor, service was good up to the point where off UK Mainland delivery is required. This can cost another £10 pounds, and add 5 days for courier delivery. All spares was as ordered.
This would not apply to UK Mainland delivery.

Review removed because…

After having a review removed because there software deemed it to be fake. I would really like to know what company produces such trashy software, or maybe because it was a review of one of the biggest retailers around. It was certainly not a fake review in any way, I have the transcripts of their customer services chats, and all other communications. I have now come to the conclusion it is pointless to read or write reviews because of bias towards negative reviews, so this will be my last.
