Poor access to the internet

I’m finding I’m unable to access the internet far less often than when I was with vodaphone - 4G is useless and I rarely get the option of 5G. Because of my sporting activities I seriously need good coverage. I am hoping things start to change now that Vodaphone and Three have joined and it is said that Smarty customers will benefit from this. If I don’t have evidence of that pretty soon. I will be leaving.

Sam and Benjamin were great. Very warm, friendly and considerate. We had a useful and productive discussion about where everything was going to be situated. Job was done with minimum fuss. I am very happy with them.

I loved my first pair of Hoka trail shoes but ….

I loved my first pair of Hoka trail running shoes but after 5 years of frequent use, they really needed replacing. The store I bought them from - Up and Running on Deansgate Manchester, has stopped stocking them, which was a big disappointment as I feel it’s very important when buying something like this, to be able to try on. I ordered on line reluctantly and was disappointed in the new model. It has an elasticated sock which makes it very hard to put them on, they were narrower than my originals and pressed on my bunion when I used them, and I felt that the material the uppers are made of, is of poorer quality - inside the old ones the surface is a soft fabric - the new a scratchy crackly surface. I can see myself returning to using the old ones.

Parcel was just left on the step with…

Parcel was just left on the step with no attempt to check if I was in. As I picked it up I could hear the van driving away - I couldn’t see it so they can’t have seen me.

Very impressed so far

I was very relieved that Insurance With were happy to insure me even though ( like half the population) I’m on Statins to guard against high cholesterol. I was shocked when Churchill turned me down for this. I haven’t had to make a claim so am hoping, if I do, that their approach to claims is as reasonable.

Exceptional customer service

When my husband died shortly before our boiler service was due I went ahead with the service anyway, and was not charged for the work. I have recently needed a new radiator valve, although short staffed, Ian made sure that I was sorted that day. It’s things like this that make a company special. And the work is good too.

Exceptional customer service

I can’t rate this company higher for their customer services. After my husband died very suddenly just before my service was due in March, which I went ahead with, Ian waived payment on it. I have just needed a replacement valve on a radiator and his excellent engineer Adam was with me 5 hours later in spite of a shortage of staff, and I know that I am able to call on them at any time.

Great experience, great organisation

I did the Vietnam cycle trip which was and excellent balance of riding and culture. The leader and support staff were great - committed to making the trip a success and friendly and helpful. Hotels were well chosen and there were opportunities to eat at local restaurants. There was a good balance of meals paid for by the company and ones where you chose yourselves. The group number - 16 - was perfect.

Terrible

I was out Parcel was left on front door step in view of the street. Next door were in but no attempt to ring there. No attempt to hide it and leave a note saying where it is. This is typical yodel delivery. I complain every time and nothing changes.

Great device. Hope customer services get their act together.

Having struggled with ear buds coming out all the time, this product was magical for me. Great sound as well. However, when I contacted the company about a couple of minor issues, I got a very dismissive reply. I then looked at Trustpilot to find that the customer service experience has been dreadful for most people. I emailed them again, this time referring to Trustpilot and saying what a pity it is that such a great product is spoiled by poor service. I got an immediate response with a much fuller response and advice. I hope that if I do have any problems with my device, I will get the necessary support, which they do seem to want to offer. Fingers crossed as it really is a great little device and itself deserves 5*.

Immaculate customer service

There was a problem with the DPD delivery and I contacted customer services who probably thought the delivery had been made. I got an immediate response, my delivery charge refunded and a promise that they would contact DPD and another of the item sent out if it still wasn’t delivered. Fortunately it came the next day. Excellent, friendly and personal customer service.

Very impressive service

Very impressive service. I had no problem with connecting to a live chat when wanting some advice about my purchase and the person on the chat was most helpful and obliging. AO kept me informed every step of the way as to what to expect with my delivery including a live map showing where the fitters were on the morning of delivery. My new cooker came exactly when promised. The fitters were efficient and friendly. My only comment would be that I thought a £10 delivery charge seemed a bit petty with an expenditure of nearly £1000. You could say that it’s not much in light of that cost, but that applies to the company as well and I feel they have lost just a tiny bit of my good will as a result, with not a lot gained for them. I have no problem with them making a charge for a next day delivery - that doesn’t seem unreasonable. Cooker is perfect and I would certainly buy from this company again and recommend them to friends.
