I’ve been a Virgin Media customer for several years, but as soon as my contract ended, my monthly bill suddenly tripled. I didn’t notice for two months and only then realised my contract had expired.
When I contacted the customer service team, someone called Sandeep offered me a terrible deal. I asked if they could do better, and I was told no — that it was “better than paying £66.64 a month.” I then asked to speak with a manager to share my feedback, but I was abruptly transferred to a different agent.
After many years as a customer, I decided to leave. It’s incredibly disappointing how Virgin Media treats long-term customers. I do not recommend them now.
EDIT: An apology on the rude response from customer service followed by his abrupt end to our conversation would have been more appropriate than your response. Ironically, I initially called to set a second account for another property. I am not going back to Virgin Media now.

Review of ADT UK&I
I do not recommend ADT. I signed a three-year contract in March 2023, but they are now claiming it will not end until June 2026. We may be moving premises in March next year, and when I spoke with Kevin Sheldon from customer service, he simply said we would have to pay until June no matter what — even though my original three-year agreement should end in March 2026. There was no desire to rectify the situation.
They have effectively extended the contract without any communication or explanation. When asked why, they could see in their system that the contract began in March 2023, but could not explain the discrepancy.
In addition, they randomly increased the price without notice, and only reduced it back to the original amount when I queried it.
Overall, I feel scammed. This is short-sighted customer service, and I will be raising a formal complaint. I cannot wait until the end of the contract to switch to a different provider.

Hello, I am unable to log into my business account. I emailed hours ago but haven't received a response. Can someone please get back to me? This is really bad form and the waiting time is unacceptable. The reference is SUW-52245-338
UPDATE: Someone did get in touch asking, "Does using your old password allow you to unlock 1Password on your devices?". I am not sure how asking random questions will solve the problem. I wouldn't have requested urgent assistance if able to log into my account, right? Still unable to login and no one has replied to my last email.

Review of BT
I don’t normally write reviews but my experience with BT has been one I would rather forget. After 10 days we are still waiting for an engineer to come to install the wifi which we were supposed to have 10 days ago. Given the current situation and the working from home scenario not having the wifi is a big issue. We keep calling their customer service and the only thing they can say is that “an engineer is coming tomorrow” and then no one shows up. Still no wifi. What a joke. Heading to another provider.
