I paid for plan 900 but was receiving…

I paid for plan 900 but was receiving less than 150. Operator said 900 means maximum spead of 900 . On Hey website it says average speed of 900. 150 I can get cheaper from different providers. Customer survice is not very good. Contract is ending in August , will leave

Return

To returning their item if you outside Germany is very difficult. Took many emails and reminders to get info for custom. They also lied about refund without return , but didn’t refund . Lost 2 weeks, before noticed that refund wasn’t issued . Contacted them again and they said - representative was not correct and I need to send goods back. Will see if they issue the refund overall 2 weeks lost on waiting refund, and 3 weeks on getting info for customs

The easiest app I have

The easiest app I have. Well pleased. Exchange rate is good ( I upgrade it so no exchange fees when markets opened). And gbp vault has good interest rate ( especially compare to my bank). Refered a friend recently, see if I get bonus as promised. Ever so fast to transfer between countries, exchange and pay

We have a meter inside ( somehow)

We have a meter inside ( somehow). My Kitchen was flooding the other night but we couldn’t turn off water , because themes water could only do it… eventually they did and a plumer was able to fix the problem… but water can not be turned off fully ( old faulty pluming )… Thames water says it no emergency and wouldn’t do anything about it…I guess waiting for next flood in my kitchen . Lots of calls and no result…themes water got monopoly ,where I leave, and don’t really care if you are ok or not… it has been months so far

Update… got reply from Themes water today… they said stop valve inside my house should be working…. The answer ignores the fact that pipe that goes from their valve( which doesn’t work properly and doesn’t fully close ) was leaking , and it is inside my house that pipe joined my valve( that is working) … in 2 month 2 Engineers come … one said a pipe is fixed ( by me) so forget about the valve not a problem at this time , not emergency … the other said that a valve is only unable to close by 10 %… so guess who cares if 10% still be flowing to my kitchen… answer said get in Touch … we call them every other day … all that happened we collected many reference numbers… if anyone knows how to make them do their work, please advice

Update … another engrener came … said Thames Water is no longer fixing their valves as it is too expensive for them… he said unless half of your house will be under water they won’t do a thing and he was unsure why operators are not telling this to customers…

Hi, I'm sorry you've had problems with the internal plumbing at your home and have suffered with flooding.

It's not unusual for there to be a meter inside as we'll always consider this as an option whenever fitting one outside isn't possible. This can be for a number of different reasons but would also mean it's less likely you have an outside stop valve for your home. As a result, it's really important that all properties have a working inside stop valve.

We'll always aim to support in the moment when an emergency situation arises, however, we have to prioritise all planned work such as installing new outside stop valves.

I'd like to take a look at the specific circumstances for your home and see what needs to happen next - if you can provide further details, we'll get in touch.

They have canceled my engineer…

They have canceled my engineer appointment twice. Before the second appointment was canceled I have contacted them to make sure the engineer will be at the property at the allocated slot, and they reassured me that they do not cancel the appointments for the second time if its in a row. They cancel it anyway. Both appointments were for the gas safety certificate.

Reply to British Gas- I needed certificate by certain day.If I knew it could have multiple cancellations I would have search for alternative company to do it. However, when I called I was told it would not happened twice, second time I called during the slot I was "rest assured "engineer was on his way.

Update- Gas Safety Certificate was provided almost a week after expiry of old one. British Gas blamed technical glitch. It's legal requirements for landlords to have updated safety certificates.

Hi Victoria, this is sad to read. I know it's not ideal having your appointments cancelled, our Planning Team will do everything they can to try get an engineer out,sometimes this isn't always possible. We need to prioritise our most vulnerable customers, that have no heating or hot water. ^ Fiona
