24s' masked discrimination
Further to my previous reviews titled "24s doesn't care about loyal customers" in reply to part 3 of the 24s has finally provided a real reason why my transaction was refused. It was not due to any issues with my cc when receiving "payment has been declined by your banking institution" message appearing at the time of transaction. The real reason is this: " 24S reserves the right to cancel the execution of an order, in the event of an abnormally high number of returns". So all this blah blah that "every credit card payment is processed by the verification system, which refused the request to authorise a transaction" has nothing to do with the eligibility of cc or accounting issue. 24s discriminates against the customers based on the ratio of items purchased vs items returned. Since I have bought 6 items and returned 4, I was marked as a customer with "abnormally high number of returns". Therefore, when 24s issues bogus message "payment has been declined by your banking institution" it is de facto discouraging "undesirable" customers from shopping on their site.

24s doesn’t care about loyal customers part 3 and final
24s is not ready to admit when they make a mistake and provides muddying response to the legitimate concerns. If the payment with my cc was refused by 24s why did I not get a message “ transaction refused by verification system” but instead this message appeared: “ payment has been declined by your banking institution”?. As a customer seeing this message I spent time and energy investigating the problem with my cc provider. Which, btw, confirmed in writing that there is no problem with the card and moreover no request to authorise the transaction was ever received from 24s. 24s please improve what messages the customers are receiving when shopping on your site and don’t create confusion. I cannot be the only customer this has happened to, I am sure.

24s doesn’t care about loyal customers - part 2
In the reply to my latest post 24S claimed that the issue was investigated and that they are still not able to resolve it. My transaction with new cc will not be processed due to “unusual activity”. Strangely enough, few weeks ago I placed an order for 580 euros without any problems but now when trying to buy an item for 285 euros it’s considered “unusual”? Mind you my previous credit card and my replaced (new) credit card come from the same cc provider. In addition, as an experiment I also tried to pay with my husband’s cc and got the same message” contact your bank”. So could it be that 24s is really refusing the transactions with legitimate cc but rather refuses transaction by profiling/discriminating against the customer's nationality, location, buying patterns per price tag?

24s doesn't care about loyal customers
After being a long standing customer with 24s, for an unknown reason I started having issues when trying to place an order with my new credit card. Under prefered payment method I had details of my old cc, but since this card was replaced, I wanted to use a new card. After filling in all the details, I got a message that payment was declined by my banking institution. I have contacted my cc provider and got confirmation in writing that everything from their side and also that they never received any request from 24s to authorise payments! I have alerted 24s that there may be an issue with on there site. Email after email I got some excuses that everything is fine with their technical and accounting. I even used my husband's cc and still got the same message that there is a problem with bank! Anyway, it seems that 24s does not take any real responsibility to fully investigate the matters and leaves it to the loyal customers to fan for themselves. Discriminatory practices? Well yes! Shame on you 24s.

I wanted to write a follow-up to the…
I wanted to write a follow-up to the review I have posted on 7/06/2023. The "Chanel" neckless that I bought on VC's site had the original description stating "no copyrights", which to an English speaking person like myself were meaningless words assigned to the piece of jewelry. A copyright protects a creator's original work from being used or duplicated without their permission. A trademark protects the reputation of a business that is associated with identifying material such as their logo or slogan. That's why I relied on the VC's expert to provide a report confirming the authenticity. And confirm that it was manufactured under Chanel trademark. It was never explicitly communicated to me that this item might not be authentic Chanel. I have written to the VC that the Chanel's stamp/trademark and other elements belonging to this brand's usual quality standards are missing, which caused me to have doubts about the authenticity. All this was also confirmed by a third party authenticator. Surprisingly, VC performed another authentication and concluded that this item meets the brand's standards?! It has later relisted the item under my name but at the same time modified the original description stating "absence of pellet"!? I consider it a misleading and dishonest practice, since the crucial elements for authenticating this piece is still missing. Therefore, the "expert authentication" at VC cannot be in any way justified. And I am deeply disappointed with the way this case was handled. I am also afraid I may never receive a reimbursement. Shame on you VC!

Lack of authentication expertise
I have purchased an expensive neckless on VC following receipt of the authentication report. Once I had examined it with the magnifying glass, I began to have doubts about its authenticity. The necklace is definitely not by CHANEL as it does not meet the brand’s quality standards. The stamp/engraving of "CHANEL" was missing (there is noting on a clasp, nor anywhere else). Interlocking CC on the biggest part of the necklace were jointed in the middle, whereas there should be an empty space there. The whole piece was misaligned. The craftsmanship is shady, as there are visible glue signs on the setting of the stones. Some stones are not the same shape as others. One of the small interlocking CC has a visible welding marks whereas it should be smooth transitions between the metal parts. Chanel adheres to the highest quality standards when manufacturing their products and employs top craftsmen in the field. This item did not come from the house of Chanel.
I was extremely disappointed at being mislead by the “expert authenticator” and lost confidence in the VC's expertise advice and their ability to protect unsuspected buyers from purchasing what potentially might be a counterfeited item.

Yoox is unjustifibly discriminating against customers on grounds of place of residence
I have found an item on Lyst.com which directed me to yoox.com as the product seller's website. However when I wanted to make a purchase on yoox, I was requested to change the country of residence and then the product disappeared and was no longer available in "my country". As I am shopping within EU and the product was initially listed under another EU country, I was wondering why it has disappeared? Is yoox unjustifiably discriminating against customers on grounds of nationality or place of residence? This is for sure unethical and possibly illegal. As a long time yoox customer I feel really disappointed...

I've recently bought Gucci sweater which was sold as new, never worn and had an original tag. After receipt of the item I've noticed that it had a flaw which was not mentioned in the description. I've immediately notified VC asking to return it, provided pictures and explanation of noticed damage. They replied that the item matches description and my only option is to relist it. I have told them that I will be compromising my integrity by relisting damaged item under my name, but did not hear back. Left with no choice I've relisted this item. The VC relists the item by using original photos and description of the previous seller. Within few days someone has bought it. I've sent the item to VC as instructed and they are telling me that they will offer me less money for it because the sweater has a flaw!!!! What kind of scam is that? The sweater didn't have damage when I said it but all of the sudden does when they say it? It seems they are looking for ways to take financial advantage of unsuspected customers and will try anything to not reimburse money owned. What a dishonest way to run a business.

Service - the overall shopping experience has been positive. I have a problem with delivery of one order, which is still unresolved. I am waiting for an amicable resolution.
