Extortionate price for very mediocre food, medium rare steak arrived well done, (refunded to be fair) boneless chicken slimey £17 for a glass of wine! Avoid if possible, there’s a Burger King around the corner!

Con artists

Quoted £320 for a mint condition iPhone 12 Pro Max. Always been in protective cover with protective screen and camera lens screen from brand new. On receipt they reduce offer to £120! Absolute joke, then to add insult to injury charge me to send phone back - don’t use at any cost, con artists

When you created your Trade in you selected the Good condition which must have ‘No scratches, cracks, chips, bends, damage or any sign of use on the device whatsoever. It powers on and functions as new’.

However once received and assessed by our technicians, we found your device had considerable wear to the screen as well as a visible chip. This meant your device matched our faulty condition and so the revised value was given.

Rubbish Rip Off

Why is it not possible to rate zero stars?!
I feel I could write all day about this unbelievably pathetic experience.
Having attended The Murder Trial Live in a lovely hotel, with a three course sit down meal around a very spacious round table in 2018, I was ecstatic to learn that it was back on tour and happily recommended that I, my partner and her daughter and son in law should attend this show in Caerphilly.
Well……….. having paid £240.00 for tickets AND paying a pricey sum just to park, our experience went from bad to worse from the second we arrived. Rude bar staff selling crap beer at massively inflated prices was just the start of it. Taken by the opportunity to experience ‘an assortment of “street food”’ we ventured outside and approaching a single tent advertising three uninviting ‘dishes’ which we purchased at £10 a go as we hadn’t previously eaten. Almost all of the food went uneaten as we gagged our way through what we did eat accompanied by the pungent smell of untreated urine and faeces emanating from the disgusting portaloos (worthy to point out that a more luxurious and larger sized loo was on site FOR CREW ONLY ie those who hadn’t paid through the nose for the pleasure!).
When one of our party was nearly sick due to the smell we moved inside, (inside being in a large inflatable tent where you latterly would struggle to hear the “actors” due to the noise of the air pump keeping the thing inflated) having arrived as instructed half an hour before the programmed start time of 6pm. Our ‘jury’ of twelve adults sat around a table which would probably comfortably sit 4, on plastic seats designed for infant school children, and endured booming monotonous music for a full hour until the ‘trial’ finally commenced at 7pm - 90 minutes past our arrival.
So the acting finally started but the impending lack of quality was evident after only the first five minutes or so after which, had we have been closer to the exit, we probably would have left.We stayed, However, begrudgingly to witness to the inane acting of the prosecution case . This acting was appalling with every actor jumbling up or forgetting their lines albeit they were clearly reading from highlighted scripts!
The recess between prosecution and defence could not come quickly enough. In agony from sitting on children’s seats, we beat a retreat one hour in, in total dismay at this whole debacle feeling robbed of the small fortune the evening had cost us.
My advice to anyone considering this experience would be to spend a couple of quid on some needles and sit at home for the evening sticking them in your eyes.
I will be pursuing a full refund and will be happy to fight to the bitter end.
I wonder if Deborah Meaden is aware that this company are still using her name to endorse this trash? I very much doubt it……….

Can't thank them enough

I am currently part way through a tribunal case with my ex employer and have been represented to date by Stevyn Jackson. Stevyn's support and advice have been fantastic, however, I have hit hard financial times as a result of my ex employers actions and whilst not ideal, have been unable to settle my bills with them in a timely manner. They have been 100% supportive and are working with me towards a payment plan, and a plan to move forward with my case - I cannot recommend them highly enough - thank you DPH

All they are are a parasite call centre quadrupling their providers’ prices and if you object they hang up on you - keep it local and go to a reputable garage, avoid these charlatans like the plague - if zero stars were available that would be a more realistic score

Only one star cos zero wasn’t available - firstly four weeks til I got valuation and oh what a joke that was - six Armani watches in mint condition, walnut and glass watch box for twelve watches, 12 sets of cuff links from Links of London RRP of whole lot c£1,000.00 - they offered me a whopping £19!!! and the employee on the phone was dam right rude and condescending. Told them to return my belongings to which this idiot scoffed and reported three to four days return due to postal strike - I’ll not hold my breath….

With modern designer pieces, they lose a lot of their value as soon as they are purchased, this is why a lot of antiques shops and jewellers will not purchase them from you at anywhere near as high a price as they were bought for. We usually recommend for our customers to sell items like this on websites such as eBay as this has a larger customer base.

We specialise in more vintage pieces, and whilst we can purchase modern designer items, we openly admit that we aren't the best service for these items. This is something that is usually discussed in our welcome calls which is why we highly recommend them to our customers.

That being said, we hope you manage to sell the items elsewhere.
