My son started attending the Enfield Town Kumon Centre, run by Chrys, when he was just 6 years old. At first I enrolled him onto their Maths programme but decided to try their English programme too.
After a few months I could see a visible improvement with my sons maths. He was becoming more confident and faster with his mental arithmetic, number sums & fractions he would tell me it’s fun and easy.
English was never my sons favourite subject but I could see that after a week or so his fluency in reading was improving. He loved finding information from extracts and ordering sentences into grammatical order. It’s been really rewarding to see how much he has changed in his abilities.
The manager, Chrys, as well as all her centre staff are very friendly, approachable and polite. My son loves attending the centre and enjoys doing his work.
Even during the last couple of months my son has not been able to attend the centre, due to COVID 19, he had been able to carry on with his work and loves his online Zoom classes that the manager Chrys has provided. It makes him feel very grown up.
