The actions and behavior of this bank or platform are negligent and fraudulent , actually criminal. They “lose” deposits from the paying parties so funds are not available. They are mostly unreachable by phone and email to discuss any issues. It is inexcusable that the government is allowing this service to continue. Many single parents who depend on these funds are suffering because of this. How is it they are getting away with this. If you are reading this and experiencing these problems, please report it to your local States Attorney. It needs to be addressed with the Department of Child Support !!
I was called by a salesperson after clicking on the *interested* button online. The salesman “ coach” who works on commission pushed hard for me to sign up for the physical training certification program. When I said that I need some time to do more research, he then offered a 50% discount if I signed up on the spot, with the promise of an immediate refund if I canceled at anytime within 7 days. I reluctantly signed on. When finished, I did some research and discovered a more appealing program, with a specialty I wanted. I called him after twenty minutes to cancel but he did not pick up. I texted him that I wanted to cancel. He texted back a phone number to call. I called the number he provided, waited a very long time. Finally someone came on and told me that I couldn’t get a refund. After arguing with him he put me on another long hold and returned saying that he had spoken to the “coach“ with whom I had spoken and gave permission to cancel but I would have to pay a 10% admin fee ( based on the total cost of the program.) Also no funds would be refunded until 7 days. If they hold returned funds for thousands of customers, they can make a profit from interest. This was a deceptive, hard-sell experience and eradicated trust in their organization.

We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and the frustration it caused, Karen. We never want any student or prospective student to feel pressured or misled during the enrollment process. The 10% cancellation fee you mentioned is part of our standard policy and is outlined in the Terms and Conditions at the time of purchase, but we truly regret if there was any miscommunication about this when you enrolled.

In theory, ride sharing is environmentally correct and a great idea but there are huge problems with this APP. The drivers show availability and then fail to commit ( fail to accept the reservation) all the way up to the pick up time in the hopes that you will cancel your reservation. It seems they do this because if YOU cancel the reservation before the pick up time, even though they have not accepted, then you must pay for the ride! In this scenario they get paid for not providing the ride. It’s a game they play and a scam. This makes the entire process unreliable and nerve-racking. If you have an important appointment , do NOT rely upon this APP. Also you must have a back up plan in place to prepare for non-accepted reservations and no-shows.
The artwork that I ordered from iCanvas arrived quickly, reasonably close to the estimated delivery. When it arrived it unfortunately had been damaged ( the ticker scratches easily from the large staples in the box. They were responsive via email when my artwork arrived damaged. The replacement arrived very quickly. I think they are a trustworthy company that I could recommend based on my experience. Marie from DC
Overall, this is an amazing computer program/platform providing a brilliant and effective tool for researching one's genealogy. However, there are some major ethical concerns about the company's practice of regularly removing entire ancestral lines that have been researched and saved. Some of the generational lines just mysteriously disappear, necessitating the line to be researched again, thereby perpetuating never-ending research and prolonged membership. Once you have researched hundreds of ancestors, they obviously assume that the customer won't notice if they delete a few lines. So, here is some advice to the consumer to circumvent this deceptive, dishonest practice: download (via the GEDcom file) onto your computer every new branch you find and/or print it out so as not to "lose" your research because it may get removed by Ancestry. They are obviously trying to make money --It is infuriating because they are stealing BOTH the customer's money and even more, valuable time spent researching. I have had weeks of research disappear, POOF! Shame on them for doing that. I have complained numerous times about this but they keep doing it regularly. In fact, It seems built into their program. Another deceptive practice I have experienced repeatedly is the program generating famous," Knights,Lords and Ladies, Barons,"etc. along your line as "Potential Parents," to flatter one's ego to hook you interest and keeping that ,membership money flowing. Be very careful about those sources. Customer Support service is mostly not very good. Once in awhile you may get someone more helpful but more often than not, you don't.

Hello Karen, thanks so much for taking a moment out of your day to share your feedback with us. We sincerely regret hearing of any trouble you've encountered with your trees on our site lately but we'd like to offer some assistance.
We appreciate the opportunity to note that while access to records certainly requires a membership, creating and adding to family trees on our site are completely free of charge. Where you find a branch goes missing, there can be two options that cause this.
The first is that an edit to the tree, such as a deletion or merging of a profile, can lead a branch to be removed from the tree view, but still can be found in the list of all people due to a disconnected relationship. In these cases, all that's required is to fix a relationship and mend the branch back together so it can be viewed once more. We'll link some more information about this below that we hope may be of assistance.
Another option can be that the profiles or information added did not save successfully. This can be the result of your browser needing a quick service, most notably clearing out your browser history on a regular basis. Many of the technical issues on Ancestry can be resolved by simply optimizing your browser to handle information from Ancestry properly. Common results of such browser issues include the issues you've illustrated in your recent review, problems when trying to sign in, images and/or page elements not loading correctly, printing issues and more. To prevent issues such as these from occurring, we recommend the occasional spot of browser maintenance such as clearing your cache as mentioned earlier, ensuring your Javascript is enabled and up to date, along with making sure that browser extensions such as adblockers or internet security tools have Ancestry listed as a safe website, for example. We'll link some further information about these options here for your convenience: https://support.ancestry.com/s/article/Fixing-Page-or-Button-Problems-on-Ancestry
Where this does not do the trick, we sincerely recommend reaching out to us with an example of what you've seen so we can investigate the matter an report it appropriately. Uploading a copy of the tree including these missing profiles can be incredibly helpful for this so we can review the matter as much as possible.
As for the Potential Ancestors option you've come across, we can confirm that these work as Hints do. They can be great resources for going down routes of inquiry not though of before, but we can confirm that they are not always accurate, as the name suggests. The feature compares your own tree to that of our members to try identify overlap, and in turn suggestion on ancestors, based on the names, locations and dates within the profiles of your own tree. We do not recommend relying on Potential Ancestors, or Hints alone when conducting your research. We are also happy to confirm that you have the option to reject such suggestions if you find they are not applicable to your research. We'll attach some further resources below on the subject that we hope will provide some further insight.

Thanks again for dropping by so we could provide this information! We hope this can help you in making the most of your research on our website, and we look forward to the discoveries you could make along your journey of personal discovery moving forward!
Excellent price point for gently used books. Very prompt delivery. Plus, the best aspect is that by purchasing used instead of new, it reduces the item’s as well as our own carbon footprint. Reduce-Reuse-Recycle!!
