Processes need updating.

Helpful staff instore. My only annoyance was that I was not able to do a click and collect online, nor was I able to reserve and pay for an item over the phone, to enable collection another day at my convenience. Consequently I had to rush around and make a detour in order to get this item on this particular day. Old systems which are in need of updating to stay relevant. If I hadn't needed to get a matching item before it sold out and was discontinued, I wouldn't have bothered.

Great!

Purchased dinner set online. Easy online ordering and fast and responsible delivery. Beautiful dinner set perfect for everyday dining. My only disappointment is that I can't buy additional plates and bowls individually in order to make a set of 10.

Left for theives!

I selected named day delivery when I was at home all day and the driver didn't even bother to ring my doorbell. I also had left explicit instructions for hand-to-hand delivery only. Instead the driver abandoned my parcel in an unsafe location that is well known to thefts. As soon as I received email notification I ran to rescue the parcel but it had already been stolen! I have also reported this behaviour multiple times to Yodel, and they fail to take my concerns seriously and do not deal with the poor behaviour of their drivers, so such offences occur repeatedly. Absolutely disgraceful, steer clear of this company!

Edit re: yodel's media team response below. This is not the first time I have written a negative review. Last time the team responded in exactly the same. So I took the time to email them the full painful story to give them a chance to improve. Their response completely missed the point, and instead focussed on how if I'm out then their drivers can leave parcels in safe places. Except I wasn't out, and it was not a safe place. There is no point in emailing the media team as they do not so anything helpful. Their response here is for show. If you want your deliveries to be safe, use another company.

Hush is my favourite!

I have been shopping from Hush for years! I love their styles, designed for real women. Typically good quality, easy care, fabrics, comfortable fit and appropriately priced. I particularly love their Star motif range and hope this will continue forever. I also really like that they maintain staple styles which means, if you love something you can go back a year or two later and buy it again! Their website is easy to navigate and their size guide is helpful. I especially appreciate free delivery and free returns process with refunds processed promptly. Occasionally they get it wrong (hey we are all human), however, when they do it is easy to contact them via email, and they are friendly, responsive and quick to resolve problems. As long as they keep this up then I expect I will be continuing to shop with them for a long time!

Convenient and easy to prepare…

Convenient and easy to prepare ingredients with good quality, fresh ingredients. Decent choice of tasty recipes. However, it’s not quite as good as other another competitor we regularly use. I would like to see recipes with greater balance of veg (minimum of 2+ of the 5 a day per portion), and also improved eco-friendly packaging. Current levels of plastic and non-recyclable materials is terrible. Also it would be helpful to have weekly email reminders to check the contents of your box. Of most importance, I’d like to see HelloFresh stop using yodel delivery service as their inadequate service (not ringing people’s doorbells and abandoning boxes outside) is leading to significant thefts of boxes. Instead please switch to DPD who on the contrary will always ring my doorbell and check that I’ve answered.

Cannot be trusted

Despite being at home all day and leaving strict instructions for hand to hand delivery only, the driver abandoned my parcel in an unsafe and unsecured location outside my building which is well known locally to thefts - hence my strict instructions! Furthermore, there is clear signage in this location stating ‘do not leave parcels, not safe or secure’. Despite this signage, the driver dumped my parcel right next to the sign! This is demonstration of pure laziness and unprofessionalism. Not a company to be trusted.

AVOID Worst courier company in the UK

Worst courier company in the UK. Avoid them at all costs! My neighbours and I have experienced long-standing poor experience with Evri which have resulted in multiple thefts that we have all attempted to report in the form of negative feedback and complaints multiple times directly with Evri.

My long-standing issues with Evri I experienced even as recent as last Friday, is that the drivers never ring my door bell, even when I am working from home all day and easily could accept hand-to-hand delivery. Instead the driver leaves parcels outside my building, in an unsafe place, from which parcels have repeatedly been stolen. As this problem has occurred before, there is even a large sign installed that instructs drivers to not leave parcels. Yet Evri drivers repeatedly ignore this sign, although they always conveniently ensure they crop the sign out of their photo showing proof of delivery!

As I said this happened to me again as recently as last week when I was working from home. On this occasion I was lucky that my neighbour spotted this action and alerted me, and therefore I was able to quickly rescue the parcel before it could be stolen. Unfortunately other neighbours have not been as fortunate, and in the past few months thefts have sadly occurred almost daily. My neighbour also tried to politely speak with the Evri driver that day to ask him to not leave parcels there, and to use people’s doorbells. Unfortunately his response was appalling and entirely unprofessional. He stated that he is ‘allowed’ to leave packages anywhere he wants and that he doesn’t have time to ring people’s doorbells. He also said that it is not his problem if parcels are stolen.

Friends and family all over the country have similar experiences. You only need to Google Evri to see that my experience is common practice for them. For your sake, do not believe these positive reviews.

So I strongly urge customers and businesses alike to consider whether you wish to be associated with a company whose employees behave in this manner and who are not interested in acting on feedback.

In contrast I typically have not experienced such unprofessional behaviour from Royal Mail, UPS or DPD, who will respectfully ring my door bell and typically ensure parcels are safely handed over.

Gorgeous products, Poor packaging

Gorgeous products, great website, ordering and delivery service. However, I am disappointed in the amount of unnecessary packaging, particularly with the gift sets which come in a box, in another box, then in a bag, yet another a box, and then finally in the delivery box. It looks huge and yet only contains 4 small items. Gift sets can still be beautifully presented without the need for such excessive packaging. Please try to review this!

E-tickets on devices not accepted!

Purchasing of the ticket was straightforward, and when the event was rescheduled due to the pandemic we were kept informed via email which was helpful. However, when the event came we were forced to use print at home tickets and were told that they must be printed as e-tickets would not be accepted on mobile devices. This is the first event I had attended in years that did not accept e-tickets on a mobile device. Not everyone owns or has access to a printer, nor is this environmentally friendly, and quite old fashioned. I hope this is rectified for next time.
