A very understanding company.

I ordered and received some items in Seymour's sale. There was no charge for delivery, BUT I thought I had ordered more items than I actually had done. I went online again to order the shortfall but when I came to pay I discovered a delivery charge had been added, so I telephoned and then emailed, in response to which the company agreed to refund the delivery charge. Very kind of them to do so but they realised I had intended to order the extra items in the original transaction. So am very grateful for the gesture.

Lots of assistance (where requested)…

Lots of assistance (where requested) including wheelchairs (for two of us out of three). Great help at 3am when going to the security queues at Birmingham. Went through in about 12 minutes!. At Aracife (Lanzarote) we had our taxi pick us up at the place where one normally goes to for departing flights. It saved us a long walk from the terminal building to the car park. Great service all round.

Updating my bifocal lenses.

I came in to have some up-dated lenses put ito my existing frames-there were n problems.(except the lady forgot to mention that my existing specs needed to go away for the new lenses to be fitted) So I returned to the store, selected some cheap(ish) frames into which they would fit some prescription lenses (for distance only) then I could send my ‘normal’ specs away for the new bifocal ones.

A ropey end (in the baggage hall) to an otherwise uneventful flight

The take off for the flight from BHX to ACE WAS delayed for a while due to inclement weather over the south of England but once airborne, the flight went well. On the return, the queues at ACE were okay - typical holiday flights, but we moved quite quickly. Again, once airborne the flight passed quite quickly. HOWEVER on the ground at BHX the luggage took an absolute age to get delivered to the belt in the baggage hall. And to confuse passenges, there was only a miniscule display to indicate which (of the two) belts was for our flight, and to compound the felony, half of the baggage from our flight ended up being ‘routed’ via the other belt which was signed from another airport. Add to this the fact that there was not a SINGLE airport employee in the baggage hall to ask questions as to the luggage whereabouts, its delay in being sent through for collection. Not a good end to the holiday

I called Patterson Law with some rather…

I called Patterson Law with some rather elementary queries about a Notice of Prosecution which my daughter had received. One concerned a ‘typo’ relating to the location of the offence committed and I wondered whether the error could have been construed as being a cause for appealing against its issuance. I had a shortish conversation with Karen who kindly called me after I had left a (fairly) basic message, and we discussed the matter. She gave me very sound advice regarding the Notice, and my daughter will be returning it having carried out what Karen advised. We await the outcome with interest.

Only four stars....

Only gave four stars for a simple reason. It was not made clear that EACH packet being returned requires a unique bar-code, and I, ‘being smart’ copied and printed the same label and attached one to each of about 6 bags, in preparation for returning capsules from time to time.

I’ve since, learned my lesson!!
