Update 3. Evri’s lost my parcel

Please read update at end.
2nd review for same issue. Parcel at evri gateway Saturday. Not moved, still at gateway Tuesday. Tried to contact them but could only get a chat bot😡. Claire did get in touch later though and said she could see the problem and it missed their delivery driver ( strange as it hasn’t made it to the local hub). She also said it should be back on track and would be back in touch by 10am Wednesday morning. It’s now Friday and no contact. I wrote a review on here going over the issues and Becky at Evri Replied saying to contact them on the number given to speak to someone about the issue. But you only get an automated reply saying that they are looking into the issue already and will be in touch. Absolutely terrible customer service. I will again though praise our local drivers as they are fantastic

So Evri has replied to this review with what appears to be an automated reply, a duplicate of the first reviews reply. Still not addressed any of the issues or being able to actually talk to someone. Only giving a number again that is answered by AI and tells me that they are already looking at the issue again and will be in touch.
This just shows what Evri think of us as customers.

Update three. Evri have now informed me that they’ve appear to have lost my parcel as it’s now been over 5 days. But they will of course still keep looking for it. This was a time sensitive order which has now passed so the item isn’t really required and a refund will be awkward to get.

Parcel stuck at gateway and terrible customer service

Evri tracking shows my parcel at their gateway Saturday evening. It’s now Tuesday and it hasn’t moved. Tried to contact customer support (Impossible) you just get a chat bot. Left an enquiry and some one did get back in touch. Excuse was it missed the delivery driver, strange as it hadn’t made it to local delivery hub according to tracking. Claire said it should be back on track for delivery and would get in touch the next day to confirm. 2 days later still no delivery and still hasn’t been in touch to check. This isn’t to take anything from my local delivery person as they are fantastic.

Local driver was great so difficult to…

Local driver was great so difficult to leave 1 star. But it took Evri a full week to get the delivery to the local driver from their sorting hub. Also got no reply from their contact / automated chat bot for three days. This is why I can not recommend Evri as a delivery service.

Delivery was a little slow on this occasion (issue with courier I believe) but communication was very good and all the items arrived. Very good value for money. Highly recommended.

Rebranded Hermes

Rebranded Hermes. Service not improved. Waited in for a delivery today only to receive a text saying there was an issue accessing the delivery address. Unless my jeans from next were being delivered in a 20ton arctic lorry there has been no problem getting to my address today. SAME OLD HERMES. UNRELIABLE.

Had a parcel booked for delivery today…

Had a parcel booked for delivery today @ 12pm was notified it would now be 3pm. Hasn’t arrived and checked tracking to find it now won’t be delivered today and will only find out new delivery on the next working day. This happens with Hermes all to often. Very poor service.

Issue with extra deposit at desk but no problem overall.

The car hire was a very easy process. And generally good value for money.
The only problem I had was that there was an extra deposit to make at the service desk that I wasn’t aware of when booking with Holiday Autos. I understood there was a hold put on my credit card as I’d used HA’s insurance but not aware of a second as I’d taken a full to full fuel rental.

Next business day delivery took seven…

Next business day delivery took seven days to arrive. The package was posted on the 1/06/20 as can be seen on Hermes label and didn’t arrive till the 8/06/20. Other delivery companies are managing to stick to their delivery promises.
