I got a proposal from Paycom for 8 employees and total upfront investment was about $2500 dollars to start. Their system seemed to be user friendly and helpful but the cost just to get started was way to high for small businesses. They should focus on Medium to Large companies if they are going to charge so much up front.

We have used Paylocity for 2 years and at first everything went great. About 10 months ago everything started to change. Our service has gone down hill and Paylocity has dropped the ball on a number of key items for our business. Our employees hate using the system for time tracking etc as it is never accurate. We have asked for numerous calls to fix this and other issues and still get the run around.
Had a demo call set up to speak to Gusto about their payroll and other services. Our Gusto "rep" was 10 minutes late to the call. When we were finally able to get him on the phone, he was completely silent. He did not say hello or greet us in any way. We asked if he was on the line and he confirmed he was and then went silent again waiting for us to say something. Just a weird experience, not for us.

Hard to see the different descriptions of products. Customer service is horrible and it takes a long time for to receive your order. I was never updated on when my ordered would be ready and have waited up to 6-7 weeks to get an order completed.
