Review of Public Nectar
I've been a client of Public Nectar for almost 3 years and I have found their serices exemplary from the start (hance lasting so many years with them). l utilise their Google and Meta advertising services, and have weekly chats, regular updates and regular deliveries of latest performance reports. They are not cheap, but you get what you pay for. There are many amateur agencies out there selling cheaper services, but Public Nectar are the real deal, and well worth the investment!

Booked a call online for a specific date and time. No one called. I called the office and the phone picked up, but no one spoke. I emailed to ask why no one called and got no answer back. A joke. Lost my business.

I paid 2000 Euros for a VW Caravelle (specified) for 10 days. When collecting I was told that due to lack of availability of this vehicle across the company, I was to be charged an extra 5 euros a day. So I WAS CHARGED 5 EUROS A DAY FOR A CAR THAT I ALREADY PAID FOR. How are we the customers supposed to prove that there IS in fact lack of availability, this could be made up! I saw two on the forecourt...2! but somehow, their rarity means I was charged a made-up fee. Rediculous.
I was also charged 200 Euros extra for picking it up from the Airport. Apparently this is a"Premium Location" and therefore Sixt charge you 200 Euros more for the pleasure. When booking the vehicle this was not separated out as a line item, so I had no idea. If I had seen this, I would have gotten a train to Sants and hired from there...but I dodn't know and it was too late by the time I found out.
The lady at the desk was kind and efficient, and it's not her fault that the company she works for hide fees and charge customers for random things.
Bottom line - If I select a vehicle and pay for it. I expect the transaction complete....I don't expect to be charged extra because that vehicle has low availability...which I can't prove and neither can the person at the desk. This must be against EU consumer law. I will be finding out.

It's a scam. Stay away. This is not news as there are plenty of users out there with the same warnings. It's weird their high score on here and misleading.
Signed up for free 2 month trial which went well, except for the constant text/email reminders!! Then got a call near the end offering a great deal on the rest of the course. I accepted and was charged £90ish.
The calls, texts, emails instantly stopped. I had no delivery of course material, no follow ups, no nothing... It all stopped. I sent an email asking what was up, and heard nothing back... Then a response days later saying there was no record of me on the system. Amazing. I answered some questions And now again plunged into silence.
I have cancelled my PayPal payment authorisation with Shaw Ac as they are scammers and i would likely have other charges taken in the future.
I'm saddened to read the warnings too late across the web.
The Shaw Academy are thieves and should be ashamed.
What a waste.

Review of ParcelABC - courier service
I am sad to see some bad experiences on here, however it usually those who are most impassioned by an experience that tend to go online to share... and nothing is more impassioning than a bad experience that makes you angry. So to balance things I want to wade in.
I have been using ParcelABC consistently for the last 4 years. I have organised pick-ups and deliveries from varying locations and to and from varying countries in that time.
I have never had an issue with ParcelABC. Their quotes are great! and beat most other companies out there. They have an effective customer help service, if a little sluggish at times. I have received refunds where necessary. People must remember that they can't be responsible for couriers' behaviour or performance and ultimately they are the ones that deliver the goods.
Go with the UPS standard services or ParcelABC's own-branded offerings and not much will go wrong.
Check the labels and use the couriers own tracking numbers and services! that'll always be faster as ParcelABC have some work to do when it comes to tracking. but this workaround does the job.
You usually get what you pay for, but with ParcelABC I have always thought I get a little more.

This was my first experience with AVIS and the whole process was smooth, professional and stress-free. Excellent service and value for money. I will certainly use AVIS again.
