We tried to use Housfy in Spain to buy a house, worst ever experience with an "estate agent" although they are not estate agents just customer service reps.
1) when viewing the house the agent had no idea where the house was on the urbanization so took 10 minutes to find it. She had ZERO information about the house, could not answer any questions at all. Completely useless.
2) We put an offer in with, and Housfy, and passed on the offer to the vendors. But that's the limit of what they can do. They have no information about the property, they don't help with negotiations, they have no experience in selling properties at all. We had to do all the research work ourselves into the property.
3) As the buyer WE were given a bill of 60000 euros (2% of the purchase price) to pay. The vendor pays nothing, but the buyer has to pay the fees.
Housfy are effectively useless, they are just customer service agents that pass on messages and open the door for you to look at the house. It is not a professional organisation.

Although I’m glad everything was eventually sorted with Housfy, I was surprised by the fee differences. At first, I was charged around 5% of 100K, which I negotiated down to about 3.5%. A month later, I referred a friend who was offered just 1.9% — and he didn’t even have to negotiate. The main difference was that he worked with the Madrid branch, while I was assigned to Barcelona.
When I raised my concerns, I was told fees depend on negotiation, which felt unfair and inconsistent. My friend didn’t have to negotiate at all. I never got a proper explanation or resolution, which left me disappointed.
I advise anyone considering Housfy to clarify the fee beforehand and be cautious, as their pricing seems unclear and inconsistent.

Viewing booked, half an hour before time slot viewing cancelled, 20 minutes later agent messaged to say they were waiting for me and it was still available, then the next day told it was not, absolute waste of time AVOID!
Response untrue, I already contacted you directly, failed to follow your own complaints procedure

It was my life-long solution, when it comes to the real estate matter. I sold my apartment for a good price and managed to get a wonderful house. Believe it or not, by almost the same price.

Had a seamless experience in finding our next flat to rent in Madrid!! Sergio was incredibly nice, friendly, and helpful. He was always super responsive and willing to support us. The only star missing is for Housfy’s 3-months of deposit policy, but everything Sergio has done was perfect and allowed us to find a lovely new home.

My experience with Housfy in Spain has been an absolute disaster. Every time I scheduled a visit to see a house through them, I arrived only to find that no one was there to open the door or show me the property. This didn’t happen just once—it happened repeatedly, at least three times.
Imagine taking time out of your day, coordinating your schedule to view a property you’re genuinely interested in, and showing up to find the door locked and no one around to assist you. It’s not only unprofessional but also deeply disrespectful to potential clients.
I tried to call and follow up after each incident, hoping it was just a misunderstanding or a one-off mistake, but the lack of response and accountability was astounding. They simply do not care about their customers or the effort we put in to try and work with them.
Avoid them.

I made a visit to rent an apartment and said that I will rent it, but now it's impossible to contact the agency, they are not responding or answering calls. Terrible service.

Booked a call online for a specific date and time. No one called. I called the office and the phone picked up, but no one spoke. I emailed to ask why no one called and got no answer back. A joke. Lost my business.

TERRIBLE - AVOID!!! They are one of very few estate agents to charge a fee to the buyers in Spain. Once you have paid, you will not hear from them. You have to chase and eventually do everything yourself. The mortgage finding service is the same.

Bought a house with Housfy. We were very lucky that the company that was selling the flat was using this agency! Everything went smoothly, the agents were very responsive and they use software to sign documents online. The best part were low fees. Don’t know exactly how much we paid (as of 2023) but it was nowhere near what other agencies are charging. I would highly highly recommend this platform

The rental process started off well, but since then, we've encountered multiple issues with slow response times. It seems once they've received payment, their attention dwindles. We've endured days without electricity, and their only advice was to contact the insurance company they recommended, which only covers contents and hasn't been helpful otherwise.

Poor responses to resolve issues and refusal to return rental deposits. I would never use or recommend them again
