First AND last online purchase

First and last online purchase. I placed an order one week ago which I am still yet to receive so I sent an email yesterday and received a response saying it still hasn’t even been dispatched. Not at all impressed.

EDIT: Buyer Beware! Order placed on the 08/05, I sent an email on the 15/05 enquiring as not received and was told not yet dispatched. I replied on 15/05 requesting to cancel order and receive refund and got no response. I sent further emails on the 16th and 18th and have received no response to these either and still no parcel. ***Buyer Beware***

UPDATE: It’s been 2 weeks, finally contact to say they have cancelled my order but still waiting for a refund. It beggars belief that someone cannot cancel the order AND issue the refund all at the same time.

My dad absolutely loved loved loved the book :) which arrived on time, well packaged and in pristine condition. 10/10 from me

Your flowers could remain in the packaged parcel for UP TO 3 DAYS!

Everything appears great until of course it goes wrong. Ordered flowers Sunday afternoon with a specified delivery slot the following day which cost an additional £4.00
Much to my disappointment today the flowers did not arrive.
When I called Haute Flowers to discuss I was told the delivery slot is not guaranteed. I was also told that their flowers are packaged to be able to remain in a cardboard box in a delivery van for up to 3 days.
Had I known these two things prior to placing my order I would not have gone ahead with the purchase.
It’s been a hot day today, goodness knows what state the flowers will arrive in tomorrow IF they arrive at all.
A total disappointment.
Would not buy from this company again.

First time customer and last. Ordered tomato superplugs and tomato plants. They arrived yesterday and look incredibly weak and very limp. I’ll be really surprised if any survive. Order already delayed due to poor weather/growth. So disappointed, total waste of £40. Would like a refund please Marshall’s

Rotten wet food pouches

I had previously bought True Instinct wet food pouches for my 3 cats for years and they loved it. It smelt wonderful and I felt reassured the contents were healthy. Then it changed over to Natures Variety. Recently I had a run of extremely high fat content in the chicken and beef pouches which looked unsightly but the company checked it and said it was fine. So we continued with me just picking out the solid chunks of fat. However, this morning has now left me feeling I need to change food. I opened a chicken and goose pouch and it instantly smelt like something had died in my kitchen. I work in the medical profession and have never gagged on a smell in over 30 years. This smell this morning almost made me vomit, even thinking and remembering the smell makes me gag. It’s made me not want to open the other pouches. The boxes and pouches show an expiry date of 2025. So so disappointed and concerned. How does one continue to buy the same brand after this? In fact this has possibly now just put me off all wet pouches. I have boxes and boxes of this food and it’s not cheap! I cannot be the only customer who has experienced this… the contents of this pouch would obviously be spread across multiple pouches and therefore multiple customers.

***UPDATE - company informed, not even interested in receiving and quality checking the contents. Decided it’s just one of those things apparently, a ‘blown’ pouch apparently, a rare occurrence apparently. All investigated and decided in a short email. Oh dear, nevermind, sorry about that.

***Further update - TrustPilot got in contact stating Natures Variety (excluding U.K.) wanted more information and if I failed to provide that information then my review may be removed. I’ve provided my details via the link but no-one new has been in contact. If my review is removed this questions the honesty and integrity of not only the company in question but also that of trust pilot.

Ordered on 10th Dec - still not in receipt of purchase yet the company was still advertising yday as being last day to order for guaranteed Xmas delivery knowing full well this isn’t true. I’ve sent two emails with no response. Got through on phone yday after 45min wait, manager said he would call me but didn’t. Very poor customer service, very disappointed. Buyer beware.

Dear Stephen,
I was not offered any alternative means of postage. Just 48hr delivery by Royal Mail at the point of my order on the 10th Dec. For your information, your colleague/manager Miguel did NOT get back to me! I’m still waiting for that ‘managers’ call. I suggest you get your facts right before rubbing salt in the wound!! Not impressed one little bit. Furthermore, the parcel that you suggest should still arrive by Xmas has still not even been scanned by Royal Mail.

I am sorry that you have still not received your parcel. Like everyone we are aware of the strikes and the delays this is causing, we still advertise guaranteed delivery for Christmas as we offer a variety of couriers for you to choose from who have assured us of this, so this is accurate.

Lazy, unprofessional, sloppy service - drivers cannot be bothered to deliver to door. Parcels are left 2 floors away from actual property in an unsafe communal area… and they then try to argue the parcel was delivered to ‘my porch’ and that where it was left was a safe place. Issue reported, management try to appease the customer and then the same thing happens again and again. I now check with online companies which courier company they use and if it’s EVRi the companies kindly use a different courier for my parcel or I simply avoid.

Shockingly poor customer care

You would think or like to think that the name ‘Dior’ would attract reviews comparable with the presumed pleasure given by its products. I have always been a fan of Dior perfumes but until recently have always made my purchases in stores… simple, go in, choose, purchase, leave, enjoy the perfume. However recently I was encouraged in store to join the Dior loyalty programme (recently extended to the UK). This then led me to look at Dior perfume and make up online where I went ahead and made my first online purchase direct from Dior. What a terrible mistake this was. It has opened my eyes to the true shambles of a company whose reputation up until now has been boosted only by the unrelated store I have made my previous purchases from. Dior would appear to now be so big that it has lost sight of what it means to offer customer service - there is none. It took Dior a week to respond to a query via the online ‘contact us’ form. This long awaited response totally contradicted the response from the Dior ambassador via the online chat (text). So I sent another email this Monday to question the differing and unhelpful response and of course I’ve still got atleast another 4 days to wait before I can even hope for a response. There is no customer focus. There is no customer care. Sadly I now have a completely different view of the company which has in turn affected my interest in their products. I will not be purchasing again online or from any store and will be sure to let everyone I know what a terrible service Dior offers the customer.

I am a recent new customer of Lookfantastic and I have to say I’m very impressed. Competitive pricing, easy ordering, prompt delivery, great packaging and friendly customer service team. Only grumble is that they use Hermes 🤦🏼‍♀️ which is a review for another page!

Shockingly poor customer service

Received smashed item. Communicated with Yankee via ‘contact us’ form. Got couple of initial responses asking for photos (which I sent) but no communication since. It’s now been 3 weeks and still no refund or even a replacement. Tried to escalate the matter by leaving a detailed message for the attention of the customer service manager (as per their procedure) but that communication seems to have been ignored too. Tried to leave a review on their website outlining great candles but poor customer service/item smashed etc but my review was denied/blocked. Now I can’t help but question the reliability of all their other reviews. My experience has been shockingly poor. Previously thought so highly of Yankee Candles - but now sorely disappointed, quite stunned to be honest and definitely won’t be buying again.

Like many I switch my supplier to try secure the best rates to save money!

Having recently left AVRO for a seemingly cheaper supplier it turned out I made a mistake.

Today I spoke with Ryan M who demonstrated 1st class customer service skills! Ryan was attentive, extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. He took time to explain and answer my queries. He was not at all pushy and left me to make my own decision in my own time.

Customer service advisors with his exemplary customer service skills are regrettably few and far between! I hope AVRO appreciate his contribution to the company and recognise my return of business was heavily swayed by Ryan’s helpfulness.

If AVRO don’t recognise his worth perhaps another company might read this review and head hunt him! A real credit to any organisation wanting to generate business.
