Unauthorised payments to faudulent shysters

Unauthorised payments - you'd think you would be able to stop this at source, but the only way I could halt payments was to go to paypal and cancel it. Although the bank statement (the first I knew of this) says "effecto", the payment on paypal says it's a medical service. It isn't, it's a scam and you cannot get your money back, just make sure paypal knows you don't want these fraudulent shysters to be paid.

Total rubbish.

Item not delivered as email suggested, nor was there a card, despite the email saying there was. Yodel is compete rubbish in this rea, all my neighbours agree, there's even comments on our facebook page. AVOID yodel at all costs.

they are trying their best

they are trying their best under difficult circumstances (Covid-19 pandemic), Still a few wobbles, but infinitely better than Sainsbury's (who cancelled a delivery with NO warning, despite saying they did warn, so lying as well) or Tesco, and still have good quality items in stock. Long time customer, so I am allowed to book well in advance, where others might not be; since I am a wheelchair user this is crucial.

They may be the worst delivery service in the uk

They may be the worst delivery service in the UK, but they are racing to the bottom with another I won't mention here. I am glad that I ordered through amazon, as they refunded immediately. I check other companies now, and if they use Hermes I won't buy from them. I am disabled and can't face shops any more, everything is delivered, but I do work full time and cannot afford to wait around if Hermes can't be bothered to offer a proper weekend delivery service, and/or upgrade their customer services.

In an update to an earlier review

In an update to an earlier review, they offered me 25% when I said 15% wasn't enough (they didn't even try to refund btw). I have opened a dispute with PayPal which is how the transaction took place. I will be advising paypal to withdraw the rights to use the system, and asking for a full refund.
