After over 32 years with Vodafone

After over 32 years with Vodafone, I finally made the switch to Smarty Mobile—and I couldn't be happier. Despite my long-standing loyalty, Vodafone offered no incentives to stay, which was disappointing. Smarty, on the other hand, impressed me with their straightforward pricing, flexibility, and excellent coverage. The transition was smooth, and I feel valued as a customer again. Highly recommended for anyone tired of being taken for granted.

Review of Octopus Energy

On going problem still unresolved...

Octopus engineers recommended against having Smart Meter installed as my fuse box wasn't really compatible and the Smart Meter would keep tripping it out. Sam at Octopus was a great help and sent me details of consumer unit that was compatible and if I upgraded to a newer consumer unit, all would be resolved. My thanks to Sam for all his assistance in resolving a problem that has been going for a year this August.

Incompetent!

Something is not working when you make an online appointment to be confirmed by SMS, only when you attend they no nothing about it! Also, as of the moment in time I've heard nothing from their complaints department. Maybe I don't count at eighty-years old.

I would have given 5* had it not been…

I would have given 5* had it not been for the following:- I had requested a mixture of notes, but the lowest value I received was 500, when there are 100, 50, and 20 notes. Some of the notes were quite old and a couple were torn. Also, which is outside of The Currency Clubs control delivery was guaranteed by 1 pm, but transaction was received at over 3 hours late at 4.05 pm. Will probably use again, but would request lower denomination notes.

I changed supplier!

I changed supplier, as I was fed up with their continued harassment by text, email, and people knocking on my door to take a Smart Meter. I was sent a cheque, as I was well in credit, only my bank would not accept it due to payee not legible. Contacted Scottish Power several times by phone and email explaining this, but a replacement cheque does not appear to be forthcoming. Probably delaying tactics on their part for changing suppliers!

Total AV nuisance!

What do I have to do to stop Total AV sending me renewal requests? Having posted a review in respect of this on 6th November, to which they replied that my account had now been closed and details deleted, they have again today sent me a subscription renewal. Warning. If you sign up with Total AV, it would appear you will never get rid of them!

Details passed to a 3rd party!

Delivery was a little slow, but I wasn't in any rush to get my order. Very disappointed with both Atlas and PayPal whom I used to pay for my order. Unknown to me, my personal and bank details had been passed to a 3rd party whom debited my bank for a service I knew nothing about or did not want. Everything is resolved now, but this is very naughty, and I won't be using Atlas again and cancelled my account which is a pity because I was quite impressed with the goods I received.

I am sick and tired of unwanted emails from Total AV to renew my subscription. I do not use Total AV, do not want Total AV, and as much as I tell them, they still keep sending me renewal emails. If you are reading this Total AV, please stop now!

Christmas Order!

Considering I ordered at Christmas time delivery was surprisingly quite quick! However, I was a little disappointed that the Bobby Hero XL Backpack had no place to secure/attach keys, but apart from that I really am pleased with my purchase.

Never buy an HP laptop again!

Never buy an HP laptop again! Came with AMD Radeon & Ryzen 5 that conflicted all the time with Micro Device driver. BIOS would not disable the fan from running all the time, and although contacted HP their advice did nothing to resolve this issue. Not even a 3rd party software could slow or prevent the fan from running all the time. Complete waste of money.

They use a useless courier company in Hermes who can't deliver on time or lose your parcel. Now in the process of trying recover my money. Probably another long wait. Dissatisfied customer!

My laptop had be running smoothly!

My laptop had be running smoothly, until after installation started getting error messages. Prevented copying to USB, hardware failure messages, but on running partitions and drive checks everything was fine. Don't know why it chose me to not work as it should, but back to normal now I have uninstalled it.
