ABSOLUTELY AWFUL

Absolutely awful. An Evri courier marked a parcel addressed to me at my old address as DELIVERED instead of UNDELIVERABLE. When I raised a complaint with Evri that my parcel had been refused and was not delivered, they said they investigated and accepted their courier's statement that the parcel had been delivered. They made this finding notwithstanding that there was no photographic evidence of delivery and the homeowner at the delivery address confirmed that she had refused to accept the parcel. The Evri courier was either incompetent, by wrongly noting that delivery had taken place, and/or dishonest, because the parcel was never returned to the sender or to Evri for clarification. Evri's investigation was inadequate and came to a perverse finding. They did to have the courtesy to inform me of their decision and I had to spend ages trying to speak to the original sender. This is not the first time that I have had problems with Evri. They regularly say, when delivering to my current address, that they have tried to leave a parcel, but no one was in. This is never true as there is always a 24 hour porter at the premises. This is just more of the same incompetence or negligence or dishonesty on their part. It has put me off shopping from stores that use Evri as their courier as they are unreliable.

Don’t use this company

Don’t use this company! Their letters don’t comply with World Heath Organisation criteria for discharging patients from
isolation. They also don’t answer emails!

OK service

Very good foreman. Nice crew. Disappointing packing - items which were pairs separated from their twin, lampshades not linked to lamps, contents of boxes poorly identified and contents from different cupboards/drawers mixed to fill space in boxes. Box meant to be taken to storage forgotten and left for me to do - no offer to put it right. Not sure it was worth the price which was higher than all other quotes we received.


I have now seen the reply from Abels. I note no offer was made to move the box to storage which was forgotten at my flat. I think this says it all. Very disappointed.

Thank you for your feedback , we are glad you have mentioned that Abels provided a good foreman for your move. As regards to your other comments we are sorry Abels did not provide the level of services we would expect to provide our customers.

Is the box still at your apartment? Can we make arrangements to collect this and deliver to the storage facility?

I have made our Operations manager aware of your disappointment, specifically in relation to packing of pairs and sets and he will be speaking with the removal team directly.
