ABSOLUTELY AWFUL

Absolutely awful. An Evri courier marked a parcel addressed to me at my old address as DELIVERED instead of UNDELIVERABLE. When I raised a complaint with Evri that my parcel had been refused and was not delivered, they said they investigated and accepted their courier's statement that the parcel had been delivered. They made this finding notwithstanding that there was no photographic evidence of delivery and the homeowner at the delivery address confirmed that she had refused to accept the parcel. The Evri courier was either incompetent, by wrongly noting that delivery had taken place, and/or dishonest, because the parcel was never returned to the sender or to Evri for clarification. Evri's investigation was inadequate and came to a perverse finding. They did to have the courtesy to inform me of their decision and I had to spend ages trying to speak to the original sender. This is not the first time that I have had problems with Evri. They regularly say, when delivering to my current address, that they have tried to leave a parcel, but no one was in. This is never true as there is always a 24 hour porter at the premises. This is just more of the same incompetence or negligence or dishonesty on their part. It has put me off shopping from stores that use Evri as their courier as they are unreliable.
