Best scrap price going for the 2nd time.

This is the second time I have used this site to scrap a car, the first time was not the best as I had to chase for the money but it was less than a couple of days.

The prices they offer always beat local scrap men and they claim to help support charity so its a win win.

No messing about waiting for them to turn up they call you half hour before they arrive and they come load up and its all done. Minimal effort and decent scrap price.

Would recommend to anyone.

Placed an order on the website and then…

Placed an order on the website and then offered a mystery tee which I accepted but the site bugged out and placed an order for 2. I only made available the money for one in my bank so the other wasn't paid, I attempted to get the second one taken off as its holding up my order and the response I got was "Orders can not be changed or modified once placed" how is that even legal? Hopefully an agent will sort this out and I will update my review but so far it's looking shoddy to say the least.

Edit: I am amending my review based on the customer service and delivery speed. They responded the very next day confirming they had amended my order with no issues and items delivered within a few days, can't complain. Can not comment on quality of items but sure they will be fine.

Amazing customer service

Amazing customer service - I phoned Halifax today after losing my job from a mental health crisis, I was told to phone financial assistance within the bank about a 17 pound account fee that left me overdrawn due to no income for 3 weeks. The lovely person I spoke too was sympathetic and sounded like he actually cared, certainly went further than you would expect an adviser for a bank too, he spoke to me as a human like a friend.

Might seem silly to some but since having no branches anymore having someone that makes the call more personal rather than scripted and robotic is an amazing thing.

Thank you halifax and the agent I spoke to.

Sold my details to 3rd party that is…

Sold my details to 3rd party that is non stop harassing me. Call after call after call. I tried getting a quote for life insurance yesterday and despite selecting not to share my details to any 3rd party they have and a company called reassured has not stopped calling since, not the odd call here or there constant, I blocked 3 of their numbers now because they keep calling from new ones. Thanks Confused.

Usual bombardment of sales calls

An insurance company couldn't quote me for life insurance and despite opting out for my contacts details to be shared with any other company reassured have none stop called me today even after blocking the number they rang from a differant one.

Used to be brilliant until recently.

Used to be brilliant until recently.
I have used laybuy for years now but I had a couple of orders that I thought I had paid off because the transactions disappeared from the apps payments screen but then randomly I get a email about late payment fees being added on. Multiple at that. Granted I couldn't pay all the payments as I hadn't budgeted for them to be paid so I accept part the blame but since the update the app is rubbish, I mean it was so easy and straightforward to see payments due before.

To top it off this ebay and amazon thing has inconvenienced so many customers and despite the companies claims I feel is more to do with commission amounts rather than "technical problems" just seems strange it's the 2 biggest retailers and the rest are fine what else could it be?

Despite this, I'll still remain a laybuy customer as they provided credit where others might not I've always been a loyal customer and its an ideal way for small stores to offer credit but unfortunately these stores are usually way overpriced.

Bring back ebay and amazon and keep us all happy.

Honest Draws and Staff

Not played much but I will say they have been spot on, Nitrous is the only competition site I would actually trust as you can actually see the winners are real people compared to the other scam sites.

The fact these guys don't always act professional does it for me. They would rather be true to themselves and their roots than turn into rich snobs.

Got nothing but respect for Matty and the lads and would'nt use anybody else.

Oh and the fact they always draw regardless of ticket sales is definitely a show of character.

I have had an existing policy with…

I have had an existing policy with acorn previously with no issues and no cancellation charge so why this time am I being penalised?

Disgusting way to treat a customer.

I cancelled the policy I had which was nearly £160 a month which was extortionate enough but when I cancel because of affordability issues with my hours at work being reduced this forced me to cancel.

Now they want me to pay £202 cancellation fee. Disgusting and should be ashamed.

Absolutely disgusted with hermes

Absolutely disgusted with hermes. Sent a parcel in December I got a email within a week saying I needed to pay more postage so I paid it instantly weeks later still no sign so I got in touch via the non existent customer service to be told they could no find the item and to submit a claim, they said if I provided details they would submit it on my behalf so I did.

One month later I phoned hermes to be told a claim had no been submitted so had to do it again so I did.

A few days ago I get an email stating I will not be compensated at all because it was prohibited items blah blah blah it was a brand new hamper I purchased as a Christmas present thar cost me money then more money to send with hermes. Digusted isn't the word I have been completely ripped off and makes me laugh how their trust pilot score is so high which is clearly rubbish when the other hermes accounts are so low.

Easy to keep track abs update orders, milk arrives everytime. Only issues are pricing is extortionate compared to local milkman and bottles sometimes arrive dirty other than that I've had no issues.

So far so good

So far so good, amazing price for the policy over half what the next cheapest policy on confused was.

Spoke to Harry from acorn and he was very polite and helpful was willing to help with any questions I had and explained everything throughly.

Faultless Company Amazing Customer Sevice

When I signed up in the early stages I loved peoples energy stance on helping the customer and the prices are significantly cheaper than the big 6 and I recently left a call centre for one the big 6 energy suppliers but whilst I was there all I got was people having a go about high the company was it was so tempting to recommend them to switch to peoples energy.

I have been in contact about a few things at the call centre and honestly the best customer service I have ever received call answered instantly and the agents are always on the ball and want the best for the customer.

So to sum the company up as brilliant wouldn't do it justice but I can not fault it I would definitely recommend anyone to switch saved a fortune on my Bill's and I also love the fact that there is one variable tariff some companies revert customers to expensive tariffs if there is a fault on the account with payment not with peoples energy fairest energy supplier I have been with. Keep up the good work.
