Very poor service.
A friend ordered a bouquet for my birthday. It arrived 4 days after the requested date, and had been in a box in the postal system for 5 days.
I sent Lovelyflora World photos of the flowers which were already in full bloom and some of the bouquet was going brown. Two roses were already dying the following day.
I had expected an apology and a refund for my friend. Instead their reply was defensive and un-apologetic. I was offered a 20% discount code, which is useless as I would never use this company myself, and I will advise my friend not to do so in future.

This delivery for our shop first came when the shop was shut (I was late for work!) but the delivery guy didn't give up. He persevered, came back later and eventually found me in. Despite my tardiness, he was friendly and cheerful and went beyond the call of duty. What a great service 10/10!

Another wonderful purchase from Curio London! I am addicted to this site - I regularly take a peek to see what gems (literally) may have appeared since I last looked.

In the past I've not necessarily had particularly good experiences with Hermes but these 2 recent deliveries have been fine - delivered on time by friendly courier.

I have known the lovely family behind Curio London for 25 years but that isn't the reason I rate their new venture so highly.
I ordered two pieces online before Christmas and they arrived on my doorstep, personally delivered by Curio, less than 24 hours later! Talk about a personal and speedy service. The packaging is beautiful too - handmade from vintage fabric with such attention to detail.
I love the idea of their sourcing these wonderful pieces of vintage/antique jewellery so that customers can browse from the comfort of their own home - and the pieces are so much more interesting and unique than buying new. They find such a variety of styles and prices, there really is something for everyone.
Their website is beautifully designed, very stylish, clear and easy to navigate. I am delighted with my purchases and will be coming back for more. Thank you Curio London Ladies! xxx

We needed to get rid of a wasps' nest quickly and so we went to the Checkatrade site. They list the local companies nearest to us with their review scores and so we were able to make an informed choice. It was quick and easy to use Checkatrade, the location, point score, and number of reviews is very clear, with easy links to the companies' websites. The company we contacted did a brilliant job and we have been able to add our own review of them on the Checkatrade website.

I tend to buy gifts for people from Emma Bridgewater (rather than things for myself) as the quality is so good and everyone loves Emma Bridgewater! They have stock with so many different themes (some personalised as well) that there is always something for everyone - and who doesn't love a mug? One item in my latest order had a slight flaw and I was dreading the palaver of packing it up, queuing at the post office, sending it back etc. However, when I contacted the company I was told I didn't have to do any of that. I just had to email photographs showing the issue and a new item would be sent out. I could keep the imperfect one as well. This is what customer service should be like. Brilliant!

Marks Electrical was recommended to me when we needed to buy a new washing machine. Their price was competitive and the delivery service was very efficient. Their 2 man team of Craig and Nick took away our old machine and plumbed in the new one. It was in an awkward position but they did it cheerfully and quickly. They were very friendly and helpful. A job well done!

Aslan Christian Books have some great deals in their sales and delivery is very quick - a great service!
