Avoid SCS at all cost.
I frankly do not believe the reviews on here are accurate. My experience with this company has been disastrous. Customer service is seriously lacking. Purchased a sofa (2 and 3 leather sofa) in their Slough branch on 11.5.19, paid cash. Advised that delivery estimated time would be 14 weeks but if it won’t be ready for delivery by then, I would be notified. 14 weeks came and went.. no call from their so called customer service. I chased up on 24.8.19 and was advised that delivery would be on 3.9.19. I got rid of my sofa so that there would be space for the new ones, took annual leave and sat in all day on 3.9.19 and no delivery, no phone call to inform me that it won’t happen and despite the fact they have been paid in full. Frankly appalling service . As at today, no call from SCS apologising and seeking to rearrange another delivery. I no longer want their sofa as purely a dreadful company to deal with. Imagine what their sofa would be like if their customer service is like this. I have requested for my payment to be refunded and if not received timeously, will issue a small claims action. Have ordered a sofa from another reputable company. Avoid SCS at all cost if looking for sofa.

Just to clarify in case there is any confusion following SCS reply to this review, the info requested was provided same day to them and to date have not heard a whimper from them. Anyway called my credit card company and initiated a charge back and received the money paid. Bought a sofa from another company. Good luck to anyone that deals with SCS when it comes to sofas.

My suspicion has been right about this company. Glad Amex proactively charged back the payment made to SCS. The company has appalling customer service and should be avoided at all cost.
