Review of DFS Furniture
I’m adding to this at the top before you read my review as after posting the first review DFS replied but haven’t given the public the end results of how they have handled my complaint. The managers didn’t give a ???? They reply the First time was these things happen, so what they're saying is sofas turn up looking Damaged and in second-hand condition, I have them another chance to redeliver and sofa turned up in even worse condition and been without a sofa for 10 weeks, People do yourself a big favour whatever company you buy from do not accept delivery if there’s any Damaged, DFS explained it’s very rare we give refunds. So after giving them that second chance I said now I’m really unhappy I want a new sofa made, and the second time again they said we will not make you a new sofa no matter what either accept this dirty second hand looking sofa that sells for £1,600 and £150 back for an apology there’s no other option, so they wanna give £150 back for two days of having to refuse this delivery on two different days, and let them deliver me what looks like a second-hand sofa. I don’t think so mate, you people are a joke, I want a full refund, I’m now waiting for a full refund they didn’t wanna make me a new sofa, the only reason I’m able to get a full refund is because I didn’t except delivery if I would have excepted delivery I would never be getting my full refund, these people are scammers, I wish they would explain how bad they have treated me and how the CEO doesn’t reply to my 10 emails I sent him (Tim Stacy ) I managed to find someone who excepted to give my full refund what I’m 100% entitled to, 10 weeks you have left me and I’m without a sofa and have to start again and perhase from another company, never again will I buy from DFS and I will let as many people know what scammers you really are, tell the people how you all treated me, people were very aware of these companies who have been bought by another company for £5000000
Dfs really don’t care about you,
I bought a sofa from Stratford as the staff in old Kent road was unwilling to serve me and to busy talking to there friends, so went to Stratford store only to be sent to old Kent road as soon as problems arived, then got sent to the sidcup store to deal with a manger called peter same name as the guy from old Kent road
they may act like they do until they take there money iv waited 9 weeks and a Dameged sofa arived I refused to take it, the manger offers me £100 and they will redeliver but fix the issue with the missing foot, I agreed but as long as it gets delivered in new condition as there were marks on the fabric, the second delivery arrived and the same delivery guy delivered it and they felt bad for me as the sofa was in worse condition than the first delivery, the manager then offers me an extra £50, I have asked for a new sofa to be made and they have refused to make a new sofa for me, these people are complete rubbish, and the managers come across as smug and in caring, they have given me two options except for the Damaged sofa or get a full refund, they will not make me a new sofa, DFS is worth 500 million and yet they can’t offer me a new sofa or promise me a sofa that’s UnDamaged
Really bad customer service and worst sofa quality iv been 10 weeks now and no were to sit down, if I would have excepted delivery I would not have the option of a full refund, I want to be refund at least £150 for the two days I had wait for these delivery that had to be refused because both times the sifa was in poor condition and Dameged actually looks more like second hand good and how can DFS refuse to make me a new sofa and think I’m going to except a damaged sofa they keep saying there going to fix the sofa I have them two chances and after speaking with peter the manger from sidcup and asking him if I he can garentee a sogmfa in mint condition but he has told me he can’t grentee and sofa in brand new mint condition, that’s undamged, seems as doe he was trying to put the blame on the delivery guys when the sofa was double rapped and came straight from the werhouse, you people are worth ?£££££££ millions yet you can’t offer me a new sofa and wanna deliver me sofa that looks second hand, shame on you people.
DFS had to refund me because firstly I didn't except the sofa and secondly I paid via PayPal, otherwise, you will not get a refund
