Debit card lost 4 times
There was suspicious transactions on my account so Santander locked my account and stopped all use on my debit card. Waited for new card to be sent to my home address then found out it had been sent to a branch in another city. Three more cards were sent out and none arrived. In the Glasgow branch today I was told the cards never arrived because of a dispute between Santander and the Royal Mail which turns out is a complete lie. To top it all the counter services were closing at 1230 and not 1500hrs as advertised, Was told by the greeting person that there may not be enough money in the safe. It was sent to another branch again where it sat for 1 week without anyone letting me know it was there. So in total it took 7 weeks to get a new debit card. I have been with Santander from the begin but after this experience I will close my account at the earliest opportunity. Seriously how incompetent can a bank get?
