Random charge after 1 year of policy being finished.

I had an insurance policy with Marshmallow from 6/10/23 - 5/10/24.
At the end of the policy i received my no claims certificate.

Today (14/10/25) I received an email saying £117 would be taken from my bank account as an overdue balance…1 year later after the policy had ended.

I got onto their chat service online to ask why they intend to charge me for an outstanding balance that doesn’t exist from a policy that’s 1 year old & why they still have my bank details after not being a customer for 1 year.

After not receiving a reply in the chat for 1 hour.
I gave up.

Incompatible Processes

I contacted Nest to ask why I’d been sent an annual statement email when my statement is not due. Turned out is was for a separate pension pot with I had with a previous employer.
I asked the agent to merge the pension pots after confirming all my personal details security details I was told I had to tell her the name of the previous employer. I didn’t know it so I told the agent the entire list of employers I’d had in the last 20 years. None of them were the correct name. I was then told the company might trade under a different name. How on earth would I know that? Or what the name could be?
So now there is a pension pot I’ll never have access too with MY money in it and I cant get it. Despite confirming ALL my personal details & security details. Absolute joke.
I’ll be transferring my current pension OUT with NEST asap before then make up another excuse to keep my money.
