Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service.
We brought a car at 2.46pm and used the chatbot to try and change over the details on the policy. We answered all the expected questions on the chatbot then we're told we'd need to complete the transfer with a member of the customer service team. After waiting 90 minutes, we were put through to "Mimi" who took 10-15 minutes to answer each message, needed all of the previously given information again and then asked us to wait half an hour to "check the case with the higher team". We've now been dealing with this for nearly 3 hours whilst sitting in the car park of the dealership which closes in in 8 minutes. I cannot believe the disgusting lack of customer service.
It would be great if you could think of adding coverage to our previous contract that is currently being renewed.

My policy was due for renewal, I used the chat function to discuss my renewal quote. I got chatting with Rhea who was very, very helpful. My only issue was the time In the queue waiting to chat to an agent.
Good Experience - Mikey was great
Mikey at Marshmallow was extremely helpful and was able to resolve all of my issues. He was professional, courteous and very helpful. Consequently, I would recommend Marshmallow to my friends, family and colleagues. It's an online service and all communication is by text within the app as opposed to phone. As long as it works for you, they are a good company.

If you want to be threatened at any given opportunity to have your insurance cancelled speak to a ai robot to discuss important information and be put on hold not being able to speak to a human being on the phone then this is the insurance for you.Shortage of staff apparently as reason to why such a poor service and individuals working on behalf of the company not going through important information with you clearly .Driving for 7 years and can confirm worse insurance I have ever used will not be using them again considering paying a cancellation fee
Fair renewal price shows Marshmallows puts people over profits
I have had a great experience renewing my car insurance. Unlike many others, Marshmallows dedicated staff have taken the time and effort to work closely with me. This has resulted in getting a fair, competitive and good value renewal price for which I am happy. In the end, I have come away feeling satisfied (as opposed to that 'rip-off' feeling you get when renewing elsewhere).
Kudos to Marsha the bot, Kyrie and Landon. Your combined efforts have left a Marshmallows customer feeling rewarded for loyalty.

owefull service. if you cancel they charge 120 pounds fee. but the trick is you can't cancel. there are button to upgrade and buy online, but if you try to cancel they say you need to go through support. no phone, just online chat. in online chat no one replies, more than an hour waiting time

I've been insured with Marshmallow for almost one year, and all their services have been amazing so far. Their app is incredibly functional and user-friendly. Most importantly, their price was significantly better compared to other insurers I researched.
I was initially a bit disappointed when the renewal quote was increasing my price (a trend I understand is mainly due to the general market rise). However, when I contacted them to discuss the price—a process that was incredibly smooth right through their app, with no lost chat history or repetitions—Bianca was absolutely lovely and thoughtful regarding my situation.
She gave me an incredible offer, which strongly influenced my decision to remain a customer and left me with a great impression of Marshmallow, which is a stark contrast to my previous experiences with other insurance companies.
