Hotel and spa present

We sent the in laws to one of the 1 of there hotels and spa as a present.

When they turned up for the treatment they were told they couldn't do it as they didnt have the spa didnt have the bits they needed. They were given access to the spa but not the treatment and given money off there evening meal as compensation to a lesser value then what the treatment was !

When things go wrong they are not effective

Booked with jet2 for easy as they take care of everything or at least thats what it stated on the tin as it were.

In reality if everything goes to plan its the same as organising yourself when things go wrong as it did for me -
Communication is poor
They are slow to react
And when they can not fix it they offer a tiny compensation
Also caught the rep in a few lies

I will avoid jet2 in the future first time I used them and was utterly disappointed.

app dosent work alot of the time…

app dosent work alot of the time constant connection issue also you press buttons and it dosent work. not to mention the fact since we have had cubio we have just seen it get worse and worse very disappointing as in early days we highly recommended it.

Warranty Con

Warranty con - had a warranty fault on phone screen coming away had a small crack on back for 6 months cosmetic only and they used it as a excuse not to fix major faults under warranty. Person in shop even admitted it was a known problem they were seeing alot of !

If you ever have trouble with a phone, we'll always provide any support needed to get it sorted, including a free of charge repair while the phone is under warranty. Any damage to a phone would sadly void the warranty on it, meaning any repairs would then be chargeable. You can of course speak with the manufacturer directly for a second opinion in such a situation.

Amazon use to care …

Amazon use to care about customer service, now they can not even get your name right when talking to you and when you correct them they keep using the wrong name. If it wasn't so frustrating that they were not fixing the issue it would be comical

Won't refund over payment

All good untill you want your money.

We built up a excess in our account over time as they over estimated our payments excess was over £400 and when requested this refunded they would only refund £150 saying we had to dispute to get any more.

Update rather then reach out and try to help this review was flagged with TP to try and remove.

Happy walker

I know the brand from buying climbing shoes many years ago- last year I brought some approach shoes for a bit of summer walking ive got on really well with them and I loved the fact they had a climbing shoe look to them. I've since brought a pair of leather walking boots that I've been wearing into my day to day life to break them in ahead of hiking through brecons next weekend so far im really happy took a week to really break them in and become truely comfortable typical of leather walking boots. DEFINITELY worth shopping around I brought approach shoes at go outdoors but on a price match and boots from sports pursuit which was half thr price of cotswolds.

Good product - prices are suspicious

Ordered some 3 season walking trousers through a website called sports pursuit am really happy with the quality. Sports pursuit had them on offer at price I was happy with direct pricing seems expensive I assume this is marketing for company's that sell at a "discount".

A example I just ordered a tent its £500 down to £220 on discount website and £500 direct from supplier. The tent is "extremely similar" to a well established top end brand that sells for around £450. At the discount its great value but at full price would be a rip off when you can get better versions for less money.

I'm happy with the quality I have with the price I paid but definitely shop around

A real website

I've now placed 4 orders with sports pursuit. My first I was rather cautious I ordered boots that were half the price of what I had seen else where. Often things that are too good to be true are but in this case after reading reviews and speaking to others on Facebook I ordered all came OK. I carnt say if they decent if there is a issue these type of websites don't tent to have best refunds and Returns policy's or teams of customer service ppl but with prices that low I doubt they can afford to. I've since place more orders which 2 I've received and 1 on the way. I've only ordered bits they gace in stock as well so far.

Very disappointed

Very disappointed.

Went to farehame branch today after booking online to go to the family pool and splash zone.

After going in we found the spash zone closed with signage saying it will be closed for maintaince starting 5th of February (today's the 4th).

We didn't stay long in the pool as the main reason we came was the splash zone. I questioned reception when leaving and was told it would be closed for months. I asked why it wasn't clear on the booking they agreed it was clear on the app at all. But said they had signage up in branch (I don't live local so how am I suppose to know), yes this is the same signage saying that work will start the following day. "All we can do is say sorry" they stated I expect this isnt the first time they have had this conversation today.

Over all on this day I also found 2 broken lockers before finding 1 that worked and the changing rooms were filthy. Frankly the only reason this is 2 stars not 1 is as previously its been good. A disappointing boy a frustrating experince if I didn't have a upset lil boy with me I would of asked to speak to someone else frankly I feel I wasted money and time on my visit today and won't be back soon to say the least.

Update.
Following sending this as feedback I have received a email from the site manager which frankly just felt like a brush off.

A new fossil watch for the collection.

I've had fossil watches for years and own multiple (too many according to the other half). Recently order a smart watch which I have have previously had the hybrid. I'm impressed the quality. Delivery was estimated 6 days with non uk warehouses but arrived in 5 no issues.

I do find replacement straps a bit pricey

Almost great…

Almost great- in the past we have not flown with BA this time we booked with BA as they were slightly more expensive £4 then budget airlines but gave us better travel times as we were traveling with a toddler this was key. We could also book out seats straight away (this has changed sadily) this was a key as traveling with a toddler we really needed seats together.

Luggage allowance was really good with a full allowance allowed for the boy even tho he was on a lap.

Our flight out was good mostly we did ask if they could warm a milk bottle which we were told they couldn't do (yet on the way back they offered without us asking) when we landed there no one told us the pram would be on a seprate collection point and we and another couple were left at collection thinking our pram was missing. (We found it while looking for help with no BA staff around).

Upon return bag check in was super slow with with only 1 desk for non priority customers compare this to jet 2 who had 10 desks for there flights was a poor show.

The cabin crew on return were great the boy was really not having a great flight sadily and they couldn't of been more helpful . Once again when we landed our pram was at a different collection point but least we guessed this time and started to look early.

Overall seats were more comfortable and I felt like I had slightly more leg room then the last flight I did with easyjet and Ryan Air.

In the future given the choice if price is similar and timing is right I would be inclined to use BA except not being able to book seats early.

Good products, Awful service

After shopping in pull and bear while in Spain and seeing seeing and buying some great products I've decided to look them up at home. I order some products 5 days ago, I received a email saying the order was split. I would receive part 3 days later and the rest 11 days later there websites states 1 to 2 days for the type of delivery I was placing.

So first part came 2 days ago right .... no it failed to show. Alot of the "customer service" is auto responce it took me till today to speak to a person saying my order is not split when I showed the email they then changed the story leaving me with no confidence in what they were saying. As it stands they full order is awaiting collecting for delivery (which I no longer trust) and that my full order will be delivered together at the 11 days after order. The conversation was over what's app and it took them 15 to 30 mins to reply to the messages.

Currently I have very little faith in the uk branch of the company. There parent company is huge owning other company's likes zara so I really expected more. Such a shame but I not l will not be likely to use the online again and with no local stores to me I guess I won't be shopping at pull and bear.

Update
When I was looking for a human to talk to I reached out on multiple channels. After my conversation on whats app where pull and bear told me my order was all fine all ready and waiting to be collected for delivery , then Facebook has after told me they are still preparing my order. Clearly somone is lieing.

Update 2 .
Package showed up eventually after the lies and miscommunication super slow delivery. All products there and quality as expected. After trying on we sent a few things back via drop off service same day this was a Monday evening it arrived back on the Thursday 3pm and was acknowledged for return 9pm same day with refund to take upto 15 days. Final verdict if I could would be 2.5 stars I do like there products but there customer service is awful.

Overall 👍

Booked up pretty last min within a week of the holiday booking was easy no money upfront and could pay on site with debit card no deposit. Was slightly disappointed I didn't get the car I booked I got a "simular" car which on there books was rated slightly better then the 1 I booked but was slightly worse in my opinion. They gave me the keys and off I went no inspection when I returned they asked 1 question is the tank full as policy is full to full which I said yes I returned keys and off I went very simple no hassle service. Are the cars perfect no I had new ish car with 15k kilometres on it in great condition with a few tiny scratches that you don't notice unless you really look for. The only other issue I had was the in car sat nav showed speed limit and often this did not match what was the actully signed limit on the road this wasn't great as there are hidden speed cameras in Lanzarote and that dosent help.

Bottom line
I would recommend to friend and woukd use again

Would not go again

After recently getting back from lanzarote staying a villa plus villa the best I can say is it was OK which isn't great of a holiday experience. Over the course of the week the villa continued to be a disappointment.
1. Day 1 we went to drop off bags and at midday we knew we couldn't stay and had to wait to 4pm to come back which was fine we could clearly see the prelevious people must of had a few parties over New years eve and the place was trashed. We left the people there working and came back later they had gone and it was OK on the surface throught the week we noticed alot that was missed which we had to clean up having a baby with us including vape pens in the pool. The wasn't anything there to be able to clean with at all so we obviously had to buy bit. Not even any spare bin bags. We ended up leaving the place cleaner then we got it.
2. Let's talk about the "heated" pool it felt freezing my boy went in it once got out after 2 mins and refused to go in again. Considering he was happy playing in the sea gives you a idea of how cold it was this was by far the biggest disappointment. The "cover" was falling apart and bits of plastic was dropping off which then had to be scoped out each day before the couple that did bare the cold used it, this would of been easier if ther wasn't holes in the pool net. The handle to wind the cover back was also broken and we found the broken bit round the back of the villa so another bit not checked by maintaince in-between
3. Showers - we got a villa with multiple bathrooms as we had 7 adults and toddler. With 3 showers we can all get up or get ready to go out quickly right ? Nope villa plus signage saying please stagger showers as it uses all the hot water in the tank too quickly. Also the drain in the main shower was awful the water would fill up around your feet and if your not careful flood the bathroom you had to stop it part way through your shower let water drain and then you could restart.
4. Something we were looking forward to as group was using the bbq on the property, having to scrub it for over a hour first was not in the plan tho, there was a outside sink which really wasn't big enough to clean it properly not to mention the plug rubber seal had gone.
5. WiFi- alot of the time it just didn't work. Now I know some might say 7 adults all logged on there phones but most of us didn't bother as we used roaming data and even with a couple of phones connected at 6am when everyone else is asleep I should of still been able to put on Netflix but nope.

Here is the kicker for me this could of just been 1 villa and the rest of villa plus estate might be ok so I went to there website to review that 1 villa, I never realised there is no reviews and no way to review. This now makes me think they are hiding these experiences.

Simple answer would I recommend to a friend or would I go again to both the answer is no. Bits were OK but too many lil bits wrong and the pool was huge for us.

Our pool heating is designed to take the chill off and makes a pool 3-5 degrees warmer at midday than a non-heated pool, but temperatures can be impacted especially in the winter months when it is not as warm and by the size of the pool.

Many European destinations have water systems that run on hot water tanks, like many homes, this will take some time to heat up when lots of people are using at once, which is why we would suggest staggering showers. The wifi does have different coverage to the level we experience in the UK and we do apologise for any inconvenience caused.
